OVERVIEW
UTP HDMI Extender EZ-EXSP12 supports HDMI 2.0 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit,
HDCP2.2; Supports PoE, bi-directional IR, bi-directional RS232 and EDID
management,. It provides distribution 3 of 3840 x 2160@60Hz 4:4:4 video,
Two UTP outputs,one HDMI local loop output and Two-way IR up to
50m/165ft over a single Cat6a/7 cable. Simple cascade mode makes it easy
to apply to sport bar,Education, church, digital signage and other
environments.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect HDMI cable from HDMI source devices to HDMI1X2 Extender
input.
2. Connect network/Ethernet cable from UTP out (Transmitter) to UTP
input (Receiver).
3. Connect HDMI cable from HDMI output (Receiver) to HDMI input on
your display.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. POWER: Make sure all devices are powered on.
2. Make DVD PLAYER 24P/24Hz ON.
3. DEVICES: Make sure picture can be shown normally when connecting
HDMI source to display devices directly.
4. HDMI CABLE: Plug in and out HDMI 2.0 cable or change another HDMI
cable. When transmit HDMI 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) signal,HDMI 2.0

certificated cables is required.
5. NETWORK CABLE:
5-1 Please use Cat5e/6a/7 cable, don` t suggest use Cat5.
5-2 Make sure CatX cable is less than 165ft.
5-3 Make sure the two connectors of one CatX cable are same standard
(EIA/TIA 568B).
6. COMPATIBILITY: Please test other source and display devices to
determine whether it is a compatibility issue.
7. IR SIGNAL: Make sure the IR cables are correctly installed according to
the diagram above. (IR Bi-direction Control)
7-1 Check if the IR emitter head is secured over the center of the IR
window of source device. This position maybe discrepant if you use
different sources, try to adjust the position if the signal is weak.
(or you can refer to the user manual of your source device to confirm
the exact position of IR window)
7-2 Pay attention to the control angle and distance as below: The
control signal will be better when your controller is pointed at the IR
receiver head directly.
