the auger to turn counter-clockwise (see also the
red direction sign on the mouthpiece). If the rotation
is not counter-clockwise, the main power supply must
be shut off, and two power wires, either inside the panel
or on the gear motor, must be interchanged.
Each component and each part in the electrical control
panel are numbered, and can be identified in the “Parts
List of the Panel” (attached to the electrical circuit
drawings). The identification numbers also show the
manufacturer of the part, the model number, and
everything else you may need to order spare parts or
replace a malfunctioning component.
Do not operate the system without the professional
installation of the electrical control panel. It is also
important that the operator become familiar with the
switches for manual and automatic operation. The
panels come with these words "HAND - O - AUTO"
printed on the main switch. The “O" is for Off.
The under current relay in the panel is only active in
switch position “Auto”. If the plug is wet but th
epressure in the PSS is high there is danger of
loosing the plug, called “breakthrough”, in position
“Hand”, unless an additional switch is installed on
the weight arms to stop the pump.
To protect the pump and the entire PSS system, a
liquid level float switch must be connected to the panel
as part of the pump feed systems. The float switch shall
control and stop the pump when the liquid level is too
low, which in turn should automatically shut off the
PSS. Any mixer in the collection pit is normally run
independent from the feed pump and the PSS on/off.
Important: If the FAN Press Screw Separator was
ordered without a panel some basic procedures
must be followed; otherwise no warranty is offered:
An "overload protection" has to be installed
so that the maximum power of the motor,
indicated on the nameplate of the motor, is
not exceeded.
Control, Operation.
Prevent the operation of the Separator
without influent, as dry runs will add
unnecessary wear and decrease the life
expectancy of the screen and auger. For
this reason, the Separator should start with
the feeding and stop after a running time of
about two to five minutes.
Wichtig: Die elektrische Versorgung des Getriebe-
motors ist derart anzuschließen, dass die
Schnecke, vom Presskopf aus gesehen, entgegen
dem Uhrzeigersinn dreht [siehe roten Pfeil auf
Mundstück des Presskopfes].
Ist dies nicht der Fall, so sind zwei der stromführenden
Leiter am Anschluss des Getriebemotors oder im
Schaltschrank zu vertauschen.
Jedes Teil und jede Komponente im Schaltschrank ist
nummeriert und in der Stückliste für den Schaltschrank,
anhängend an den Schaltplänen im Schaltschrank,
verzeichnet. Über diese Artikelnummer werden weitere
Informationen wie der Hersteller usw. ersichtlich, die
zur Bestellung von Ersatzteilen erforderlich sind.
Zum einwandfreien Betrieb ist eine korrekte Installation
des Schaltschrankes zwingend erforderlich. Ebenso ist
es zwingend erforderlich, dass sich das Bedienpersonal
mit den verschiedenen Einstellungen am Schaltschrank
vertraut macht, wie z.B. die Betriebsart Automatik
“AUTO” und Manuell “HAND”. Unser Schaltschrank
wird mit diesen beiden Worten “HAND – O – AUTO” am
Hauptschalter geliefert. In der Schalterstellung “O” ist
der PSS ausgeschaltet. Das Unterstromrelais im
Schaltschrank ist nur in der Schalterstellung
“AUTO” aktiviert. Ist der Pfropfen wässrig, aber der
Druck im PSS relativ hoch, so besteht in der
manuellen Betriebsart “HAND” die Gefahr, den
Pfropfen zu verlieren, genannt Pfropfendurchbruch,
sofern nicht, wie oben bereits angesprochen, ein
Endschalter an den Gewichtsarmen die
Ausschaltung herbeiführt.
Bei einer Beschickung des PSS über eine Pumpe ist
zum Schutz der Pumpe und des Gesamtsystems des
Press Schnecken Separators eine
Füllstandsüberwachung an dem Entnahmetank
erforderlich, die in dem Schaltschrank derart
angeschlossen wird, dass bei einem zu geringen
Füllstand des Entnahmetankes die Pumpe und damit
automatisch der PSS abgeschaltet werden. Das
Rührwerk läuft normalerweise unabhängig weiter.
Wichtig: Wurde der FAN Press Schnecken
Separator ohne Schaltschrank geliefert bzw.
bestellt, so sind ein paar grundlegende Regeln bei
der Ansteuerung des FAN Press Schnecken
Separator zu beachten, da ansonsten die Garantie
entfällt:
Es ist eine elektrische Absicherung des
Motors zu installieren, so dass die zulässige
Strombelastung gemäß Typenschild nicht
überschritten wird.
Ansteuerung, Betrieb.
Ein Betrieb des Separators ohne
Zulaufmedium ist schaltungstechnisch
auszuschließen, da ansonsten durch den
Trockenlauf erhöhter Verschleiß von Sieb
und Schnecke nicht vermieden werden
können und die Sieb- und
Schneckenlebensdauer erheblich verkürzt
