Congratulations on the purchase of your LED Ladderlite!
The LED Ladderlite has been designed specifically for people with special needs
and should, if used in accordance with these guidelines offer years of switching
learning and fun!
The LED Ladderlite offers endless opportunities to develop numerous skills
including vocalisation, colour recognition, cause and effect and many more.
The LED Ladderlite is controlled by sound through its integral microphone or
external microphone (supplied).
It utilises the latest LED technology to ensure consistently bright lighting and
there is no requirement to change a lamp.
Please ensure you read and follow these Instructions carefully before
operating the unit. Please keep this manual for future reference.

Getting Started
1. Securely mount the LED Ladderlite on a wall using an experienced
electrician or competent handyman.
2. Connect the round XLR connector from the Low Voltage transformer to
the socket on the side of the unit.
3. Connect the standard 3 pin plug to a mains outlet.
4. The LED Ladderlite is now ready to use.
5. Press the mode select button to choose the program required. The mode
number can be seen on the LED display.
6. Adjust the sensitivity to suit a person’s voice/sound when using a sound
activated mode.
7. Adjust the speed control to increase/decrease the speed that the colours
change when using the automatic modes.
Please note: Only use the transformer supplied. Use of a different
transformer may result in damage to the product and void the warranty.

Additional Notes
An external microphone can be connected via the ¼ inch jack socket located on
the front of the LED Ladderlite.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The LED Ladderlite should be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. A non abrasive
cleaning agent may be used for stubborn stains. NO LIQUID MUST ENTER THE
LED LADDERLITE.
The LED Ladderlite has been designed for use by people with special needs,
however this does NOT mean it is unbreakable. Every care must be taken to
ensure the LED Ladderlite is not hit with anything and that the LED Ladderlite is
not pushed or pulled.

Modes of Operation
There are 8 modes of operation, selected by pressing the mode button and
identified on the LED display available, as follows:
1. Automatic Mode –the light appears one section at a time working from the
left to the right.
2. Automatic Mode –the light appears one section at a time starting from the
left building to the right until all lights are illuminated. The lights then go
out one section at a time working back from the right to left.
3. Automatic Mode –the light appears one section at a time starting from
both sides working towards the centre and back out again.
4. Sound to light –whenever a sound is heard a light appears on the Fanlight
in a random manner.
5. Sound to light –the lights build up depending on the volume one section
at a time. The lights pause at the top then go back down and the lights
cease to display unless a further sound is heard.
6. Sound to light –the light builds up depending on volume numerous
sections at a time. The lights pause at the top then go back down and the
lights cease to display unless a further sound is heard.
7. Sound to light –light sections from the outside of the LED Ladderlite
illuminate when sound is heard. When no sound is heard the lights will go
out slowly moving outward.
8. Sound to light –light sections from the inside of the LED Ladderlite
illuminate when sound is heard. When no sound is heard the lights will go
out slowly moving inward.
