IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:

DANGER To reduce the risk of electric shock:
An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Always unplug this appliance
from the electric outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
Always unplug before relamping, Replace bulb with same type rated 15 watts.
WARNING To reduce the risk of burns, fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons:
Operate sewing machine only when mounted in sewing machine table, case, and the like. See
the installation instructions.
1. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when this appliance is used by
or near children.
2. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Use only
attachments recommended by the manufacturer as contained in this manual.
3. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it
has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to the nearest
authorized dealer or service center for examination, repair, electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
4. Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings of the
sewing machine and foot controller free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and loose cloth.
5. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
8. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off (“0”) position, then remove plug from outlet.
9. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
10. Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine
needle.
11. Always use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
12. Do not use bent needles.
13. Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. It may deflect the needle causing it to break.
14. Unplug the sewing machine when making any adjustments in the needle area, such as
threading needle, changing needle, threading bobbin, or changing presser foot, etc.
15. Always unplug sewing machine from the electrical outlet when removing covers, lubricating,
or when making any other user servicing adjustments mentioned in the instruction manual.

Se requiere supervisión constante de este aparato cuando esté conectado. Siempre
desconecte el aparato del tomacorríente inmediatamente después de usarlo y antes de
limpiarlo.Desconecte siempre antes de cambiar la bombilla.Cambie la bombilla con un
repuesto del mismo tipo,de 15 vatios.
ADVERTENCIA para reducir el riesgo de quemaduras, incendios,choques
eléctricos o lesions a las personas:
Haga funcionar la máquina de coser solamente cuando esté montada en la mesa para
máquinas de coser, o en otros muebles parecidos. Véanse las instrucciones de instalación.
1. No permita que se use como juguete.Será necesaria la supervisión constante Cuando este
aparato sea usado donde haya niños o que éstos estén cerca.
2. Use este aparato solamente para el fin para el que fue diseñado, como se describe en este
manual. Use solamente los accesorios recomendados por el fabricante, como se indica en
este manual.
3. Nunca haga funcionar este aparato si el cable o el enchufe estuvieran dañados. Si no
funcionara adecuadamente, si se hubiera caído o dañado, o si se hubiera caido al agua,
devuelva el aparato a un distribuidor autorizado o al centro de servicio autorizado más
cercano para que lo revisen, reparen o hagan los ajustes eléctricos o mecánicos debidos.
4. Nunca use este aparato con alguna de las rejillas de ventilación bloqueadas. Mantenga las
rejillas de ventilación y el controlador del pedal limpios, sin acumulaciones de pelusa, polvo y
tela suelta.
5. Nunca deje caer o inserte objetos en una abertura.
6. No lo use a la intemperie.
7. No lo use donde se estén usando productos de aerosol (rociador) o en donde se esté
suministrando oxigeno.
8. Para desconectarlo,ponga todos los controles en la posición de apagado (“0”) y, después,
deconecte el enchufe del tomacorríente.
9. No lo desconecte jalando el cable. Para desconectarlo,sujete el enchufe,no el cable.
10. Mantenga los dedos de las manos alejados de las piezas en movimiento. Se requerirán
precauciones especiales cerca de la aguja de la máquina de coser.
11. Siempre use la placa adecuada para la aguja. Usar la place errónea podria causar que se
rompa la aguja.
12. No use agujas dobladas.
13. No jale o empuje la tela mientras cose. Podria mover la aguja y causar que se rompa.
14. Desconecte la máquina de coser al hacer cualquier ajuste en el área de la aguja, como al
enhebrar la aguja, cambiar la aguja, enhebrar la bobina o al cambiar el prensatelas, etc.
15. Siempre desconecte la máquina de coser del tomacorriente al quitar las cubiertas, al lubricar
o al hacer cualquier otro ajuste de servicio mencionado en el manual de instrucciones.
