PREFACE TO THE MANUAL
Before leaving our factory every machine passes an exacting inspection programme.
Following the instructions will ensure that your machine gives long service, in normal operating conditions.
The user advice and spare parts mentioned in this document are given as an indication, and do not constitute an
undertaking. No warrantee will be granted in the event of errors or omissions, or for damage occurring during
delivery, or caused by the design or use of the machine. We are very concerned about the quality of our products
and we reserve the right to make any technical modifications to improve them, without advance notice.
This document will:
•Provide the user with information about the machine.
•Information about its possible uses.
•Prevent accidents due to unsuitable use, by an untrained person, during maintenance, repairs,
overhauls, handling or transport.
•Improve the reliability and durability of the machine.
•Ensure correct use, regular maintenance, and fast fault finding in order to reduce repair costs and
down time.
The manual should always be available at working site.
It should be read and used by any person installing or using the machine.
The obligatory technical regulations in force in the country where the machine is used must
also be adhered to for maximum safety.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•Before starting, carefully read the engine maintenance and operating manual and follow all the instructions.
•Stop the engine before refilling the fuel tank. Never refuel near a naked flame or sparks
which could start a fire. Don’t smoke. Use only pure fuel and clean filling equipment.
Take care not to spill fuel.
•Do not run the engine in a closed or badly ventilated room-danger of poisoning!
Before starting the engine, ensure that no one is in the danger area close to the engine
or equipment, and that all protective guards are fitted.
•Never operate the machine without the belt guard.
•Keep hand and feet away from moving parts while the machine is running.
•Do not operate the machine in closed places and inflammable environments.
•Operating the machine is advisable only with good lighting conditions.
•Hearing protection must be worn.
•Foot protection must be worn.
•Do not touch hot surfaces.

•Only carry out maintenance work with the engine switched off.
•Observe all relevant laws and regulations governing the handling and disposal of used oil , filters and cleaning
agents.
•When maintenance work has been completed , check that all tools have been removed from the engine and all
protective guards refitted.
•Before starting the engine , ensure that there are no persons in the danger area close to the engine or
equipment.

OPERATION
ENGINE CHECK BEFORE STARTING
1. Fill fuel tank.
2. Check oil level in engine crankcase and top up necessary type of oil according to manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Lift the wheels. (See Picture 1 Page 29)
4. Open the extension handle and adjust to a comfortable working height.

1. Place trowel on the concrete.
2. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position.
3. Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” position.
4. Pull the Dead Man Control Handle (a). Press in the black knob (b)and release the handle. Check that the knob
remains inside.
5. Set throttle to slow.
6. Pull the starting cable out by the handle until you feel, a slight resistance. Let the cable run back; in this way
the entire length of the starting cable can be used for starting the engine.
7. Start pulling the starting cable vigorously and at an increasing speed (Do not jerk it violently) until
the engine starts.
8. Run engine at slow speed for a few minutes until the engine warms up.
9. Close the Dead Man Control Handle and check that the black knob has moved outwards.
10. If after several attempts of starting the exhaust begins to emit white smoke, move the speed control
lever to the stop position and pull the starting cable out slowly 5 times.
Repeat the starting procedure.
OPERATING THE MACHINE
NOTE
Always operate the trowel using the Dead Man Control H andle. Always ensure that the black knob is in the
outward position. Do not operate with this knob in the inward position. This is to be used only when or during
starting the engine.
Assembly of the float disc - (See Picture 10 Page 29)
1. Place the trowel on to the float disc.
2. Rotate the blades so that the blades move underneath the 4 L shaped brackets.
3. Rotate the blade adjustment knob so that the blades rise.
4. Ensure that there is sufficient pressure on the blades and that the disc is tightly attached to the trowel.
NOTE
The trowel is to be used only by experienced operators. They must have the knowledge of when the concrete is
ready to be troweled , the angle of the blades and the operating speed.
These instructions should be used as general guidance only.
Floating concrete
Use the float disc or the blades set at a small angle for floating.
The concrete should be sufficiently set before the floating operation takes place.
This must be determined by the operator.
Floating is done at a low speed. To have the machine move to the right bear down slightly on the handle. Lift gently
on the handle to have machine move to the left.
Do not operate machine in one spot but keep it moving over the surface for either
floating or finishing of concrete. If machine is allowed to stand in one spot while not operating , lift up on the handle
to break loose the suction on the trowels and move to a new spot before starting to operate the machine.

