your first EZG Manufacturing product, you will not be disappointed. If you have previously owned an EZG
Manufacturing product you will find the same high quality and dependability that you have come to expect
from EZG Manufacturing.
ABOUT THIS MANUAL
The purpose of this manual is to inform the owner/employer/and the operator, how to safely operate this
piece of equipment, and make them aware of any hazards. It also contains important information regarding
assembly, set up, operation, and maintenance. It is the Owner/Employers responsibility to make sure that
anyone who operates this machine understands all safety warnings. If you do not understand any items
in this manual, please contact the dealer where this product was purchased, or the manufacturer at the
number listed throughout this manual. If you have any suggestions about how to make this manual easier
to understand, contact the manufacturer. Keep this manual available for reference wherever this piece of
equipment is being used and make it available to any operators.

The HW3000 Hog Waller® has been designed and built for the purpose of scrubbing masonry and
concrete walls and should not be used for anything other than its intended purpose.
Only use the correct power supply voltage shown on the identification plate.
Only use an UL approved extension cord approved for outdoor use.
Never modify the plug or use adapter plugs.
Never operate the HW3000 in rain or wet conditions. If damp conditions exist it is recommended to
use a Ground Fault Indicator (GFI) protected supply.
Never use the power cord to carry, pull, or unplug the HW3000. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges and moving parts.

To prevent unintentional starting of the HW3000 Hog Waller® always make sure the switch is
in the off position before connecting to a power source.
Disconnect all power sources before making any adjustments or performing maintenance on the
HW3000 Hog Waller®.
Be sure to inspect the HW3000 Hog Waller® for any tools such as wrenches and adjusting keys
after any adjustments or maintenance is performed before connecting to a power source.
Do not put the HW3000 down until it has completely stopped.

California - Proposition 65 Warning
Engine exhaust and some of its constituents, and some dust created by power sanding,
sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities contains chemicals known to
the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Some
examples of these chemicals are:
Lead from lead based paints - Crystalline silica from bricks -Cement and other masonry
products -Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work.
To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: Always work in a well ventilated area, and
work with approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are specially designed to
filter out microscopic particles.
SETUP & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Warning! This equipment is to be operated by trained and qualified personnel
over the age of 18. Death, electrical shock, or serious injury can result.
1. Ensure that the work area is free and clear of debris and people.
2. Be sure that the power cord is clear of and away from the work area.
3. Keep both hands firmly on the HW3000 Hog Waller® during operation.
4. Always allow for reaction torque .
5. If an extension rod is used loosen the lock spanner (figure 1).
6. Attach the dust hose, dust proof ring, and vacuum bag to the extension rod (figure 2).

7. Lock on power switch (figure 3).

9. Installing or replacing abrasive disc (figure 5).
•Insert hex wrench (size 5) into hexagonal screw bolt on the abrasive disc.
•Hold the abrasive disc firmly while turning wrench.
•Install new abrasive disc and tighten bolt.

