The EVOC backpack with integrated back protector was developed exclusively for cycling, moun-
tain biking, snowboarding and skiing.
Cycling, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding as well as descents in alpine terrain come
with risks. The EVOC backpack with integrated back protector is designed to reduce the risk of
serious injury in the event of a fall when engaging in these activities.
The EVOC Backpack with integrated back protector is made for a temperature range
from -20°C to +40

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
The size of the EVOC backpack with integrated back protector must be chosen based on torso
length and body size in order to be able to fulfil its protective function. Please consult the size
chart on the following page.
The EVOC backpack with integrated back pro-
tector was developed exclusively for cycling,
mountain biking, snowboarding and skiing.
The EVOC backpack with integrated back pro-
tector is made for a temperature range from
-20°C to +40° and designed as a full-back
protector according to EN 1621-2:2014.
EVOC Sports GmbH will not be held liable for any damage that results or has resulted from
using a backpack of the wrong size.

RESTRICTIONS ON USE / EXCLUSION
The EVOC backpack with integrated back protector has been designed and certified specifically
for the sports described in section “Purpose / Area of application”. Excluded from this are events
in the extreme range of these sports. This backpack is not suitable for sports other than those
mentioned above, in particular not for the use in motor sports or with motor vehicles such as
motorcycles, snowmobiles, quads or similar vehicles.
Protection against all injuries cannot be guaranteed. This includes twisting, overstretching or
compression, as well as spine compression fractures.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The EVOC backpack with integrated back protector can reduce the severity of injury from impact
only if it is correctly positioned and worn. Please observe section “Correct fit | Adjust backpack”.
No changes may be made to the backpack including the back protector in order not to impair its
protective effect.
The flexibility of the protector is ensured by the surface material property; however, the protector
should not be bent.
SAFETY INFORMATION
ASSEMBLY | COMPONENTS
• Make sure that the backpack is not too high or too low on your back. Tighten shoulder straps,
chest strap and hip belt.
• Before each use, make sure that all straps, belts, buckles and plug fasteners are tight.
• Be aware that carrying with you any pointy and/or sharp objects (such as knives, screwdrivers,
crampons, tools, bottles and other hard objects) can impair the protective function.
• Do not carry any glass bottles or explosive objects (such as gas cartridges and pressure contain-
ers) or highly flammable and corrosive liquids in the backpack.
• Make sure that all objects that could damage the protector are not loose in the backpack. Protect
pointy and /or sharp objects properly (with a tool bag, protective cover for crampons, knife case
etc.) and pack them such that they point away from the body
• When using ski lifts or similar transport facilities, take the backpack off, or, alternatively, make
sure the backpack does not get caught on something when you get off the lift.
• When using the backpack with a strapped-on snowboard, skis and/or climbing assistance devices
(such as snowshoes or short skis), please note that the greater size and much higher centre of
gravity can increase the risk of getting caught on something or of you losing your balance.
• Please note that a backpack containing heavy objects may have a negative impact on the sports
activity.

CONNECTION OF PROTECTOR AND
BACKPACK
The EVOC backpack with integrated back
protector is a single firmly connected unit.
Nine connection points hold the protector and
backpack together and create a single fixed
unit. All connecting elements are irreversible.

