Ensure that you know how the fan functions and how to operate it Maintain the fan in accordance with the instructions to ensure that it
functions properly Keep this manual with the fan If the fan is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with

be used No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non -compliance with these instructions or any other improper
use or mishandling

Assembly and Installat on
Unpack and confirm all components
Th s fan should be connected to a 10amp c rcu t controlled by a ded cated solat ng sw tch, su table means for
d sconnect on must be ncorporated n the f xed w r ng c rcu t and all work s to be completed n accordance w th the
current w r ng rules. There s an OFF pos t on on the pull cord sw tch located on the motor assembly however th s does
not d sconnect the fan from the ma ns supply permanently.
WARNING! Ensure the power s OFF before connect ng to the ma ns supply.
Step 1 Fit blade bracket to each blade Note. Blade decorative screen should face downwards on finished product Attach blade bracket
to the blade as shown in fig 1 and fig 2
Step 2 Attach blades to motor assembly as shown in fig 3
Step 3 Remove base cover from base plate
Step 4 Screw base plate to ceiling using the screws supplied
Step 5 Connect mains supply wires to terminal block (P - N - E) Warning Ensure power is OFF This appliance must be earthed
Step 6 Place ceiling base cover over motor wires as shown in fig 4
Step 7 Remove the fixing bolt and cir-clip from the lower end of the extension tube
Step 8 Place the extension tube carefully over the fan motor wires, pull fully out the top of the tube and attach the extension tube to
the motor assembly Fit the cir-clip to the securing bolt as shown in fig 4
Step 9 Connect the fan motor wiring to the terminal block Ensure all earth wires are securely connected

Note. This fan has internal wiring for an optional light attachment This model is not ava lable with a light attachment
Wiring guide
Brown – Fan Live supply wire
Blue – Fan Neutral supply wire
Red – Spare Light (optional) supply wire
Green / Yellow – Fan earth supply wire
Step 10 Bolt the base cover plate to the base plate Ensure that the extension tube is sitting correctly and the fan is hanging free

Operat on.
The fan is now ready for operation Turn the mains power switch supplying the fan to ON Pull the pull cord to select OFF – LOW – MED
– HIGH fan settings
Reverse Funct on
For winter period the fan may be reversed to aid heating To reverse the rotation of the fan alter the direction switch located on the fan
assembly
Warn ng! Ensure that all fan blades are securely fitted before use
Warn ng! For fans installed at a high level Ensure that the fan is installed so that the blades are more than 2 1m from the floor
Warn ng! To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid state speed control device unless that device has been
specifically supplied for this fan
Warn ng! Avoid contact with moving parts

CLEANING
Before clean ng.
When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the fan from the mains supply
Warn ng! Ensure that the fan is switched OFF from the mains supply before cleaning or removing any guard
Carefully wipe the outer surface with a damp cloth, dry with a dry towel Do not use harsh abrasives, solvents, chemical cleaners, petrol
or similar to clean this appliance as these may damage the plastics Always replace any guard before use
Store n a safe place
When not in use store your appliance and instruction manual in a safe and dry place

This product is for household use only This product is guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months
from the date of purchase The obligation to the purchaser under this warranty is limited to servicing the unit and replacing defective
parts when the product is returned freight prepaid to the retailer This warranty becomes void if the product has been tampered with,
damaged by accident, damaged in any other way by improper use or has been purchased second hand All production orders have
quality inspections In the unlikely event of a deficiency, please contact the retailer from whom this product was purchased
