4) Powertooluseandcare
a) Donotforcethepowertool.Usethecorrectpowertoolforyour
application. Thecorrectpowertoolwilldothejobbetterandsaferat
therateforwhichitwasdesigned.
b) Donotusethepowertooliftheswitchdoesnotturnitonandoff.
Anypowertoolthatcannotbecontrolledwiththeswitchisdangerous
andmustberepaired.
c) Disconnecttheplugfromthepowersourceand/orremovethe
batterypack,ifdetachable,fromthepowertoolbeforemaking
anyadjustments,changingaccessories,orstoringpowertools.
Suchpreventivesafetymeasuresreducetheriskofstartingthepower
toolaccidentally.
d) Storeidlepowertoolsoutofthereachofchildrenanddonot
allowpersonsunfamiliarwiththepowertoolortheseinstructions
tooperatethepowertool. Powertoolsaredangerousinthehandsof
untrainedusers.
e) Maintainpowertoolsandaccessories.Checkformisalignmentor

5) Batterytooluseandcare
a) Rechargeonlywiththechargerspecifiedbythemanufacturer. A
chargerthatissuitableforonetypeofbatterypackmaycreatearisk
offirewhenusedwithanotherbatterypack.
b) Usepowertoolsonlywithspecificallydesignatedbatterypacks.
Useofanyotherbatterypacksmaycreateariskofinjuryandfire.
c) Whenbatterypackisnotinuse,keepitawayfromothermetal
objectslikepaperclips,coins,keys,nails,screws,orother
smallmetalobjects,thatcanmakeaconnectionfromone
terminaltoanother. Shortingthebatteryterminalstogethermay
causeburnsorafire.
d) Underabusiveconditions,liquidmaybeejectedfromthebattery;
avoidcontact.Ifcontactaccidentallyoccurs,flushwithwater.If
liquidcontactseyes,additionallyseekmedicalhelp. Liquid
ejectedfromthebatterymaycauseirritationorburns.
e) Donotuseabatterypackortoolthatisdamagedormodified.
Damagedormodifiedbatteriesmayexhibitunpredictablebehaviour
resultinginfire,explosionorriskofinjury.
f) Donotexposeabatterypackortooltofireorexcessive
temperature. Exposuretofireortemperatureabove130 °Cmay
causeexplosion.
g) Followallcharginginstructionsanddonotchargethebattery
packortooloutsidethetemperaturerangespecifiedinthe
instructions. Chargingimproperlyorattemperaturesoutsidethe
specifiedrangemaydamagethebatteryandincreasetheriskoffire.
6) Service
a) Haveyourpowertoolservicedbyaqualifiedrepairperson

b) Neverservicedamagedbatterypacks. Serviceofbatterypacks

Sawbladesmustbekeptsharpandingoodcondition.Replacepartially
fracturedandbrokensawbladesimmediately.
Workcalmlyandevenlywiththejigsaw.Youwillthusavoidaccidentsandthe
sawbladesandthejigsawwilllastlonger.
Donotuseforcuttingpipesorcables.
Donotusecracked,bluntordamagedblades.

withalivewire.Thereforeonlyholdthesawbyitsinsulatedhandle.
Checkthattheventilationslotsarenotblocked.
Neverremovedust,obstructionsorthelikefromtheworkareawhiletheblade
isoperating.
Neverstopthesawbladebyapplyingpressuretothesawortothesideofthe
blade.
Donotliftthesawfromtheitembeingcutifthebladeisstillrunning.
Neverplacethesawonatableorworkbenchifithasnotstoppedcompletely.
Thesawbladewillcontinuetorunashorttimeafterthemachinehasbeen
switchedoff.

EXTRASAFETYREGULATIONSCONCERNING
BATTERY
Toensurethelongestbatterylifeandbestbatteryperformance,alwayscharge
thebatterywhenthetemperatureisbetween18-24°C.Donotchargethe
batterypackwhenthetemperatureisbelow0°C,orabove40°C.Thisis
important.Failuretoobservethissafetyrulecouldcauseseriousdamageto
thebatterypack.
Donotincineratethebatterypackevenifitisseriouslydamagedorcanno
longerholdacharge.Thebatterypackcanexplodeinafire.
Asmallleakageofliquidfromthebatterypackmayoccurunderextreme
usageortemperature.Thisdoesnotnecessarilyindicateafailureofthe
batterypack.However,iftheoutersealisbrokenandthisleakagecomesinto
contactwithyourskin:
üWashtheaffectedareaquicklywithsoapandwater.
üFlushyoureyeswithcleanwaterforaminimumof10minutesandseek
immediatemedicalattention.
Neverattempttoopenthebatterypackforanyreason.Iftheplastichousingof
thebatterypackbreaksopenorcracks,immediatelydiscontinueitsuseand
donotrechargeit.
Donotstoreorcarryasparebatterypackinapocketortoolboxoranyother
placewhereitmaycomeintocontactwithmetalobjects.Thebatterypackmay