CHECK BEFORE EACH USE
Before each use, make sure that the backpack and the protector are fully functional. Proceed as
follows.
• Make sure the protector shows no mechanical damage and check that all nine (9) attachment
points are undamaged.
• Additionally, check each of the nine attachment points by pulling on them.
• Check how the backpack is packed. Heavy items should be at the bottom and as close as
possible to the body's centre of gravity. Pointed or sharp objects should be wrapped up addi-
tionally and positioned such that they point away from the body.
• Make sure that the content of the backpack is sufficiently secured and stays in place.
• Make sure that the backpack is properly closed with all plug fasteners and zips and that they
are all in proper working order.
• Check the tensile strength of the stitches of the shoulder straps and hip belts.
• Make sure none of the straps or belts have any tears or other structural damage.
The back protector only provides protection of the areas covered by it in accordance with the
EN 1621-2:2014 standard. This protection is only guaranteed when the EVOC backpack with
integrated back protector is in the right and intended position.
CORRECT FIT | ADJUST BACKPACK
To adjust the height of the hip belt, reach
under the protector on both sides in the lower
third and release the hook and loop fastener.
Adjust the height and then press the hook and
loop fastener firmly back into place so that a
secure connection is created and this position
is fixed.
Put on the backpack with shoulder strap,
chest strap and hip belt loosened. Place the
height-adjustable and flexible hip belt on the
hip bone and close the hook and loop fastener.
For height adjustment, see Figure 2. Now
close the hip belt plug fastener and pull the
hip belt until it fits snugly.
Tighten the shoulder straps, making sure that
you tighten the backpack only until the padded
back section lies vertically and horizontally
centred against the back. The hip belt must
not move up from the hip.
Adjust the height-adjustable chest strap
such that it is above the chest. Close the plug
fastener of the chest strap and tighten it such
that the backpack fits as tightly and snugly as
possible on the back. Make sure that straps
and belts with buckles and plug fasteners are
closed and fit tightly to avoid getting caught on
something!
After each impact or fall, make sure that the backpack and the protector are fully functional.
Pay particular attention to ensure there is no mechanical damage to the protector, the straps and
belt, the seams and the plug fasteners. If in doubt, stop using the backpack and contact
EVOC Sports GmbH immediately. EVOC Sports GmbH can replace the protector after a fall.

CARE AND STORAGE
• Clean the backpack by hand with fresh water no hotter than 30°C.
• The care instructions are the same for protector and backpack. The protector must not be
removed from the backpack for cleaning.
• Only use gentle detergents (natural soap).
• Leave the backpack to air dry.
• Do not dry it mechanically or use mechanical heat sources.
• Please note that machine washing voids all warranty claims.
• Store the dry backpack in a cool, dry and dark place.
• Do not expose the backpack to UV radiation or moisture in the place of storage.
• Keep the backpack away from caustic or aggressive agents.
• Do not bend the protector and/or store it under load.
DISPOSAL
The backpack does not contain any hazardous or harmful substances. However, it is made from
various plastic composite materials which cannot be separated. Dispose of the backpack in
accordance with local regulations.
INFORMATION ON SERVICE LIFE | SPARE PARTS
Improper care, incorrect use or environmental influences have an effect on wear and tear and thus on
service life. Prolonged exposure to UV light, extreme temperatures or chemical contamination have a
particularly negative effect. It can have adverse effects on material quality, and the functionality of the
plug fasteners and hook and loop fasteners. Replace the backpack after 5 years of service life from
the date of purchase to guarantee its continued functionality. The date of manufacture of the protector
can be found on the back of the protector.

