2. Overview GhosT-OLED Series
2.1 Introduction
Displays from GhosT-OLED series are transparent OLED (T-OLED) screens with Full-HD
resolution. The transmittance of the screen is approx. 38%. Thanks to OLED (Organic Light
Emitting Diode) technology, the display shows excellent images even at high viewing angles
and has low power consumption. The transparency is achieved by adding a fifth segment
into the sub pixel structure which consists of four sub pixel emitting red, green, blue and
white light. This fifth segment is transparent. As OLED is a self-emitting technology, there is,
unlike to LCDs, no need for backlight. Displaying black content on a transparent OLED display
will make this content appear transparent.
Optionally, the GhosT-OLED Full Kit or Half Kit, can be equipped with the GhosT-OLED Touch
Kit. The Touch Kit technology is based on IR diodes.
Furthermore the GhosT-OLED PCAP version completes the series and provides an accurate
and bezel-less touch functionality. It is available as Full Kit or Half Kit version.
GhosT-OLED series can be delivered with white or black housing.
The GhosT-OLED series is based on a customisable design concept. Trained personnel can
change the orientation of the foot from table mode to straight mode.
2.2 GhosT-OLED Half Kit
The GhosT-OLED Half Kit is the ideal product for fix installations. It makes installations of the
raw LG T-OLED Panel a lot easier and safer. This is achieved by adding additional parts to the
panel. The LG Signage Box needs to be connected via four flexible flat cables to the panel.
For further information how to connect please refer to chapter 4.5 Connecting GhosT-OLED
Half Kit and Half Kit PCAP panel unit with signage box as well as to the “LG 55EW5F-A Quick set-
up guide”and the “Installation Manual GhosT HK” which is enclosed to the Ghost-OLED Half
Kit packing.

2.3 GhosT-OLED Full Kit
GhosT-OLED Full Kit combines all electronics and the T-OLED panel to one display. It is ideal
for rental applications but also for many fix installations. The orientation of the foot can be
changed by qualified personnel from table mode to straight mode and back. Please refer to
chapter 4.3 Changing the foot orientation of GhosT-OLED Full Kit and to the “Installation
