INSERIMENTO DEI GOMMINI
Il gommino deve essere inserito dalla parte dell’anello rigido nero e
deve rivestire completamente la parte terminale dell’auricolare
(come in gura) per garantire la massima tenuta, protezione e comfort.
INSERTION OF FOAM TIPS
The tip must be inserted from the side of the rigid black ring and must
completely cover the terminal part of the earpiece (as shown) to ensure the
maximum grip, protection and comfort.
INSERIMENTO DELLA PILA
La pila deve essere inserita correttamente, in caso contrario il dispositivo
non funziona.
• Rimuovere la linguetta protettiva della pila prima di inserirla nello sportello pila;
• Aprire lo sportello e inserire la pila con il lato piatto (contrassegnato con il
segno +) rivolto verso l’alto, se la pila è al contrario lo sportello non si chiude.

FUNZIONAMENTO
Accensione / Spegnimento
Per accendere gli auricolari chiudere lo sportello pila e ruotare il potenziometro:
• Per l’auricolare destro ( a pag. 3) ruotare in senso orario.
• Per l’auricolare sinistro ( a pag. 3) ruotare in senso antiorario.
Per assicurarsi che sia acceso chiudere l’auricolare nella mano e vericare la presenza
di feedback acustico (schio). Se si avverte il feedback il dispositivo è in funzione.
Per spegnere gli auricolari,aprire lo sportello pila.
Nota: non è necessario rimuovere la pila, purché lo sportello sia sufcientemente
aperto da interrompere l’alimentazione.
OPERATION

To turn on the earpieces close the battery door and turn the potentiometer:
•Fortherightearpiece( page 3) rotate clockwise.
•Fortheleftearpiece( page 3) rotate counterclockwise.
To make sure that the earpiece is switched on close your hand around it and verify the
presence of acoustic feedback (whistle). If you hear feedback the device is in operation.
To turn off the earpieces, open the battery door.
Attention: it is not necessary to remove the battery as long as the battery door is opened
enough to cut the power supply.

REGOLAZIONE VOLUME
Regolazione del volume per i suoni ambientali
Aumentare il volume = Ruotare il potenziometro in senso orario per l’auricolare
destro ( a pag.3) e in senso antiorario per l’auricolare sinistro ( a pag. 3).
Diminuire il volume = Ruotare il potenziometro in senso antiorario per l’auricolare destro
(a pag. 3) e in senso orario per l’auricolare sinistro ( a pag. 3).
Una volta indossati gli auricolari, per aumentare il volume di ascolto,
ruotare i potenziometri in avanti, per diminuirlo ruotarli indietro.

When wearing the earpieces, to increase the volume, turn potentiometers
forward, turn them backwards to decrease.

POSIZIONAMENTO DELL’AURICOLARE
1 Assicurarsi che il gommino sia pulito;
2 Schiacciare o comprimere il gommino e inserire immediatamente l’auricolare
nel condotto uditivo. Attendere circa 10 secondi, il tempo necessario afnché
la schiuma si espanda e crei una buona aderenza.
3 Se 10 secondi dopo aver indossato l’auricolare dovesse persistere un schio,
signica che l’auricolare non è posizionato correttamente o che il gommino non
è della giusta dimensione. Il consiglio è di sostituirlo con uno di misura maggiore.
POSITIONING THE EARPIECE
1 Check the foam tip to make sure it is clean;
2 Compress or squeeze the tip and insert the
earpiece immediately into the ear canal.
Wait about 10 seconds, giving the foam time
to expand and establish good adherence.
3 If a whistle persists for more than 10 seconds
after wearing the earpiece, it means that the
earpiece is not positioned correctly or that the
tip is not the right size.Try replacing it with
a bigger one

• Dopo la rimozione, riporre gli auricolari nella custodia protettiva in dotazione.

