INSTRUCTIONS FOR MACHINE OPERATION
INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
• Starting with an unplugged machine, align the backing plate to be central to the velour area of your
applicator pad and press the applicator onto the backing plate
• To remove your applicator, peel away from the backing plate
• To remove your backing plate, use an Allen key to remove the bolt and unscrew anti-clockwise
STARTING, STOPPING & CONTROLLING SPEED
• Your polisher features a speed dial control. The graph below illustrates the relationship between the
speed setting selected and the corresponding OPM (Oscillations Per Minute) of the polisher
• Please make sure to polish at the recommended
OPM of any given Farécla compound
• Use the dial to select the desired speed
• To start the tool, squeeze the trigger
• To stop the tool, release the trigger
• For continuous operation, use the switch lock
button to lock the trigger. Squeeze the trigger
again to stop the tool
MAINTENANCE
Keep your polishing machine in good repair by adopting a regular maintenance programme. Before use,
examine the general condition of the tool. Inspect switches and the cord for any damage. Ensure vents are clear
of dust and debris. Check for any loose screws, misalignment, improper mounting, fused moving parts, broken
parts or any other condition that could aect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, turn the tool
o immediately and seek assistance. Never use a damaged tool.
Farécla recommends your machine should be serviced every 12 months by a qualied professional who should
carry out the following service points:
• Lubrication
• Brush inspection and replacement (a spare set is included with your polisher)
• Mechanical inspection and cleaning (gears, spindles, bearings, housings)
• Electrical inspection (switches, cord, armature)
• Electrical testing in line with local legislation and practices
DISPOSAL
At the end of its useful life, and in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE), this product must not be disposed of as domestic waste, but must be disposed of through
authorised recycling centres. Please contact your relevant local authorities for more details.
