Safety precautions
Do not put any inflammable substances such as
organic solvent in the chamber. Also, due to its
features and characteristics, some parts of the
product are subjected to high temperature.
Touching these parts while the unit is running
may cause you physical injury.
However, if you know proper information before
use, you can avoid almost all these troubles.
Therefore, this manual categorizes the level of
Importance and danger as below with alert mark and
signal word.
Please follow the instructions and use the product
safely.

Though we are trying to look into conceivable risk of using the product, it is very difficult for us
to expect of all of it. It means that all the instructions in this manual do not cover all the types
of risk that may caused by the product. However, if you follow the instructions, you surely can
handle and operate the product safely. Please use extreme care when handling the product
and to prevent all the potential accidents and mechanical failures.

Since this product is not designed with exposion-proof structure,
use extreme caution when handling it.
Do not put any inflammable substance such
as organic solvent
When using the unit in high temperature, sample in the chamber
may evaporate and catch some ignition source, and cause a fire
or explosion. Explosive substances are nitric ester, nitro
compound. Inflammable substances are acyl salt, inorganic
peroxide, nitrate salt and organic solvent.
This product is not designed with explosion-proof structure.

This product is a low temperature incubator that is
used for hypothermic incubation of microorganism
and plant, environmental test, constant-temperature
test and hypothermic preservation.

When performing Int.operation, intermittent operation will be conducted automatically
while setting temperature is 50℃or lower.
Interval defrost lamp Lights up when Int. operation(auto defrosting operation)is selected.
Blower switch ※7Turns on and off the blower in the chamber.
If you turn the switch on 「Flow」side, blower starts working, and if you turn it on
「Stop」side, the blower stops working.

Because the control condition differs depending on the status of the blower, the unit calibrates the
temperature automatically.

3-2.Stationary operation and timer mode
Timer mode is available in stationary operation
depending on the purpose of use. Input the setting on
control panel. Even half way of the operation, setting
temperature, time mode can be changed.
For more details about setting, please refer to
"Setting, running and stopping stationary operation"
on page 28 and "Setting, running and stopping timer
mode" on page 30.

1. Stationary operation
If you set the temperature and start running the
unit, it performs continuous operation at the setting
temperature. Pressing [Run/Stop]key can start
and stop the operation.
※Range of temperature setting :4.0℃〜60.0℃
1. Auto stop mode
If you set the time(t)and start running the unit,
it performs stationary operation for setting time after
reaching at the setting temperature (setting value for
stationary operation). After elapsing the time, it
stops controlling automatically.
2.. Auto start mode
If you set the time (t) and start operation, the
unit performs stationary operation after elapsing
the time.
Timer mode
Constant number operation can be started and stopped
at the setting time of timer. Three types of timer modes are
available,
which are auto stop, auto start and 1-step operation.
Also, 24-hour cycle operation mode is available.

Range of setting time for timer: 0hr.00min.〜99hrs.59min.
※2. 24-hour cycle operation
Range of setting time for timer: 0hr.00min.〜23hrs.59min.
※Each time you press the key, timer mode changes in
order as below;

3. 1-step operation mode
After reaching at the setting temperature (T1),
the unit performs stationary operation at preset
temperature (T2) after running for setting time
(t).

Following 7 adjustment functions are available;
Calibrating displayed temperature, upper temperature limit alarm, lower temperature
limit alarm, power recovery, buzzer setting, setting timer for total operation hours,
resetting displayed total operation hours.
1. Calibrating displayed temperature
Measured temperature can be calibrated to the value of standard
temperature gauge.
※Range of setting value:-20.0℃〜20.0℃
Default setting:0.0℃
※Due to the characteristics of the product, there's a difference between
measured temperature and the temperature in the chamber.
If you would like to combine the measured temperature and the temperature
in the chamber, set the value after measuring the value of standard
temperature gauge or please refer to "How to operate the functions of
"Calibrating displayed temperature" on page 41.
2. Upper temperature limit alarm
Setting value for upper temperature limit alarm can be changed.
※Setting range of upper temperature limit alarm:0.0℃〜30.0℃
Factory default:5.0℃
3. Lower temperature limit alarm
Setting value for lower temperature limit alarm can be changed.
※Setting range of lower temperature limit alarm:0.0℃〜30.0℃
Factory default:5.0℃
4. Power recovery
Operations after power recovery can be selected.
※Selectable items after power recovery
cont :The unit will be controlled after power recovery.
oFF :The unit won't be controlled after power recovery.
on :The unit will be controlled after power recovery.
If the unit is operated in timer mode, the operation will be restarted in
timer mode.

4. 24-hour cycle operation mode
After operating up to setting temperature (T1)
for setting time, 2-step operation will be
conducted up to the temperature T2 for 24
hours. After repeating the operations for setting
time, constant number operation will be
conducted at preset temperature(T3).

5. Buzzer setting
Buzzer can be beeped when the unit is stopped
automatically in auto stop mode.

6. Time setting for displaying total operation hours
If you set the time setting for total operation
hours function, 「Alarm」lamp will light up when
the time elapses setting time. Indicator displays
「Addt」and measured temperature alternately
and the unit will be controlled.
※Setting range of displaying total operation
hours:1〜9999hrs.
Factory default:1500 hrs.
※Useful to check the timing of executing
defrosting (forced manual defrosting) or
maintenance and checkup.
7. Resetting total operation hours
If you reset the time, you can check the next
timing of defrosting (forced manual defrosting),
maintenance and checkup after resetting the time.
※Factory default:0hr.
The setting of adjustment mode can be changed even
when the unit is controlled or not controlled.
1) Press [Set]key for longer than 5 seconds.
Indicator displays 「SnS」and the mode enters
into adjustment mode.
2) Each time you press [▲]or[▼]key, setting
mode
changes. Choose your desired mode.
※Adjustment mode changes in order as shown in
right picture.

This product is equipped with the following safety
features and alarm functions. If you face any trouble,
please refer to "Troubleshooting" on page 49.

Alarm functions
・Setting value for over heat protector is too low.
・Temperature controller, SSR or the fan in the air
jacket is impaired, which made the temperature
of over heat protector raise too high.
・Electric leakage occurs or excess current flows.

・The unit is defrosted.
Turns off the refrigeration unit when the
temperature is lower than the setting
value of overcool protector, which makes
the overcool lamp light up. The unit will
be controlled when the temperature rises.
Overcool protector
・Setting value for over heat protector is inappropriate,
which makes temperature controller, SSR or fan in
the jacket impaired and raise the temperature
(reaches up to upprox.70℃.)
Turns off the heater and over heat lamp
lights up. The unit will be controlled again
when the temperature lowers.

Releasing alarm
・When the measured temperature is out of the
capacity of the unit, control gets restarted
automatically.
・Alarm can be also released by [Set]key.
・Sort out the trouble if over heat protector or over
heat protecting thermostat works.