Warning! Before performing any described maintenance items, make sure
all power sources have been disconnected. Death, electrical shock or other
serious injury can result.
1. Keep the safety devices, ventilation slots and Motor housing as free of dirt and dust as possible.
Clean the unit by rubbing it with a clean cloth or blow it clean using low-pressure compressed air.
2. We recommend that you always clean the unit immediately after using it.
3. Clean the unit regularly by rubbing it with a damp cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use cleaners
or solvents, use of these products will damage the plastic parts in the unit. You must also ensure
that water cannot get into the inside of the unit.
4. Ensure unit is unplugged before removing or inspecting brushes.
5. Removal and replacement of brushes should only be conducted by qualified personnel.
6. Remove and inspect the motor brushes every 40 operating hours.
7. If brushes measure less than 1/4" in length, replace brushes with part #HW-3000-CB.
DAILY MAINTENANCE
13.Removing or replacing the dust hose (figure 10a - 10b).
•Loosen hose clamp with a screw driver.
•Rotate counter-clockwise.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
1. The operating switch is in the on position but, the motor is not working.
a. The wires in the plug or in the socket are loose:
Have the plug and socket repaired or replaced.
b. The switch is faulty:
Have the switch replaced.
2. The operating switch is switched on but, unusual noises can be heard or, the motor
is not working or running very slowly.
a. Switch contact has failed:
Have the switch replaced
b. Component Jammed:
Have the electric tool checked or replaced.
c. Too much thrust, as a result the motor is dragging:
Use less thrust during operation.
3. Motor gets hot.
a. Foreign substances have gotten inside the motor:
Remove the foreign substance.
b. Lack of or contaminated grease:
Have lubricating grease applied or replaced.
c. Pressure too high:
Use less thrust during operation.
4. Frequent or strong sparks on the commutator.
a. Short circuit on the armature:
Have the armature replaced.
b. Carbon brushes worn out or jammed:
Have the carbon brushes checked or replaced.
c. Commutator running rough:
Have the surface of the commutator cleaned or ground.
WARNING! Never remove parts or accessories during operation or while
the HW3000 Hog Waller is switched on or connected to a power source.
Disconnect all power sources to avoid electrical shock or other injuries
before replacing or cleaning any components.

WARRANTY
Limited Warranty
The manufacturer warrants that products manufactured shall be free from defects in material and
workmanship that develop under normal use for a period of 90 days on all products from the date
of shipment. The foregoing shall be the exclusive remedy of the buyer and the exclusive liabili-ty
of the manufacturer. Our warranty excludes normal replaceable wear items, i.e. gaskets, wear parts,
seals, O-rings, belts, drive chains, clutches, etc. Any equipment, part or product which is furnished
by the manufacturer but manufactured by another, bears only the warranty given by such other
manufacturer. (Manufacturer agrees to furnish free of charge a written description of problem or
cause.) Warranty is voided by product abuse, alterations, use of equipment in applications for
which it was not intended, use of non-manufacturer parts, or failure to follow documented service
instructions. The foregoing warranty is exclusive of all other warranties whether written or oral,
expressed or implied. No warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall apply.
The agents, dealers, and employees of Manufacturer are not authorized to make modifications to
this warranty, or additional warranties binding on the Manufacturer. Therefore, additional state-
ments, whether oral or written, do not constitute warranty and should not be relied upon.
The Manufacturer’s sole responsibility for any breach of the foregoing warranty provisions, with
respect to any product or part not conforming to the Warranty or the description herein contained,
is at its option (a) to repair, replace, or refund such product or parts upon the prepaid return there of
to location designated specifically by the Manufacturer. Product returns not shipped prepaid will be
refused (b) as an alternative to the foregoing modes of settlement-
the Manufacturer’s dealer may repair defective units with reimbursement for expenses. A written
description of problem or cause must accompany all warranty claims.
Except as set forth here in above and without limitation of the above, there are no warranties or
other affirmation which extend beyond the description of the products on the fact here of, or as to
operational efficiency, product reliability, or maintainability or compatibility with products fur-
nished by others. In no event, whether as a result of breach of contract or warranty or alleged
negligence, shall the Manufacturer, be liable for special or consequential damages including but not
limited to: Loss of profits or revenue, loss of use of the product or any associated product, cost of
capital, cost of substitute products, facilities or services or claims of customers. Manufacturer does
not assume responsibility for any accident due to equipment modification.
No claim will be allowed for products lost or damaged in transit. Such claims should be filed with
the carrier within fifteen days.
EZG Manufacturing is the exclusive manufacturer of the patented Grout Hog® Grout Delivery
System the Mud Hog® Hydraulic Mixing Station, the Hog Trough® mud pan, the Hog Cart™, the
Hog Slopper™, the Booger Hog® Wall Scrubber, the Hog Leg® Wall Brace System, and the Hog
Crusher™ Material Recycling System.
