Thisfountainisforoutdooruseonly.
Placeyourfountaininalocation whereanywaterspillsorsplashingwillnot reachanyotherelectricalequipment orcause
damage.
Choosean appropriatelocation beforeinstallingthefountain. Emptythebasebeforelifting,DONOTlift, pushordragthe
basetorelocatethefountainwhenitsfilledwithwater.
Excessiveweight orpressureonanyofthefountainsectionsmaycauseittotiporfallover.Keeppetsand childrenaway
fromanyof thefountainsections.
Somesplashing mayoccur.Toavoidinjuryfromelectricalshock,observebasicsafetyprecautionsand complywiththe
followinginstructions:
Thepumponyourfountainhasnouserserviceableparts. Onlyan authorized servicerepresentativeshouldservice
the pump.Donotopenthesealedpumphousingasthismayresultinelectricalshock.Refertoenclosedpump
maintenanceguideforcleaning.
1. Installthe fountainpumpcorrectly beforeoperating it.
2. DONOTallowthepumptorundry.
3.Anadultshouldsupervisechildrenwhentheyarearoundthepump.
4. Usetheproperpowersourceasindicatedonthepumplabel.
5. Makesuretheelectricaloutlet usedforthepumphasaground faultinterrupter(GFCI).
6.If theentirefountainfallsintothewateraccidentally, turnoffthecircuit breakerimmediately.
7.If anyleakageoccursaroundthepumphousing, turnoff the circuit breakerimmediatelyand havethepumpservicedby
aregisteredtechnician.
8. Donotoperatethefountainifthepumphasbeendroppedorhasadamagedpowercordorplug.
9.Iftheplugoryourwall receptaclegetswetduetowaterdrippingdownthepowercordorforanyotherreason,do not
removetheplugfromthewalloutletuntilthecircuitbreakeristurnedoff.
NOTE: Allow thepump power cordto hangatalower levelthanthe
walloutlettoform a “driploop”.Thiswillhelppreventwater from
drippingdownthepower cord andgettinginto thewalloutlet.
10. Alwaysunplug thefountainpumpand anyotherindependent electricalaccessoriesfromtheoutlet whennotinuseand
beforecleaningorreplacingparts.
11. Disconnectthepowercordfromtheoutlet byholding theplug, notbypullingonthepowercord.
12. Donotexposethepumptodirectsunlightortolowtemperaturesforanyperiodoftime.
13. Keepthepowercordawayfromhigh temperaturesorheat sources.
14.If theuseofanextensioncordisnecessary,useonlyaCUL-approved,outdoor-ratedextension cordofthecorrect
ratingtoavoidoverheating.
15. Donotuseattachmentswhicharenotprovidedbythemanufacturer,sincetheymaycausean unsafecondition.
16. Donotusethepumpforanythingotherthan itsintendeduse.

17.Thisfountainpumpisnotintendedforcommercialuse.
18.Periodicallychangethewater.Clean thefountainwaterbasin,thepumpsoutletnozzleand PVCplastictubefordirt

ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONS
Step1: Removethe product (A)fromthe box; placethe fountainontolevelsurface.
Step2:Connect PVCplastictube(E)tothe outletnozzleofpump(B)and putthem(B&E)inside thebase
(F) align smoothlythroughthe back open slot(G).Payattention tohavethe powercord(D)pass
throughthe outlethole(I).
Step3:Attachthecoverplate(C)tomatchthe back open slot.
Step4:Fillthe watertank(K)withclean water(H).Makesurethe pump(B)iscompletelysubmerged in
water.The fountainiscompletelyassembled asshowninFig.3.Inordertohavebesteffect, the
waterlevelshouldbe ¾inch(2cm)belowthe watertanktip(J)
Step5:Useproperpowersupplyandplugthepumppowercord(D)totheoutlettorun thefountain.In
caseofuneven waterflow,plugand unplugthe pump3-4timestoclearanyairthatmayhave
been trapped.
Reverse thestepsintheassemblyinstructionstoreplace thepump(B).
Becareful nottospill waterontotheplugofthepump.
DO NOTallowthepumptorun dry!
TROUBLESHOOTING
1.IfyourFOUNTAINPUMPfailstooperate, pleasecheck the following:
a)Makesurethe pumpisplugged intothe socket properly.
b)Check the waterlevelinthe fountain.Runningthe pumpwithoutsufficientwatercan damagethe
pump.
c) Check the settingofthe flowcontrolon thepump.Check thepumpoutletnozzleandPVC
plastictubefordirt and debris. Clean ifnecessary.
d)MakesurethepumpisconnectedtoPVCplastictubetightly. Checkthefountaintubingforkinks
and obstructions(refertoassemblystep3).
e)Thepumpmaybe"airlocked".Plugand unplugthe pumpseveraltimestoclearanyairthatmay
havebeen trapped.
2.Ifthe waterdoesnot flowout ofthe fountain,it maybecaused byakinkedorloosePVCplastic
tube, makesurePVCplastictubeisconnected properly.

PERFORMANCE
Aclogged ordirtyintakescreenwill greatlyreduceperformance.
Ifthe pumpisused on adirtysurface,raiseitslightlytoreducethe amountofdebriscontactingthe intake.
Ifless flowisdesired, adjust theflowcontrolleveron the sideofthe pumporrestrict the dischargeflow.
Donotletthe pumprun when notsubmerged inwater.Doing somaydamagethe pump.Always
submergethepumpfirst, and thenpluginthe electricaloutlet.Thepumpmightrun drythefirstfew
minutesbecausethereisairinthe pumpand the tube.Thisisnormal.Pleaseunplug and re-plugpump
severaltimes, itwill workproperlyafterafewminutes.
Thepumpistobesupplied througharesidualcurrentdevice(RCD)witharatedresidualoperating
current notexceeding30mA.
MAINTENANCE
Toclean the pump, removethe back coverand theimpeller.
Useasmallbrushorstreamofwatertoremoveanydebris.
CAUTION:Thepumpshaft cannot beremoved.
IFTHEPUMPFAILSTO OPERATE, CHECKTHEFOLLOWING:
lCheck thecircuitbreakerandtryanotheroutlettomakesurethe pumpisgettingelectricalpower.
NOTE:Alwaysdisconnectpumpfromelectricaloutletbeforehandlingitormovingittoanother
location.
lCheck thepumpdischargeand tubingforkinks and obstructions.Algae buildupcan be flushed out
withagarden hose.
lCheck the inlettoensureit isnot clogged withdebris.
lRemovethe pumpinlettoaccess the impellerarea.Turnthe rotortoensureitisnotbroken or
jammed.
lMonthlymaintenancewill increaseyourpumpslife.
NOTE:Ensurethattheelectricalcordloopsbelowthe electricaloutlettoforma “driploop”.Thiswill
prevent waterfromrunningdownthe cordintothe electricaloutlet.