BENUTZUNGSEINSCHRÄNKUNGEN / AUSSCHLUSS
Der EVOC Rucksack mit integriertem Rückenprotektor ist ausschließlich für die im Absatz
„Zweck / Einsatzbereich“ beschriebenen Sportarten konzipiert und zertifiziert worden. Ausge-
nommen davon sind auch Veranstaltungen und Events im Extrembereich dieser Sportarten.
Dieser Rucksack ist nicht geeignet für andere als die genannten Sportarten, insbesondere nicht
für den Einsatz im Motorsport oder auf motorisierten Fahrzeugen wie z.B. Motorrädern, Schnee-
mobilen, Quads oder Ähnlichem.
Ein Schutz vor allen Verletzungen kann nicht gewährleistet werden. Dazu zählen Verdrehungen,
Überstreckungen oder Stauchungen, sowie Stauchungsbrüche der Wirbelsäule.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Der EVOC Rucksack mit integriertem Rückenprotektor kann eine mögliche, schwere Verletzung
durch Aufprall nur vermindern, wenn richtig angelegt und getragen wird. Bitte folgen Sie dazu
den Absatz „Korrekter Sitz | Rucksack anpassen”.
Es dürfen keine Veränderungen am Rucksack inklusive des Rückenprotektors vorgenommen
werden um die Schutzwirkung nicht zu beeinträchtigt.
Die Flexibilität des Protecktor ist durch die Materialeigenschaft in der Fläche sichergestellt
Jedoch sollte der Protektor nicht punktuell geknickt werden.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
ASSEMBLY | COMPONENTS
• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Rucksack nicht zu hoch oder zu tief auf dem Rücken sitzt. Ziehen sie
Schultergurte, Brust-gurt und Hüftgurt fest an.
• Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch, dass sämtliche Gurte, Schnallen und Steckschliessen fest
geschlossen sind.
• Seien sie sich bewusst, dass beim Mitführen von spitzen und/oder scharfen Gegenständen, wie z.B.
Messer, Schraubenzieher, Steigeisen, Werkzeug, Flaschen und anderen harten Gegenständen die
Schutzfunktion beeinträchtigt sein kann.
• Führen Sie keine Glasflaschen und explosionsgefährdete Gegenstände wie Gaskartuschen,
Druckbehälter o.ä. sowie leicht entzündliche und ätzende Flüssigkeiten im Rucksack mit.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sämtliche Gegenstände, die den Protektor beschädigen könnten,
nicht lose im Ruck- sack transportiert werden. Schützen Sie spitze und/oder scharfe Teile ange-
messen (Werkzeugtasche, Schutzhülle für Steigeisen, Etui für Messer etc.) und verpacken diese
vom Körper wegzeigend.
• Nehmen Sie beim Benutzen von Skiliften und ähnlichen Aufstiegshilfen den Rucksack vom Rücken,
bzw. achten Sie darauf, dass Sie beim Aussteigen und Verlassen des Liftes nicht mit dem Rucksack
hängen bleiben.
• Beachten Sie beim Benutzen des Rucksacks mit aufge-schnalltem Snowboard, Ski und / oder
Aufstiegshilfen, wie Schneeschuhen oder Kurz-Skiern, die deutlich sperrigeren Ausmaße sowie den
stark erhöhte Schwer-punkt, was zur Gefahr durch Hängenbleiben oder zu Gleichgewichtsverlust
führen kann.
• Beachten Sie, dass ein zu schwer beladener Rucksack sich möglicherweise negativ auf die Aus-
übung des Sports auswirken kann.
VERBINDUNG VON PROTEKTOR UND
RUCKSACK
Der EVOC Rucksack mit integriertem Rücken-
protektor ist eine fest miteinander verbundene
Einheit. Neun Verbindungspunkte halten
den Protektor und Rucksack zusammen und
schaffen somit eine feste Einheit. Alle Verbin-
dungselemente sind irrevesibel.

Der Austausch eines beschädigten Rücken-
protektors, im Zuge des „Free Airshield Crash

