[無償保証期間と保証内容]
無償保証期間
(1)保証期間は「お買い上げ後 1 年」もしくは「銘板に記載されている製造年月より 18 ヶ月のいずれか早く経過するまでの期間となります。
(2)使用環境、使用条件、使用頻度や回数などにより、商品の寿命に 影響を及ぼす場合は、この保障期間が適用されない場合があります。
(3)弊社サービス部門が修復した部分の保証期間は、「修復完了後 6 ヶ月」となります。
保証範囲
(1)保証期間中に弊社側の責任により故障を生じた場合は、その商品の故障部分の交換または修理を商品の購入あるいは納入場所において無償で行
わせていただきます。ただし、次に該当する場合は、この保証の対象範囲から除外させていただくものといたします。
①カタログ、取扱説明書や仕様書などに記載されている以外の不適当な条件、環境、取り扱い、使用方法などに起因した故障の場合。
②故障の原因が購入品および納入品以外の理由による場合。
③お客様の装置またはソフトウエアの設計など、弊社以外の理由による場合。
④プログラミング可能な当社商品については、弊社以外のものが行ったプログラム、またはそれにより生じた故障の場合。
⑤弊社以外による改造、修理に起因した故障。
⑥ご購入時または納入時に実用化されていた科学、技術では予見する事のできない自由に起因する場合。
⑦商品本来の使い方外の使用による場合。
⑧その他、天災、災害など弊社側の責ではない原因の場合。
(2)なお、ここでいう保証はご購入品および納入品単体に限ります。
(3)保証範囲は(1)を上限とし、ご購入品および納入品の故障から誘発される損害（機械・装置の損害または損失、逸失利益など）はいかなる損害も
保証から除外させていただくものといたします。
故障診断
一次故障診断は、原則としてお客様にて実施をお願いします。但し、お客様の要請により弊社または弊社サービス網がこの業務を有償 にて代行
することができます。この場合の有償料金は弊社の料金規定により、お客様にてご負担をお願い致します。
[機会損失などの保証責任の除外]
無償保証期間内外を問わず、弊社の責に帰すことができない事由から生じた損害、弊社商品の故障に起因するお客様の機会損失、逸失利益、弊
社の予見の有無を問わず特別の事情から生じた損害、二次損害、事故補償、弊社商品以外への損傷およびその他の業務に対する保証は弊社の保
証対象外とさせて頂きます。
[生産中止後の修理期間、補用部品の供給期間]
生産中止した機種（商品）につきましては、生産を中止した年月より起算して７年間の範囲で修理を実施致します。また、修理用の主要な補用
部品についても、生産を中止した年月より起算して７年間の範囲で供給致します。
但し、電子部品等はライフサイクルが短く、調達や生産が困難になる場合も予測され、期間内でも修理や補用部品の供給が困難となる場合があ
ります。詳細は、弊社営業窓口またはサービス窓口へ御確認願います。
[警告表示の種類と意味]
本取扱説明書では、安全事項のランクを「警告」、「注意」として区分してあります。

警告 取り扱いを誤った場合に、危険な状況が起こりえて、死亡又は、重傷を受ける可能性が想定される場合。
注意 取り扱いを誤った場合、使用者が傷害を負う可能性が想定される
場合及び物的損害のみが想定される場合。
なお、注意に記載した事項でも、状況によっては重大な結果に結びつく可能性はあります。
いずれも重要な内容を記載しておりますので必ず守って下さい。
お読みになった後は使用者がいつでも見られる所に必ず保管して下さい。本取説では必要に応じ下記の記号を用います。

[注意事項］
本取扱説明書を全てお読みいただき、機器の知識、注意事項の全てについてご理解の上ご使用下さい。
■外部回生抵抗は高温になりますので触らないでください。火傷の恐れが有ります。
■人が容易に抵抗器に触れられない様にカバーを設けてください。火傷の恐れが有ります。
■通電中、抵抗器内部や端子台には絶対に触らないでください。感電の恐れが有ります。
警告
■回生抵抗器の周囲に、燃えやすい物を設置しないでください。発火の恐れがあります。
■サーミスタ線は必ず配線してください。サーミスタが動作した場合（オープン状態になった場合）は、
サーボアンプの主電源を遮断してください。発火、破損の恐れがあります。
■決してサーミスタ線の両端を短絡しないでください。抵抗器の過熱を検出できません。
発火、破損の恐れがあります。
■改造しないでください。発火、破損の恐れがあります。
■他の抵抗器を組み合わせて（直列、並列）使用はしないでください。発火、破損の恐れがあります。
注意
■正しく確実に配線してください。焼損の原因となります。けがの恐れがあります。
配線方法については、該当サーボアンプのユーザーズマニュアルをご参照下さい。
■周辺機器への温度影響にご注意ください。
回生抵抗器は高温になり周囲の空気温度が上昇します。近くに設置されている周辺機器の仕様（周囲
温度・設置環境）を満足しているか、確認の上ご使用ください。

Thank you very much for purchasing the Fuji AC Servo FALDIC Series option. This Instruction Manual only describes
minimal contents required to use the product.
Please refer to the User's Manual for Servo System upon installation and operation. Please check if the product you
received is exactly what you have ordered. Should the product have a crack, scratch or any other defect, please contact the
business office where you purchased the product.

