3. Installation
Before Using your Wine Cellar
Remove the exterior and interior packaging.
Before connecting the wine cellar to the power source, let it stand upright for
approximately two hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in
the cooling system.
Clean the inside of the cellar with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
The wine cellar is designed specifically for storing wine, please do not use it
to store other goods.
Installation
The wine cellar should stand independently to ensure that there is good
heat dissipation. The back of the cellar should be at least 10 cm away
from the wall.
Place the wine cellar on a floor strong enough to support it when fully
loaded. To level the wine cellar, adjust the levelling legs at the bottom of
the cellar.
Place the wine cellar away from direct sunlight and sources of heat
(stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic
coating and proximity to heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the
unit to perform improperly.
Avoid placing the unit in a high-humidity area.
Make sure that the unit is plugged into the proper power socket. Make
sure that the shape and voltage of the socket is consistent with the
nameplate on the back of the wine cellar.

5. Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Wine Cellar
Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items including
bottles, shelves and racks.
Wash inside surfaces with a warm water and baking soda solution. The
solution should be about two tablespoons of baking soda with a quart of
water.
Wash shelves with a mild detergent solution.
Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning controls or any
electrical parts.
Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and a mild liquid detergent. Rinse
well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.
Power Failure
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and will not affect the
temperature inside of the appliance if the frequency of door openings is kept to a
minimum. If the power will be off for a longer period of time, proper steps will need
to be taken to protect the contents of the cellar.
Storage
If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all items from the unit
and turn it off. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly to minimize odours and mold.
Leave the door slightly open at all times.
Moving the Wine Cellar
Remove all items.
Securely tape down loose shelves inside the appliance.
Put the adjustable legs up to the lowest level to avoid damage.
Shut the door.

17
Ensure that the appliance stays in an upright position during transport.
Protect the outside of the appliance with a blanket.
Energy Saving Tip
The wine cellar should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from
heat-producing appliances and out of direct sunlight.