VOR JEDEM GEBRAUCH KONTROLLIEREN
Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch die Funktionstüchtigkeit des Rucksacks und des Protektors.
Beachten Sie hierzu folgende Vorgehensweise.
• Führen Sie eine Prüfung des Protektor auf mechanische Beschädigung durch und vergewis-
sern Sie sich, dass alle neun (9) Befestigungspunkte in Takt sind.
• Führen sie zusätzlich eine Zugprüfung an jeder der neun
Befestigungspunkte durch.
• Überprüfen Sie die Packweise des Rucksacks. Schwere Sachen platzieren Sie zu unterst und
so nahe, wie möglich am Körperschwerpunkt. Spitze oder scharfe Gegenstände verpacken
Sie zusätzlich und platzieren diese vom Körper wegzeigend.
• Testen Sie, ob der Inhalt ausreichend gesichert ist und nicht verrutscht.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Rucksack mit allen Steckschliessen und Reißverschlüssen
verschlossen ist und diese auch komplett funktionsfähig sind.
• Überprüfen sie alle Hauptnähte auf ihren einwandfreien Zustand.
• Überprüfen Sie gezielt die Annähpunkte der Schulter-und Hüftgurte auf ihre Zugfestigkeit.
• Überprüfen Sie alle Gurte auf Risse und andere strukturelle Beschädigungen.
Der Rückenprotektor bietet nur Schutz an den von ihm abgedeckten Bereichen gemäß der Norm
EN 1621-2:2014. Dieser Schutz ist nur gewährleistet, wenn sich der EVOC Rucksack mit
integriertem Rückenprotektor in der optimalen und vorgesehenen Position befindet.
KORREKTER SITZ | RUCKSACK ANPASSEN
Zur Höheneinstellung des Hüftgurtes greifen Sie
im unteren Drittel beidseitig unter den Protektor
und lösen den Klettverschluss. Justieren sie
die Höhe und drücken Sie anschliessend den
Klettverschluss wieder fest, sodass eine sichere
Verbindung entsteht und diese Position fixiert ist.
Schultern Sie bei gelockerten Schulter-, Brust-
und Hüftgurten den Rucksack auf. Platzieren Sie
den höhenverstellbaren und flexiblen Hüftgurt
eng anliegend auf den Hüftknochen und schlies-
sen Sie den Klettverschluss. Zur Höheneinstel-
lung folgen Sie Abbildung 2. Verschliessen Sie
nun die Hüftgurt Steckschliesse und ziehen den
Hüftgurt auf festen Sitz an.
Anschliessend ziehen Sie die Schultergurte an,
achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Rucksack nur
so fest anziehen bis das gepolsterte Rückenteil
vertikal und horizontal mittig auf dem Rücken
anliegen. Der Hüftgurt darf dabei nicht von der
Hüfte hochwandern.
Passen Sie den höhenverstellbaren Brustgurt
so an, dass er sich oberhalb der Brust befindet.
Schliessen Sie die Brustgurt Steckschliesse und
ziehen ihn fest an so dass der Rucksack so eng
und kompakt wie möglich am Rücken anliegt.
Achten Sie darauf das Gurte mit Schnallen und
Steckschlösser geschlossen sind und eng anlie-
gen, um ein Hängenbleiben zu vermeiden!
Überprüfen Sie nach jedem Aufprall oder Sturz die Funktionstüchtigkeit des Rucksacks und
des Protektors. Achten Sie insbesondere auf mechanische Beschädigungen des Protektors, der
Gurte, der Nähte und der Steckschliessen. Sollten sie Zweifel haben, bitte den Rucksack nicht
mehr verwenden und sofort EVOC Sports GmbH kontaktieren. Der Protektor kann nach einem
Sturz durch EVOC Sports GmbH ausgetauscht werden

PFLEGEN UND LAGERN
• Reinigen Sie den Rucksack per Hand mit Süsswasser bei max. 30°C.
• Für den Protektor gelten die selben Pflegehinweise, wie für den Rucksack. Dieser darf zur
Reinigung nicht vom Rucksack abgenommen werden.
• Verwenden Sie nur sanfte Reinigungsmittel (Neutralseife).
• Lassen Sie den Rucksack an der Luft trocknen.
• Verwenden Sie keine maschinelle Trocknung oder Wärmequellen.
• Seien Sie sich bewusst, dass durch eine maschinelle Waschung jeglicher Garantieanspruch
erlischt.
• Lagern Sie den trockenen Rucksack an einem kühlen, trockenen und dunklen Ort.
• Setzen Sie den Rucksack am Lagerort niemals einer UV-Strahlung oder Feuchtigkeit aus.
• Halten Sie den Rucksack von ätzenden oder aggressiven Mittel fern.
• Protektor nicht geknickt und/oder unter Last lagern.
ENTSORGEN
Der Rucksack beinhaltet keinerlei Gefahr- oder Schad-stoffe. Er besteht aus verschiedenen
Kunststoff-Verbund Materialien, die jedoch nicht getrennt werden können. Entsorgen Sie den
Rucksack entsprechend der örtlichen Bestimmungen.
HINWEISE ZUR LEBENSDAUER | ERSATZTEILE
Unsachgemäße Pflege, falscher Gebrauch oder Umwelteinflüsse wirken sich auf den Verschleiß
und somit auf die Lebensdauer aus. Dauerhafte UV-Lichteinwirkung, extreme Temperaturen
oder chemische Kontamination wirken sich besonders negativ aus. Beeinträchtigung der
Materialgüte, Funktionsstörungen der Steckschliessen und Klettverschlüsse können die Folge

