• Congratulations for purchasing the FT-TV-1SEG IV TV receptor, compatible
with the Brazilian ISDB-T System.
• Please, read this manual carefully before installing your new device.
• Keep this manual with you to check the functioning procedures and the
security information.
• To avoid any hazard risks and any potential law violation, the TV function
must never be used while the vehicle is moving.
• We recommend that a professional, with experience in the field of installation
of vehicle devices, is the one to install this interface.
• Beware: disconnect the battery’s negative pole before installing.
• Beware to connect the wires appropriately, according to the charts on this
manual. Incorrect plugging may result on a poor behavior or damages to the
device and to the vehicle’s electrical components.
• Beware to the original manufacturer’s components, such as the on-board
computer. Do not use their connectors to plug in the device. When you connect
on a terminal with a fuse, check to see if the current will plug all the devices.
Malfunctions on the energy supply may cause the device to misbehave.
• Make sure that the vehicle’s cables do not touch the surface of the device. As
the vehicle moves, the motion may cause the wires to break, creating a
short-circuit. Remember to leave room for the wires to pass and do not allow
for the device’s cables to touch the original vehicle’s cables.
