GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions before using this mitre
saw stand. Do not modify or use this stand for any
purpose other than that for which it was designed.
• Keep work area clear of obstructions and well
ventilated. Clutter makes accidents more likely.
• Consider the work area environment. Do not
use power tools in damp or wet conditions. Keep
the work area well lit.
Do not use power tools in the presence
of ammable liquids or gases.
• Keep children and bystanders away. Visitors
are a distraction and are dicult to protect and
are unlikely to have any knowledge of safety
procedures.
• Store idle equipment. Preferably in a locked dry
cupboard.
• Safety Glasses. Approved safety glasses should
be worn by the operator and any assistants when
using a mitre saw.
• Stay alert. A moments inattention when
operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury. Do not use if tired or under the
inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times.
STAND-SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• For maximum stability use the mitre stand only on
a at, level surface.
• Be careful when raising or lowering the stand to
prevent trapped ngers or hands.
• Ensure that the snap buttons on each leg are in
the locked position. This will ensure that the stand
remains rigid during cutting operations.
• Do not step or climb on the stand.
• Before operation ensure that the mitre saw
is securely fastened to the stand to prevent
unwanted movement of the saw.
• Ensure that the material supports are locked in
place before use.
• Do not overload the side extension arms.
• Do not use if the stand becomes damaged
in any way.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
ATTACHING THE HANDLE
Place the screws through the holes in the handle and
secure onto the end of the stand. (g.1)
DEPLOYING THE LEGS
Note: It is much easier to set up or knock down
the stand without a saw being attached.
• Squeeze the leg locking lever
(Fig. 2) to release the locking pin and deploy the
leg. Repeat on all 4 legs.
ATTACHING WORK SUPPORT ARMS

Screw the locking knobs in place to secure the
guide rails on each side. (Fig. 3)
• Slide the work support brackets onto the
extension arms and lock in place with a locking
knob (Fig. 4)
• Insert the work support post into the bracket and
lock in place using a locking knob. (Fig. 5)
ATTACHING THE WHEELS
Place the wheel onto the axle and secure with the
appropriate xings (Fig.6)
For Normal Cutting Operations:
• The top of the post(s) should be level with the
surface of the mitre Saw’s rotary table.
• The extension arm(s) should be positioned be
give maximum support to the workpiece.
For Repetitive Cutting Operations:
• The ‘stop face’ (Fig.X) can be raised to act as a
workpiece stop at the required distance from the
saw blade.
• Loosen the locking knob and raise the stop face
to its highest position (Fig.XX), then tighten the
locking knob. (Fig.XXX)
• The required work support should be adjusted so
that the ‘stop shelf’ (Fig. X) is level with the mitre
saw rotary table and is facing the saw.
• Adjust the relevant extension arm until the ‘stop
face’ is at the required distance.
