Opgelet! Vóór de installatie en het gebruik van de ventilator de gebruiksaanwijzingen goed
doorlezen!
Opgelet! Bij het uitpakken van de ventilator ga na of er geen zichtbare beschadiging is.
Opgelet! Houd het aankoopbewijs bij samen met de afgestempelde garantie, om een klacht in te
dienen. Zonder bovengenoemde is garantie niet toegestaan.
Opgelet! Voor de installatie gelieve te controleren of de voedingsspanning (V) en frequentie
(HZ) overeenstemmen met nominale gegevens, die worden aangegeven op de binnenkant van
de ventilator.
Opgelet! Bij het aansluiten van de ventilator is het belangrijk om de polariteit in acht te nemen
(zie Installatie en bediening).
Opgelet! Dit toestel mag door de kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en door de mensen met fysieke of psychische
stoornissen gebruikt worden, enkel indien de gebruiksaanwijzingen en de veiligheidsinstructies
van dit toestel aan hun uitgelegd zijn. Het is verboden voor kinderen om met dit toestel te spelen.
De kinderen mogen geen onderhoud of reiniging van dit toestel uitvoeren zonder toezicht van
volwassenen.

Installatie en bediening
Opgelet! Vóór de installatie van de ventilator de elektrische stroom
van het netwerk waarop de ventilator geïnstalleerd wordt uitzetten.
Opgelet! De installatie mag enkel door een specialiseerde elektrotechnicus uitgevoerd worden.
De ventilator moet worden geïnstalleerd in het ventilatiekanaal (afb.1). De basis model ventilators, de
ventilators met timer (T), de ventilators met lager (B), de ventilators met timer en lager (TB) worden op het
elektrisch netwerk aangesloten. Om dat te kunnen doen, moet het deksel afnemen door het tegenwijzerzin
te draaien en gelijktijdig met een platte schroevendraaier tegen het slot te drukken (afb.2). Onder het deksel
bevinden zich de N-L of N-L-S klemmen die in overeenstemming met de elektrische schema’s (afb.3 - afb.4)
aan het elektrisch netwerk aangesloten worden.
Bij het aansluiten van de ventilator aan de stroom is het belangrijk om de polariteit in acht te nemen en de
fasedraad aan de L-klem aan te sluiten en de nuldraad aan de N-klem aan te sluiten.
Indien de ventilator rechtstreeks aan het elektriciteitsnetwerk wordt aangesloten, dan moet het elektriciteits-
netwerk voorzien worden van een schakelaar die het veilig doorbreken van de voedingsdraad verzekert.
Lager B
De ventilator is bijkomend uitgerust met twee kogellagers in de elektromotor.
Timer T
De ventilator kan met een elektrisch schakelaar S1 (afb.4). Na het uitschakelen van de ventilator, blijf de
ventilator werken voor een bepaald periode die met de regelaar ingesteld wordt (afb.5). Deze periode kan 0
tot 30 minuten duren.
Opgelet! De aan / uit-schakelaar S1 van de ventilator (af b. 4) mag niet zijn uitgerust met een LED-
indicator.
Timer en Lager TB
De ventilator is uitgerust met een timer functie en een kogellager functie. Meer over de timer en kogellager
functie zie hoofdstuk “Timer T” en “Kogellager B”.
Opgelet! De ventilators met de elektronisch regeleenheid moeten ingesteld worden vóór het
aansluiten aan het elektrisch netwerk.
Opgelet! Indien de potentiometer van tijd op 0 min ingesteld is, zal de ventilator zich bij het
aansluiten aan het elektrisch netwerk voor een paar seconden aanschakelen.
Garantiebepalingen
Fabrikantgarantie is 24 maanden.
In geval van schade gelieve de verkoper te contacteren.
Garantieverplichtingen vervallen:
1. Indien er mechanische beschadigingen zijn
2. indien er mechanische of andere beschadigingen zijn opgetreden ten gevolge van een fout van de
gebruiker of ten gevolge van misbruik
3. indien er mechanische of andere beschadigingen zijn opgetreden ten gevolge van een verkeerde
installatie of aansluiting
4. indien er mechanische of andere beschadigingen zijn opgetreden als gevolg van het niet volgen van de
gebruiksaanwijzing;
Er is geen garantie op natuurlijke slijtage.
Informatie met betrekking tot het verwijderen van oude apparatuur. Dit symbool betekent
dat elektronische apparatuur niet als huishoudelijk afval verwijderd mag worden. Dit
apparaat moet bij een afvalverwerkingscentrum afgeleverd worden na gebruik. Restauratie
en de verwerking worden gedaan in overeenstemming met lokale wetgeving en Richtlijnen
2002/96/EC en 2006/66/EC.

purpose of possible reclamation. Otherwise guarantee will be not in legal force.
Caution! Before connecting to the mains supply ensure that mains voltage (V) and frequency (Hz)
corresponds to the parameters on the rating plate inside the cooker hood.
Caution! When connecting the fan, it is important to follow the polarity (see Installation and
Maintenance)
Caution! This device may be used by children starting from age of 8 as well as people with physical
or mental disorders, given that they are familiar with the manual and safety provisions in respect
to this device. It is prohibited for children to play with the device. Children may not carry out
maintenance or cleaning of this device without supervision of adults.

Installation and Maintenance
Caution! Before installation, disconnect the power network where you are
planning on installing the fan.
Caution! Installation may be carried out only by a qualied electrician.
The fan must be installed in the ventilation duct (Drawing 1). Base model fans, fans with a timer (T), fans with
bearing (B), fans with timer and bearing (TB) shall be connected to the power network. To do that, remove the
cap by turning it counter clockwise and pressing o the latch with a at-blade screwdriver at the same time
(Drawing 2). Under the lid, there is either N-L or N-L-S terminal that shall be connected to the power network
in accordance with the connection diagrams (Drawing 3 - 4).
When connecting the fan to electricity, it is important to take into account polarity and connect the live wire to
the Terminal L and the neutral wire to the Terminal N.
In case if the fan is directly connected to the electric power network, the power network must be equipped with
a switch that ensures safe disconnection of the power supply.
Bearing B
In addition, the fan is equipped with two ball bearings inside of the electric motor.
Timer T
The fan is turned on by the S1 power switch (Drawing 4). After turning o the switch, the fan continues its
operation for a specic time interval that is set up by a controller. This interval may be 0 to 30 minutes long.
Caution! The fan power switch S1 (Drawing 4) must not be equipped with an LED light indicator.
Timer and Bearing TB
The fan is equipped both with a timer and bearing function. For more information on the timer and bearing
functions, see section Timer T and Bearing B.
Caution! Fans with electronic control unit must be adjusted before they are connected to the power
network.
Caution! If the potentiometer is set to “0 min”, the fan will turn on for a couple of seconds after
connected it to the power network.
Guarantee
Producer guarantee is 24 months.
In the case of damages contact the place of trade.
The guarantee does not cover:
1. noted mechanical or other damages
2. mechanical or other damages caused by incorrect or improper usage, misuse, abuse or neglect
3. mechanical or other damages caused by incorrect installation or by product’s incorrect tting to
insucient or unsuitable power
4. mechanical or other damages caused by ignoring the instruction manual conditions
A guarantee does not cover natural wear of the product.
Information for Users on Disposal of Old Equipment. This symbol indicates that the electrical
and electronic equipment should not be disposed of as general household waste at its end-of-
life. Instead, the products should be handed over to the appliance collection points for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment, recovery and recycling in accordance with
your national legislation and the Directive 2002/96/EC and 2006/66/EC.
