AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Avant la première utilisation, essuyez le
corps de l’appareil avec un chiffon doux et
sec et lavez les lames avec de l’eau chaude
additionnée de produit vaisselle.
Rincez à l’eau claire et séchez avec
précaution à l’aide d’un chiffon doux.

UTILISATION
Ce mixeur plongeant est particulièrement
adapté pour la préparation des soupes,
des sauces, de la mayonnaise et des
aliments pour bébé.

1. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation sur
une prise secteur.
2.Introduisez verticalement le mixeur
plongeant dans un bol mélangeur ou tout
autre récipient à bords hauts.
NOTE : Pour éviter les éclaboussures,
ne mettez l’appareil en marche que
lorsque le pied mixeur est introduit
dans le bol mélangeur.
3.Pour mettre en marche l’appareil, appuyez
et maintenez le bouton marche/arrêt
enfoncé.

NOTE : Entre deux préparations, vous
pouvez rincer les lames en
introduisant le pied mixeur dans un
récipient à bords hauts avec de l’eau
claire. Faites fonctionner l’appareil
quelques secondes.

Nettoyez les lames avec de l’eau chaude
additionnée de liquide vaisselle. Rincez à
l’eau claire et laissez sécher le pied
mixeur à la verticale (lames vers le bas)
afin que l’eau puisse s’écouler ou séchez
soigneusement à l’aide d’un chiffon doux
et sec.

Faites très attention de ne pas vous couper
lors de la manipulation des lames car elles
sont coupantes !

éponge douce légèrement humidifiée.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Before using this electrical appliance,
ensure that you always follow the basic
precautions below:

Before using the appliance, check that
the wall socket voltage corresponds to
the voltage indicated on the appliance
label.
•
This appliance is designed to be
used for domestic and similar
purposes such as:

kitchens used by employees in shops,
offices and otherprofessionals;

This appliance can be used by people

Never immerse the top section of
the blender in liquid as you risk
causing an electric shock.

Unplug the power cable when not
using the appliance, before
adding or removing a moving
component, and before cleaning
the appliance.
•
When mixing, there must be no utensils
in the container and no one must place
their hands inside. This is to reduce the
risk of serious injury to persons and
damage to the appliance. You can use a
scraper, but only use when the blender has
been switched off.
•
Using accessories that are not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause injury to
persons.
•
Only use the appliance for the purposes for
which it was designed.
•
Never use it outdoors.
•
Do not mix very hot or boiling food or liquids.
•
Do not mix foods containing hard parts that
the blades may not be able to cut in complete
safety.
•
Do NOT place the hand blender on or close to
a source of heat, or on top of an oven that is on.
•
The length of time for each cycle of use
should not exceed 1 minute. The appliance
should be left to rest for 10 minutes between
each cycle.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before using for the first time, wipe the
body of the appliance with a soft, dry
cloth and wash the blades with warm
water and washing up liquid.
Rinse with clean water and dry carefully
with a soft cloth.
Please refer to the paragraph on
"Cleaning and Maintenance" for
cleaning precautions.
USING
This hand blender is particularly
suitable for preparing soups, sauces,
mayonnaise and baby food.
It is not suitable for hard and dry food
and must not be used to make crushed
ice, caster sugar etc.
1. Plug the power cable into a mains socket.
2. Vertically insert the hand blender
into .
the mixing bowl or any other high-sided
recipient.
NOTE: To avoid splashing, do not switch the
appliance on while the blending unit is in the
mixing bowl.
3.To switch the appliance on, press and hold
the on/off button.
WARNING! Do not insert a spatula or any
other utensil into the recipient while the
appliance is being used. You can insert a
spatula or another utensil into the recipient
only when the appliance has been switched
off.
Do not use the appliance empty for longer
than 15 seconds (without food) or for more
than 1 minute continuously.
Then leave the appliance to cool for a least 10
minutes before using again.
4.After use, unplug the appliance from the
mains power.
NOTE: Between different preparations,
you can rinse the blades by inserting the

blender into a high recipient filled with
clean water. Switch the appliance on for a
few seconds
PRACTICAL TIPS FOR USE
•
Cut food items into small pieces before
mixing.
•
If you need to mix/blend large quantities
of ingredients, start with small portions.
•
If you would like to mix fruit/and or
vegetables, add water to the mixture to
aid mixing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Before cleaning your blender, unplug it
from the mains power.
•
Never immerse the motor unit, power
cable or plug in water or any other liquid.
•
Clean the blades with warm water and
washing up liquid. Rinse in clean water
and leave the blender to dry vertically

(with blades at the bottom) so that the
water can drip down, or dry carefully
using a soft, dry cloth.
•
Be very careful not to cut yourself when
handling the blades as they are very sharp!
•
Wipe the body of the appliance with a
lightly damp, soft sponge.
•
Ensure that you never allow water to
penetrate the appliance.
•
Never put the hand blender in the
dishwasher.
•
Do not use abrasive cleaning products or
a scouring pad to clean it.
Remove any food residues remaining on
the power cable using a soft, dry cloth..

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive
2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),
requires that old household electrical
appliances must not be disposed of in the
normal unsorted municipal waste stream.
Old appliances must be collected
separately in order to optimize the
recovery and recycling of the materials
they contain, and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on
the product reminds you of your obligation,
that when you dispose of the appliance, it
must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local
authority or retailer for information
concerning the correct disposal of their
old appliance.