La mochila EVOC con protector de espalda integrado ha sido desarrollada de forma exclusiva
para ir en bicicleta, bicicleta de montaña, hacer snowboard o esquiar.
Montar en bicicleta y en bicicleta de montaña, hacer snowboard y descender por terreno alpino
son tipos de deporte que conllevan riesgos. La mochila EVOC con protector dorsal integrado
sirve para disminuir una posible lesión grave debido al impacto en caso de sufrir una caída al
practicar estos deportes.
La mochila EVOC con protector dorsal integrado está diseñada para un rango de temperatura de
-20°C a +40°C.

LIMITACIONES DE USO/EXCLUSIÓN
La mochila EVOC con protector dorsal integrado se ha concebido y certificado de forma exclusiva
para los deportes descritos en el apartado «Objeto/Ámbito de aplicación». Quedan excluidos
de ello los eventos celebrados en el ámbito extremo de estos deportes. Esta mochila no es
apta para deportes distintos a los mencionados y, sobre todo, no es apta para su uso en los
deportes de motor o en vehículos motorizados como p.ej. motocicletas, motos de nieve, quads
o similares.
No se puede garantizar una protección contra todas las lesiones como, por ejemplo,
torsiones, sobreestiramientos o compresiones, así como fracturas por aplastamiento de la
columna vertebral.
INDICACIONES IMPORTANTES
La mochila EVOC con protector dorsal integrado solo puede atenuar una posible lesión grave
provocada por un impacto si el protector dorsal se encuentra correctamente insertado en el
compartimento previsto para ese fin. Para saber cómo hacerlo, consulte la sección «Ajuste
correcto | Adaptar la mochila».
No se deben realizar modificaciones en la mochila, incluido el protector dorsal, para no
contrarrestar el efecto protector.
Las propiedades del material de la superficie garantizan la flexibilidad del protector. Sin
embargo, el protector no debe doblarse.
INDICACIONES DE SEGURIDAD
ASSEMBLY | COMPONENTS
• Procure que la mochila no se asiente en la espalda ni demasiado arriba ni demasiado abajo.
Apriete bien las correas de hombro, la correa pectoral y la correa pélvica.
• Compruebe antes de cada uso que todos los cierres de velcro, correas, hebillas y cierres
enchufables estén correctamente cerrados.
• Recuerde que el transporte de objetos afilados o puntiagudos, como cuchillos,
destornilladores, crampones, herramientas, botellas u otros objetos duros pueden limitar el
efecto protector.
• No transporte en la mochila botellas de gas ni objetos con peligro de explosión tales como
cartuchos de gas, recipientes a presión, etc., ni tampoco líquidos fácilmente inflamables y
cáusticos.
•
Asegúrese de que los objetos que podrían dañar el protector no se transporten sueltos en
la mochila. Proteja los elementos puntiagudos o afilados de forma adecuada (funda para
herramientas, funda protectora para ganchos de trepar, funda para cuchillos, etc.) y colóquelos
de tal forma que no queden dirigidos hacia el cuerpo.
• Antes de hacer uso de los remontes de esquí u otros sistemas de ascensión, retírese
la mochila de la espalda y vigile que, al bajar o salir del remonte, la mochila no quede
enganchada.
• En caso de utilizar la mochila con el snowboard, los esquís o instrumentos de ascensión
atados, como raquetas o esquís cortos, tenga en cuenta que sus dimensiones cambiarán
considerablemente, y que el centro de gravedad estará más elevado, lo que puede provocar
enganchamientos o pérdidas de equilibrio.
• Tenga en cuenta que una mochila excesivamente cargada pueda repercutir negativamente en
el ejercicio deportivo.
UNIÓN ENTRE PROTECTOR Y MOCHILA
La mochila EVOC con protector integrado es
una unidad cuyos elementos están firmemente
acoplados. Gracias a los nuevos puntos de
unión que acoplan el protector y la mochila,
se obtiene una unidad sólida. Todos los
elementos de unión son irreversibles.

