BEXT 100H Extractor
Operation and Safety
Safety Practices:
Machine can cause an
explosion when operated
near flammable material
and vapors. Do not use
this machine with or near
fuels, grain dust, solvents,
thinners or other
flammable materials.
Always use a 3- wire
electrical system
connected to the electrical
ground.
Keep hands, feet, and
loose clothing away from
all moving parts on the
machine.
Remove the electrical plug
from the electrical outlet
before doing any repairs or
maintenance to this
machine.
Never leave the machine
unattended while it is
connected to a power
source.
It is recommended that
you use liquid cleaning
chemicals. Powder can
damage the machine.
Do not use water that is
hotter than 120°F (40° C).

Application: Easily extract large or confined carpeted areas such as
stairs or tight office spaces. Use optional hand tool when cleaning
partition, fabrics and upholstery.
Set-up and operation
Follow the steps below to successfully use extractor:
Step Action
1
To set-up machine:
a.) Connect vacuum hose to the
hose connector on the
extractor (1) and to the end of
the vacuum tube on the floor
tool (2).
b.) Connect the solution hose (3)
to the extractor and the floor
tool (4).
c.) Put clean hot water into the
solution tank (5).
d.) Add a cleaning chemical to the
hot water (for amount see
container).
e.) Plug in cord #1 (identified by
red “H” on the end).
f.) Turn pump on (6) and set the
switch to “Upholstery” setting.
Run till pump is fully primed
and then turn off pump.
g.) Remove the priming hose and
attach the cleaning hose & tool.
h.) Turn on the pump and spray
through the cleaning tool for a
few seconds to fill line with
solution.
i.) Plug in cord #2. The “locator
light” (7) will light up when the
cords are plugged into
separate circuits.
j.) Turn “heat” switch on and wait
2 minutes to reach operating
temperature.
k.) Begin cleaning (see steps 2
and 3).
NOTE: The “mode” light will turn
on when the heat exchanger is
actively heating.
NOTE: If the “locator” light does not
light when cord #2 is plugged in, try
another outlet until it does come on.

WARNING: If foam liquid
comes out, stop
extracting immediately.
Allow vacuum to run
until exhaust is dry.
WARNING: We
recommend that you use
liquid cleaning
chemicals. Powder can
damage machine and
void your warranty.
WARNING: DO NOT use
water that is hotter than
120°F (40°C).

How to operate the machine to clean carpet:
a.) Start pump for the solution and the motor for the vacuum.
b.) Begin at right hand corner of the carpet.
c.) Hold floor tool at angle to get best vacuum seal between
tool and carpet.
d.) Apply pressure to the lever for solution release.
e.) Pull tool toward you at a slow steady speed.
f.) Release lever before you stop moving backward.
g.) Push tool away over the same area, while moving the tool
to next position.
h.) Repeat till all area is cleaned.
i.) To remove more liquid from carpet, make passes over area
already cleaned, but do not apply pressure to the solution
lever.

How to operate the machine to clean a large area of carpet:
a.) Begin at the right hand corner of the room.
b.) Make a pass halfway along the edge of the carpet.
c.) Pull the tool backward at a steady speed.
d.) Move to the edge of the carpet and make another pass
next to the first pass.
e.) As you make more passes, repeat one inch of the area
already cleaned.
f.) Make more passes until half the carpet is cleaned.
g.) Move the right hand corner of the part of the carpet not yet
cleaned.
h.) Repeat b through e until the room is cleaned.

Do not walk on freshly cleaned carpet for at least 4
hours or until dry to touch.
Do not allow children or pets to crawl or walk around on
damp carpet.
Vacuum right after the carpet is dry.