Finishing concrete
The finishing operation is carried out with the blades set at a large angle and at a high speed.

1. Set the speed control lever at the low speed position and allow the engine to run at low speed
for 2 or 3 minutes before stopping.
2. Release the Dead Man Control Handle.
3. Turn the engine switch to the “OFF” position.
4 . Turn the fuel valve to the “OFF” position.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

VORWORT ZUM MANUAL
Die folgende Instruktionen werden die Maschine - unter normale Arbeitsverhältnisse - eine lange Lebensdauer sichern.
Die Verwendungsratschläge und erwähnte Ersatzteile dienen als Hinweis und sind unverbindtlich. Keine Garantie
wird im Fall von Fehler und Nachlässigkeit gegeben oder bei Transportbeschädigungen oder durch die Herstellung
oder der Gebrauch der Maschine geleistet. Die Qualität unsere Produkte ist für uns ein sehr wichtiges Argument
und wir erlauben uns deswegen das Richt, jede technische Verbesserung vorzunehmen, ohne weitere Informa-
tionen.

Jeder Person, der die Maschine installiert und braucht, soll der Manual sorgfältig lesen.
Die im Lande geltende gesetzlichen Regeln zur Handhabung dieser Maschine müssen zur
maximalen Sicherheit auch befolgt werden.
SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
•Bevor Arbeitsbeginn, bitte sorgfältig das Wartungs- und Bedienungsmanual lesen und alle
Instruktionen folgen.
•Der Motor abschalten bevor Nachfüllung der Tank. Niemals nachfüllen in der Nähe von Feuer
und Funkeln; es kann ein Feuer anfangen. Nicht Rauchen. Bitte nur reiner Benzin und reine
Ausrüstung benutzen. Bitte sei vorsichtig, der Benzin nicht zu schütten.
•Die Machine nicht in einem abgeschlossene – oder in schlecht ventilierte Räume anvenden – Gefahr von
Vergiftung !
Bevor die Maschine anschaltet wird, bitte sichern, dass Niemand im Gefahr oder in der Nähe von der Motor
oder Material steht, und dass alle Absicherungen richtig montiert sind.
•Niemals die Maschine ohne Keilriemengehäuse benutzen.
•Hände und Füsse von alle beweglichen Teilen weghalten, während der Motor läuft.
•Niemals die Maschine in abgesperrte oder bei leicht entzündbare Stellen benutzen.
•Nur die Maschine bei guter Beleuchtung benutzen.
•Ohrenbeschützer benutzen
•Sicherheitsschue benutzen
•Nicht heisse Überflächen anfassen

•Nur Wartungsarbeiten machen wenn der Motor abgeschaltet ist.
•An alle relevante Gesetze und Regulativen bei Fortschaffung von
altem Öl, gebrauchte Filter und Reinigungsartikeln aufmerksam sein.
•Wenn Wartung zur Ende ist, bitte feststellen, ob das Werkzeug von
der Maschine entfernt sind und ob alle Beschützungsteile nach- montiert sind.
•Bevor Sie der Motor starten, bitte sichern dass niemand sich in der
Nähe der Maschine befindet.

GEBRAUCH
BEVOR START:
1. Benzintank füllen.
2. Ölstand im Motorgetriebe untersuchen und auffüllen wenn notwendig. Öltyp laut das Manual des
Motorproduzentes.
3. Die Räder hochheben. (See Foto 1 Seite 29)
4. Der Verlängerungsgriff öffnen und an eine komfortablen Arbeitshöhe passen.