CONTROLAR ANTES DE CADA USO
Compruebe, antes de cada uso, la funcionalidad de la mochila y del protector. A este respecto,
observe el siguiente procedimiento.
• Compruebe que el protector no presenta daños mecánicos y asegúrese de que los nueve (9)
puntos de fijación estén correctamente colocados.
• Realice una comprobación adicional de cada uno de los nueve puntos de fijación.
• Compruebe el empaquetado de la mochila. Coloque los objetos pesados en la parte inferior,
tan cerca como sea posible del centro de gravedad del cuerpo. Utilice un recubrimiento
adicional para los objetos puntiagudos o afilados y colóquelos de tal forma que no estén
dirigidos hacia el cuerpo.
• Compruebe que el contenido está debidamente asegurado y que no resbala.
• Asegúrese de que la mochila esté cerrada mediante todos los cierres por hebilla y
cremalleras y que dichos elementos estén completamente funcionales.
• Compruebe que todas las costuras principales estén en un estado impecable.
• Compruebe la resistencia a la tracción de cada una de las costuras de fijación de las correas
de hombro y pélvica.
• Compruebe todas las correas con respecto a grietas y otros daños estructurales.
El protector dorsal solo ofrece protección en las zonas que llega a cubrir, de conformidad con la
norma EN 1621-2:2014. Esta protección solamente queda garantizada si la mochila EVOC con
protector dorsal integrado se encuentra en la posición óptima prevista.
AJUSTE CORRECTO | ADAPTAR LA MOCHILA
Para ajustar la altura de la correa pélvica,
despegue el velcro situado a ambos lados
en el tercio inferior, por debajo del protector.
Ajuste la altura y vuelva a pegar el velcro con
firmeza, de manera que la unión sea segura y
la posición quede fijada.
Colóquese la mochila con las correas de
hombro, pectoral y pélvica aflojadas. Posicione
la correa pélvica flexible y regulable en altura
de forma ceñida en los huesos pélvicos y
ciérrela por medio de la cinta de velcro. Para
regular la altura, vea la figura 2. Ahora, cierre
el cierre de hebilla de la correa pélvica y
apriete bien la correa.
A continuación, apriete las correas de hombro
prestando atención a apretar la mochila solo
de tal forma que la parte posterior acolchada
se apoye en los planos vertical y horizontal en
el centro de la espalda. La correa pélvica no
debe desplazarse por encima de la cadera.
Adapte la correa pectoral ajustable en altura
de tal forma que se posicione por encima del
pecho. Cierre la hebilla de la correa pélvica
y apriétela bien, de manera que la mochila
quede tan cerca de la espalda como sea
posible. Asegúrese de que las correas con
hebillas y cierres están cerradas y ceñidas
debidamente, a fin de evitar enganches.
Compruebe, después de cada golpe o caída, la funcionalidad de la mochila y del protector. Preste
especial anterior a los daños mecánicos del protector, de las correas, de las costuras y de los
cierres. Si tiene alguna duda, no continúe usando la mochila y póngase en contacto de inmediato
con EVOC Sports GmbH. EVOC Sports GmbH puede sustituir el protector tras una caída.