DURATA DELLA PILA
Avvertenza: le prestazioni potrebbero peggiorare con il
deterioramento della pila. La stima di durata media della pila è 120 ore
circa con un funzionamento continuo.
Ogni dispositivo utilizza una pila Zinco-Aria mod.10. Non gettare le pile
nella spazzatura e tenerle al di fuori della portata dei bambini.
Raccomandazione: tenere a disposizione pile supplementari qualora
una pila dovesse esaurirsi durante l’utilizzo del dispositivo.
Avviso di pila scarica: quando la pila sta per esaurirsi si avvertono
periodicamente 2 bip.Dal momento in cui si avvertono i suoni
di avviso iniziale no all’esaurimento della pila possono trascorrere
circa 2 ore.
Le prestazioni e la protezione non cambiano durante l’emissione
del segnale di esaurimento pila.
BATTERY LIFE
Warning: performance may worsen as the battery runs low.The estimated
average life of the battery is 120 hours of continuous use.
Every device has a Zinc-Air mod.10 battery. Do not discard the used batteries
and keep them out of the reach of children.
Suggestion: keep spare batteries on hand in case the battery runs out of
charge while using the device.
Battery low warning: when the battery is low, the user hears 2 beeps periodically.
The time from the initial warning beeps to the battery’s failure is about 2 hours.
Performance and protection are not affected during the signal of imminent
battery failure.
Note: La pila,una volta rimossa la linguetta protettiva,
ha una durata di circa 20 giorni.
Notes: Oncetheprotectivestickerisremovedfromthebattery,
it lasts about 20 days.
MANUTENZIONE
• Non pulire con sostanze chimiche aggressive;
• Sostituire i gommini in schiuma, secondo necessità.
Prima della sostituzione, pulire con attenzione la parte terminale dell’auricolare,
su cui si inserirà il nuovo gommino, con un panno imbevuto di alcol;
• Rimuovere i dispositivi prima di usare prodotti per capelli;
• Non esporre a calore eccessivo;
• Evitare di far cadere o urtare i dispositivi contro superci dure.
CONSERVAZIONE
• Conservare sempre gli auricolari nella custodia protettiva in dotazione;
• Non conservare altri oggetti nella custodia assieme agli auricolari.
RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI
Problema: assenza di suono.
• Controllare che lo sportello pila sia chiuso e che il potenziometro non sia
completamente ruotato;
• Controllare la pila e sostituirla se è scarica;
• Pulire il gommino e l’estremità dell’auricolare.

MAINTENANCE

Before replacing the tip, clean carefully the end of the earpiece where the new tip will
be inserted with a cloth soaked in alcohol;
•Removethedevicesbeforeusinghaircareproducts;
•Donotexposetoexcessiveheat;
•Donotdroporbangthedevicesagainsthardsurfaces.
STORAGE
•Alwayskeeptheearpiecesintheprotectivecaseprovided;
•Donotkeepotherobjectsinthecasewiththeearpieces.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem: no sound.
•Checkthatthebatterydoorisclosedandthatthepotentiometerisnot
completely turned;
•Checkthebatteryandreplaceitifitislow;
•Cleanthetipandtheextremityoftheearpiece.

AVVERTENZE
La mancata osservanza di queste raccomandazioni può ridurre
notevolmente il grado di protezione uditiva garantita dagli auricolari
con il rischio di gravi conseguenze.
• Gli auricolari sono conformi alla normativa EN-352;
• Gli auricolari si adattano a canali uditivi di 6-14 mm di diametro.
Per dettagli al riguardo vedere la sezione gommini;
• Per ottenere l’attenuazione e la protezione uditiva previste, occorre attenersi
alle istruzioni del produttore per quanto riguarda adattamento, regolazione e
manutenzione degli auricolari;
• Assicurarsi che gli auricolari forniscano una protezione adeguata per il livello
di rumore presente nell’ambiente;
• Gli auricolari sono riutilizzabili. Si consiglia di controllarli regolarmente per
vericarne la funzionalità;
• Gli auricolari possono essere danneggiati da alcune sostanze chimiche.
Ulteriori informazioni devono essere richieste al produttore;
• Questi auricolari sono forniti con un’attenuazione in funzione del livello sonoro.
L’utilizzatore deve vericare il corretto funzionamento prima dell’uso. Se si
rileva distorsione o mancato funzionamento, occorre consultare il produttore;
• Per stabilire se il dispositivo stia funzionando, inserire una pila, aumentare il
volume, chiudere il dispositivo nella mano e vericare la presenza di feedback
acustico (schio). Se si avverte il feedback la pila è carica e il dispositivo è in funzione.