1. Der Flügelglitter auf der Beton stellen.
2. Der Motorknopf an “ON” dre.
3. Der Treibstoffsventil an “ON” drehen.
4. Die Sicherheitsfahrschaltung drücken (a). Dann der schwarzen Knopf drücken (b) und der Fahrschaltung
wieder loss lassen. Bitte sichern dass der Knopf drin bleibt.
5. Der Gashahn für langsam Fahrt stellen.
6. In der Starterschnurr ziehen bis Sie ein leichter Widerstand registrieren.Lass der Kabel wieder zurücklaufen;
dabei können Sie von Starten des Motors der ganzen Schnurrlänge voll Gebrauch machen.
7. Der Motor bei kräftig in der Starter- schnurr zu ziehen starten und bei erhöhte Geschwindigkeit
(aber nicht zu kräftig) biss der Motor startet.
8. Lass der Motor in wenige Minutten im Lehrlauf langsom varm laufen.
9. Die Sicherheitsfahrschaltung schliessen und untersuch bitte ob der schwarze Knopf wieder aus gekommen ist.
10. Im Fall das der Motor nach mehrere Startversuches nur weisser Rauch ausspuckt, der Motorumdrehungs-
kontrolhahn zu Stopposition drehen und 5 Mal langsam in der Starterschnur ziehen. Der Startprozedur wieder
machen.
GEBRAUCH DER FLÜGELGLITTER
WICHTIG
Immer der Flügelglitter mit die Sicherheitsfahrschaltung benutzen. Immer sichern dass der schwarze Knopf aus ist.
Nicht die Maschine mit der Knopf innen benutzen. Nur bei Starten des Motors muss dieser Knopf innen sein.
Montierung der Glätteplatte - (See Foto 10 Seite 29)
1. Der Flügelglitter auf der Glätteplatte stellen.
2. Die Flügel drehen so dass the Flügel unter die 4 angeschweiste Beschläge kommen.
3. Rotiere der Blattjustierknopf wobei die Blätter aufsteigen.
4. Bitte sichern dass genug Druck an die Blätter sind und dass die Platten straff an der Flügelglitter gemacht sind.
WICHTIG
Die Flügelglitter muss nur von erfahrene Gebrauchere verwendet werden. Sie müssen Erfahrung haben wann der
Beton für eine Glitterung bereit ist sowie wie die Blätter and der Verwendunggeschwindigkeit kennen.
Diese Instruktion ist nur als generelle Hinweis zu verstehen.
Glatten der Beton
Der Glätteplatte oder der Blattsatz wenn einer kleine Ecke geglattet werden soll. Der Beton soll genug trocken sein
bevor Sie mit Glatten der Beton anfingen. Der Gebraucher muss dies selbst entscheiden.
Der Glatten soll bei langsammer Geschwindigkeit geschien. Wenn Sie die Maschine nach rechts drehen möchten,
langsam der Handgriff unterdrücken. Vorsichtig in der Handgriff lüften wenn Sie nach links drehen möchten.
Nicht die Maschine an die gleiche Stelle stehen lassen sondern lass sie über die Überfläche in Bewegung für
entweder Glatten oder Vollendung der Beton stellen. Falls die Maschine ohne Glatten an die gleiche Stelle stehen
soll, lüften Sie mit der Handgriff für eine Lösung der Saugen an die Blatter und an eine neue Stelle stellen, bevor
Sie wieder der Maschine aufstarten.

Der Beton fertig machen
Der Abschliessung der Beton ist bei die Blätter schräg und bei hohe Geschwindigkeit fertiggestellt.

1. Der Gasdrossel in der niedrigsten Stellung unterstellen und lass die Maschine in 2 -3 Minutten im
Lehrlau stehen, bevor Sie sie stoppen.
2. Die Sicherheitsfahrschaltung freigeben.
3. Der Motordrossel an “OFF” ({) stellen.
4. Schliess der Treibstoffzufuhr mit “OFF”

•Nie unter gehen oder unter der Maschine stehen während Heben der Maschine
•Nur der Hebehaken (1) für Heben der Maschine benutzen
•Nur getestete und authorisierte Hebeaus- rüstung brauchen.

Zum umweltgerechten Entsorgung der Maschine müssen die nachstehende Teile entsprechend der
gesetzlichen Vorschriften behandelt werden.
Hauptsächlich verwendetes Material:

2. Maschine : Stahlplatte (AC)