CONSERVACIÓN Y ALMACENAMIENTO
• Limpie la mochila a mano y con agua dulce a, como máximo, 30°C.
• Las instrucciones de conservación de la mochila también son aplicables al protector.
El protector no debe separarse de la mochila para su limpieza.
• Utilice únicamente detergentes suaves (jabón neutral).
• Deje secar la mochila al aire.
• No la seque en secadora automática ni mediante fuentes de calor.
• Tenga en cuenta que, al lavar la mochila en la lavadora, expira cualquier derecho de garantía.
• Almacene la mochila seca en un lugar fresco, seco y oscuro.
• En el lugar de almacenamiento, no exponga la mochila a la radiación UV o a la humedad
bajo ningún concepto.
• Mantenga alejada la mochila de medios cáusticos o agresivos.
• No almacenar el protector doblado ni ponerle cargas encima.
ELIMINACIÓN
La mochila no contiene sustancias peligrosas o nocivas. Se compone de diferentes materiales
de compuestos plásticos que, sin embargo, no se pueden separar. Elimine la mochila de acuerdo
con las disposiciones locales.
INDICACIONES RELATIVAS A LA VIDA ÚTIL | PIEZAS DE RECAMBIO
Una conservación inadecuada, un uso erróneo o las influencias medioambientales influyen en el
desgaste y, con ello, en la vida útil. La actuación duradera de la luz, las temperaturas extremas
o la contaminación química tienen efectos especialmente negativos. La consecuencia puede ser
un perjuicio de la calidad del material, un mal funcionamiento de los cierres por hebilla y de los
cierres de velcro. Sustituya la mochila después de una vida útil de 5 años a partir de la fecha
de compra para garantizar una funcionalidad constante. Encontrará la fecha de fabricación del
protector en la parte posterior del mismo.

RESTRICTIONS D’UTILISATION / EXCLUSION
Le sac à dos EVOC à protection dorsale intégrée a été exclusivement conçu et certifié pour les
sports décrits à la rubrique «Objectif / Domaine d’utilisation ». Y font exception aussi les mani-
festations et événements où sont pratiquées des formes extrêmes de ces sports. Ce sac à dos
n’est pas fait pour d’autres sports que ceux mentionnés, notamment pour le sport automobile ou
sur des véhicules motorisés tels que les motos, motoneiges, quads ou similaires.
Une protection contre tous les types de blessures ne peut pas être garantie. Parmi elles
figurent les torsions, distensions ou entorses, ainsi que les fractures sur tassement de la
colonne vertébrale.
REMARQUES IMPORTANTES
Le sac à dos EVOC à protection dorsale intégrée ne peut réduire la gravité potentielle d’une
blessure par impact que s’il a été correctement enfilé et s’il est correctement porté. Merci de
vous reporter à ce sujet à la rubrique «Position correcte | Ajuster le sac à dos ».
Il ne faut apporter aucune modification au sac à dos, ycompris à sa protection dorsale, ceci afin
de ne pas compromettre l’effet protecteur.
La flexibilité de la surface de la protection dorsale est assurée par les propriétés de son maté-
riau constitutif. Toutefois, il ne faut soumettre la protection dorsale à aucun effort de pliage.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
STRUCTURE | COMPOSANTS
• Veillez à ce que le sac à dos n’applique ni trop haut ni trop bas contre le dos. Serrez bien les
bretelles, la sangle de poitrine et la ceinture.
•
Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez que les bretelles, la sangle et la ceinture, les boucles et les
fermoirs sont bien fermés.
• Rappelez-vous toujours que si vous faites suivre des objets pointus et/ou tranchants dont par
ex. des couteaux, tournevis, crampons, outils, bouteilles et d’autres objets durs, la fonction
protectrice risque d’être compromise.
• Ne faites suivre dans le sac à dos ni bouteilles de gaz ni objets à risque d’explosion tels
que des cartouches de gaz, récipients sous pression ou similaires, ainsi que des liquides
inflammables et corrosifs.
• Assurez-vous que tous les objets susceptibles d’endommager la protection dorsale ne soient
pas transportés en vrac dans le sac à dos. Protégez raisonnablement les objets pointus et/
ou tranchants (trousse à outils, gaine protectrice pour les crampons, étui à couteau, etc.) et
emballez-les de sorte qu’ils pointent en direction opposée de celle du corps.
• Lorsque vous utilisez des télésièges et autres remonte-pentes similaires, retirez le sac à dos
du dos et veillez bien à ne pas rester accroché par le sac à dos lorsque vous descendez du
télésiège et le quittez.