Allowthebatterypacktocooldownaftercharging.Donotplaceitinahot
environmentsuchasametalshedoropentrailerleftinthesun.
Onlychargethebatterywiththechargersupplied.
Donotputthebatterypacknearfireorhightemperatureposition.
Donotsplashorimmerseinwaterorotherliquids.Thismaycausepremature
cellfailure.
Whentransportingindividualbatteries,makesurethatthebatteryterminals
areprotectedandwellinsulatedfrommaterialsthatcouldcontactthemand
causeashortcircuit.

REPLACINGSAWBLADES
Disconnectthebatterypackfromthecordlessjigsaw.
•Pulltheleverofquick-changebladeclampingholder.
•Slidethesawbladeintothelocatinggroovewithteethpointingforward.Make
surethatthebackedgeofthebladefitsintothebladeclampingholderand
thenreleasetheleverofquick-changebladeclampingholder.
NOTE:Makesurethatthebackofthesawbladeengagesintheslotofthe
guideroller.
•Mountingbatterypackontojigsaw’sbodyandrunssmoothlybeforeusingit
tocutanymaterials.
ANGLECUTTINGADJUSTMENT
•Thebaseplatecanbeadjusted45°(leftorright)inrelationtothesaw
directiontofacilitatecontoursawing.
•Pushthelockleverandloosenit,adjustthesoleplatetothedesiredangle
andresetthelocklever.
•Anglesettingcanbeseenonscaleontopofthesoleplate.
SWITCHONANDOFF
•Connectthebatterypacktothecordlessjigsawandensureitfirmly.
•Toswitchonthejigsaw,pushthelockbuttontoleftorrightasthearrows
shownandpresstheON/OFFswitchtrigger
•Whenyoureleasetheswitchtrigger,thetoolturnsoff.
ADJUSTINGTHEPENDULUMREGULATIONKNOB
Thisjigsawisequippedwithfourcuttingactions,onestraightandthreeorbital.
Orbitalactionhasamoreaggressiveblademotionandisdesignedforcutting
insoftmaterialslikewoodorplastic.Orbitalactionprovidesfastercut,butwith
aroughercutacrossthematerial.Inorbitalaction,theblademovesforward
duringthecuttingstrokeinadditiontotheupanddownmotion.
Note: Metalorhardwoodsshouldneverbecutinorbitalaction.
Toadjustthecuttingaction,movestheorbitalswitchknobbetweenthefour
cuttingpositions:0,I,II,andIII.

Position0isthestraightcutting.PositionsI,IIandIIIareorbitalcutting.The
aggressivenessofthecutincreaseastheknobismovedfromonetothree,
withthreebeingthemostaggressivecut.
LEDWORKLIGHT
TheLEDworklightcanlightifyouturnthetoolon,whichkeeptheworkareato
belightedforcheckingclearlyatfirst,anditlightsalsoduringyouroperation.
WARNING:Donotstaredirectlyatthelightbeam.Neveraimthebeamatany
personoranobjectotherthantheworkpiece.
Donotdeliberatelyaimthebeamatpersonnelandensurethatitisnotdirected
towardstheeyeofapersonforlongerthan0.25s.
OPERATION
Neveruseabladeunsuitableforthetaskanditemtobecut.
Holdthesawinfrontofyouwithafirmgriponthehandle.Ensurethatthesaw
bladeisnottouchinganythingwhenstartingthesaw.Makesurethattheitem
isclampedtight,andthatthesawlineisclearlymarked.Connectthevacuum
extractornozzletoanextractorsystemwherepossible.
STARTTHESAW
Placethesoleplateontheitem,andletthesawbladetouchthesawline.Saw,
butdonotplacemorepressureonthebladethanisnecessary.Avoidlateral
pressureontheblade.
SPECIALNOTESONJIGSAWING
Placethebaseontheitemsothesawbladeisverticalandcorrectlypositioned
