System Function
System Function Description
The ES2 Stream 2 system is designed to wirelessly transmit audio source signal
from one location to a dedicated wireless audio amplier. The audio amplier is then
connected to any general purpose loudspeaker.
The ES2 Stream 2 Transmitter is a high performance device that converts the
incoming analog line level signal to a digital format that is then broadcast over the 2.4
GHz spectrum. The radio frequency broadcast is digital, uncompressed, CD quality
data. The broadcast signal is uniquely formatted so that any ES2 Stream 2 Receiver
can receive and convert into useful audio output.
The ES2 Stream 2 All Digital Wireless™ (ADW) Amplier is an integrated ES2 Stream
2 Receiver and All Digital Amplier™ system that is designed to link to the ES2 Stream
2 Transmitter, receive the digital audio broadcast and convert it to a signal that drives
a local speaker.
The ES2 ADW Amplier is readily congured to drive a pair of speakers in Stereo
mode - Left and Right, or in a Bi-Amp mode - both output channels are congured
Left and Left, or Right and Right and in Mono mode - both output channels are
summed for Mono and Mono output.
Both the ES2 Transmitter and ADW Amplier are equipped to operate with 3 different
Housecodes. Each Housecode is a unique formatting of the broadcast digital data so
that components operating and linked on one Housecode will not receive or interfere
with other ES2 components operating on a different Housecode.
The multiple Housecodes permits operation of up to three different zones within
the same RF broadcast area.
FEATURES
• Lossless, Uncompressed, CD quality streaming audio network, sample
rate 48 kHz.
• Dedicated 2.4 GHz streaming audio network, not interfered with by
WiFi networks or other 2.4 GHz devices such as cordless phones
and microwaves.
• Simple to set-up, plug and play
• No time delay or data drops
• Unlimited linking of ES2 Stream 2 ADW Ampliers to each ES2 Transmitter

Troubleshooting
No wireless connection
1. Make sure both the transmitter and amplier are operating on the same
house code.
2. Make sure receiver is within the broadcast range of the transmitter.
Wireless Connection, but no sound
1. Make sure the audio source is properly connected, analog line level L/R
(1 Vrms max)
2. Verify Transmitter and Amplier are operating on the same House Code.

Operational Congurations
Stereo - Basic Set-up, connect to appropriate line level analog source.
Hi-Fi Mono Block
Use 1 ES2 ADW amplier on each monitor, see Bi-Amp set-up instruction. Program
the Left monitor amplier to operate in the “LEFT” mode, see Programming section.
Program the Right monitor amplier to operate in the “RIGHT” mode.
Wireless link Surround Back Channels of Home Theater System - Connect ES2 Stream
2 Transmitter to the Pre-Amp output for the Surround L/R. A second Transmitter
can be connected to the Surround Rear L/R channels as well by using a different
Housecode on the Transmitter and Amplier, See Multi-Zone Set-Up section.
Commercial/Distributed
Connect the ES2 Stream 2 Transmitter to the desired analog line level source.
Program each ES2 ADW Amplier to operate in the MONO/MONO mode. This will
enable a fully expandable sound system to operate within range of the Transmitter.
Multi Zone
The ES2 Stream 2 system permits up to 3 unique zones within a common RF
coverage area, see Creating Multiple Zones section.
Creating Multiple Zones
ES2 Stream 2 System is capable of supporting three independent audio networks
within a common broadcast zone. Thus three different audio sources can be utilized
in the same common area. The Stream 2 ADW Ampliers can be selected to link with
any of the three sources.
The default setting is both the Stream 2 Transmitter and ADW Amplier is in House
Code 1. Changing the House Code is accomplished through the “LINK” button
located on the bottom of the ES2 Transmitter and ADW Amplier. Pressing the “LINK”
button sequentially steps the House Code with each press:
HINT:
If setting up single transmitter, amplier pair, establish power on link. Then step the
house codes on both the transmitter and amplier, re-establishing the link with each
press.
If setting up single transmitter to multiple ampliers, step the transmitter to the desired
house code. then step each amplier until it has established a link with transmitter.