Lors de l’utilisation du sac à dos avec snowboard, skis et/ou accessoires de montée attachés
dessus tels que des chaussures de neige ou des skis cours, souvenez-vous que l’ensemble
est nettement plus encombrant et le centre de gravité beaucoup plus haut, ce qui engendre un
risque de rester accroché ou de perdre l’équilibre.
• Souvenez-vous également qu’un sac à dos lourdement chargé peut avoir des répercussions
négatives sur la pratique du sport.

intégrée sont fermement reliés pour former
une unité. Neuf points de fixation maintiennent
retiennent la protection dorsale et le sac à dos

À CONTRÔLER AVANT CHAQUE UTILISATION
Avant chaque utilisation, contrôlez le bon fonctionnement du sac à dos et de la protection dor-
sale. Respectez ce faisant la procédure suivante.
• Contrôlez si la protection dorsale présente des dégâts mécaniques et assurez-vous que les
neuf (9) points de fixation sont intacts.
• Soumettez en plus chacun des neufs points de fixation à un effort de traction.
• Vérifiez l’ordre de rangement dans le sac à dos. Commencez par placer les objets lourds
complètement en bas et aussi près que possible du centre de gravité du corps. Mettez les
objets pointus et tranchants dans un emballage supplémentaire et placez-les de sorte qu’ils
pointent en direction opposée de celle du corps.
• Vérifiez si le contenu est suffisamment sécurisé et qu’il ne glisse pas.
• Assurez-vous que le sac à dos est fermé au moyen de tous ses fermoirs et fermetures à
glissière, et que ces éléments sont tous fonctionnels.
• Vérifiez que toutes les coutures principales sont en parfait état.
• Vérifiez de manière ciblée si les coutures de raccordement des bretelles et de la ceinture
résistent bien à un effort de traction.
• Vérifiez si les bretelles, sangles et la ceinture présentent des déchirures et d’autres dom-
mages structurels.
La protection dorsale ne protège que les zones qu’elle recouvre conformément à la norme
EN 1621-2:2014. Cette protection n’est garantie que si le sac à dos EVOC à protection dorsale
intégrée se trouve sur la position optimale prévue.
POSITION CORRECTE | AJUSTER LE SAC À DOS
Pour régler la ceinture en hauteur, introduisez
les mains des deux côtés sous la protection
dorsale et détachez l’attache Velcro. Ajustez
la hauteur et réappuyez ensuite fermement
sur l’attache Velcro afin d’obtenir une jonction
sûre et que la position soit maintenue.
Enfilez le sac à dos après avoir desserré les
bretelles, la sangle de poitrine et la ceinture.
Placez la ceinture réglable en hauteur et
flexible de manière bien moulante contre l’os
iliaque puis fermez l’attache Velcro. Pour le
réglage en hauteur, opérez comme illustré
sur la figure 2. Refermez ensuite le fermoir
de la ceinture et serrez cette dernière jusqu’à
obtenir une assise ferme.
Serrez ensuite les bretelles, veillez à serrer
le sac à dos que ce qu’il faut pour que la pro-
tection dorsale rembourrée applique centrée
verticalement et horizontalement sur le dos.
Ce faisant, la ceinture ne doit pas glisser vers
le haut depuis les hanches.
Ajustez la sangle de poitrine réglable en hau-
teur de sorte qu’elle se trouve au-dessus de
la poitrine. Refermez le fermoir de la sangle
de poitrine et tendez cette dernière afin que le
sac à dos «colle » contre le dos de manière
aussi étroite et compacte que possible.
Vérifiez que les bretelles, la sangle et la
ceinture à boucles et fermoirs emboîtables
soient fermés et «collent » au corps pour les
empêcher de rester accrochées !
Après chaque impact ou chute, vérifiez le bon fonctionnement du sac à dos et de la protection
dorsale. Vérifiez notamment que la protection dorsale, les bretelles, la sangle et la ceinture,
les coutures et les fermoirs ne présentent pas de détériorations mécaniques. En cas de doute,
n’utilisez plus le sac à dos et contactez immédiatement EVOC Sports GmbH. Après une chute, la
protection dorsale peut être remplacée par EVOC Sports GmbH.
