IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. RISK OF FIRE –Turn off the vacuum board and iron switches, and unplug the vacuum
board and iron when finished ironing.
2. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high voltage appliance on the same
circuit.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Use vacuum board only for its intended use.
2. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the vacuum board in water
or other liquids.
3. The vacuum board should always be turned “Off” before plugging or unplugging from
outlet. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to
disconnect.
4. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let vacuum board and iron cool completely
before putting away.
5. Always disconnect appliance from electrical outlet when not in use.
6. Do not operate appliance with damaged cord or hose, or if the appliance has been
damaged.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the
appliance. Take it to a qualified service person for examination and repair. Incorrect re-
assembly or repair could cause a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when
the appliance is used.
7. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not
leave appliance unattended while connected or while iron is on vacuum board.
8. Burns could occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OF
MODEL PND-2500A
BEFORE OPERATING THE VACUUM BOARD MODEL PND-2500A, READ THESE
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND MAKE SURE IT IS ASSEMBLED CORRECTLY
WARNING: DO NOT PLUG BOARD INTO ELECTRIC OUTLET UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY
ASSEMBLED AS SHOWN IN THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
ASSEMBLY OF THE BOARD
Take out of the box all parts of the vacuum board model PND-2500A with great care;
Take the ironing buck and put it upside down on the floor.
Take the column (consisting of two panels).
Using the wrench provided and 8 screws, attach the column (consisting of two panels)
on the ironing board.
NOTE: one panel is right-hand, the other one is left-hand.

Open the electric access panel by removing the 4 screws on the front of the panel with
the allen wrench provided.
Place the base on top of the column, and attach the base to the column with 8 screws
provided.
Reach into the electric access panel opening, and plug the wire hanging from the base
into the socket of the electric access panel.
Then close the electric access panel with the 4 screws.
Take the iron rest and attach it on the vacuum board with 4 screws.
Turn over the vacuum board and put it in the upright position.
Slip the cloth on to the garment catch tray, and then attach the garment catch tray to
the column and base with screws.

Take the water tank/hose support stand (optional) and attach it to the vacuum board
by means of 2 screws.
WARNING: the water tank/hose support stand can carry a maximum weight of 11
pounds.
Remove black plate (“braccio stiro”).
Take the sleeve ironing arm and attach it to the ironing buck by means of 2 screws.
Plug wire from sleeve arm into receptacle on back of column.
Then take the board prontotop (pad/cover) and the arm padding and slip them on
the board and sleeve buck.
Then, tighten each pad/cover by means of drawstrings to insure a perfect fit.

2. IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
1. Connect the vacuum board model PND-2500A to a properly grounded 15 AMP outlet.
2. Keep children away, as they could harm themselves by turning the board over.
3. Do not leave any garments on hot board as they could be burnt or damaged.
4. Do not climb on the garment catch tray, do not sit on the ironing board and do not lean
on the arm. The PND-2500A board has been designed especially for ironing of
garments.
3. START-UP
Insert the plug into a 120V 15 AMP grounded outlet, press the main switch, wait for the
board pilot lamp to go off; at this point the vacuum board is ready for use. (Lamp will go
on and off during normal use.)
4. PRESSING
1. Glide iron on the garments and at the same time press the vacuum pedal. We advise
keeping your foot on the vacuum pedal for a little longer after releasing the steam
button on the iron, in order to dry the garment.
2. We advise changing the padding if vacuum of the board is not satisfactory, or if stains
appear on pressing surface.
3. We also advise always resting the iron on the proper iron rest.
4. When finished ironing, turn off main switch of the vacuum board and turn off power
supply to the iron.
5. FOR PERFECT FUNCTIONING
The vacuum board model PND-2500A has been especially designed for ironing garments
only.
6. PERIODIC REQUIRED MAINTENANCE
Replace the padding after 480 hrs. of operation or after 6 months.