When an SERVO DRIVER is installed in a device or control board and shipped, make sure that the actual end user
receives this manual.
Please read and understand this manual, before installation of SERVO DRIVER, connection (wiring), operation, and
maintenance check.
This product and the contents of this manual may be changed without a preliminary announcement for improvement.

[Types and Meanings of Warning Indications]
In this Instruction Manual, safety ranking is distinguished as "WARNING" and "CAUTION."
Warning indication Meaning
WARNING If operation is incorrect, a dangerous situation may occur, resulting in death or serious
injuries.
CAUTION Where wrong handling may cause injury of a user and where it may only cause some
physical damage.
Even where indicated "CAUTION," a serious result may be brought about depending on circumstances.
Be sure to observe what is written, as they are important in either case.
After reading through the Manual, be sure to keep it where users could see at any time.
In this Manual, the following symbols are used as needed.

[Precautions]
Please thoroughly read through this Instruction Manual and understand the devices and all the precautions before
using the product.
Do not touch the external regenerative resistor which bears a high temperature. You may
get burned.
Provide a cover on the resistor to avoid free touching. Touching may cause a burn.
Never touch components inside the resistor unit and live terminal blocks as you may receive an
electric shock.
WARNING
Do not place anything flammable around the regenerative resistor. It may cause ignition.
Be sure to wire a thermistor cable.
When a thermistor operates (when it is in the open position), shut off the main power
supply of the servo amplifier. It may otherwise cause ignition and breakage.
Never short-circuit both ends of a thermistor cable. It will obstruct detection of overheating
of a resistor. In addition, it may cause ignition and breakage.
Do not make alterations. It may cause ignition and breakage.
Do not use it in combination with other resistors (either serial or parallel). It may cause
ignition and breakage.
CAUTION
Perform wiring properly and securely.
Wrong wiring may cause a burnout. It may also cause injury.
For the wiring method, see the user's manual for the corresponding servo amplifier.
Be careful about thermal influence to peripherals.
A regenerative resistor bears high temperature and increases ambient temperature. Use it
after checking if it satisfies specifications (ambient temperature/environment for installation)
of peripherals installed nearby.

[Free-of-charge Warranty Period and Warranty Details]

・Free-of-charge warranty period
(1)The product warranty period is ''1 year from the date of purchase'' or 24 months from the manufacturing date imprinted on the
name place, whichever date is earlier.
(2)However, in cases where the use environment, conditions of use, use frequency and times used, etc.,have an effect on product
life, this warranty period may not apply.
(3) Furthermore, the warranty period for parts restored by Fuji Electric's Service Department is ''6 months from the date that repairs
are completed.''

・Warranty range
(1) In the event that breakdown occurs during the product's warranty period which is the responsibility of Fuji Electric, Fuji Electric
will replace or repair the part of the product that has broken down free of charge at the place where the product was purchased
or where it was delivered. However, if the following cases are applicable, the terms of this warranty may not apply.
1) The breakdown was caused by inappropriate conditions, environment, handling or use methods, etc. which are not specified
in the catalog, operation manual, specifications or other relevant documents.
2) The breakdown was caused by the product other than the purchased or delivered Fuji's product.
3) The breakdown was caused by the product other than Fuji's product, such as the customer's equipment or software design,
etc.
4) Concerning the Fuji's programmable products, the breakdown was caused by a program other than a program supplied by
this company, or the results from using such a program.
5) The breakdown was caused by modifications or repairs affected by a party other than Fuji Electric.
6) The breakdown was caused by a science or technical problem that was not foreseen when making practical application of
the product at the time it was purchased or delivered.
7) The product was not used in the manner the product was originally intended to be used.
8) The breakdown was caused by a reason which is not this company's responsibility, such as lightning or other disaster.
(2) Furthermore, the warranty specified herein shall be limited to the purchased or delivered product alone.
(3) The upper limit for the warranty range shall be as specified in item (1) above and any damages (damage to or loss of
machinery or equipment, or lost profits from the same, etc.) consequent to or resulting from breakdown of the purchased or
delivered product shall be excluded from coverage by this warranty.

・Trouble diagnosis
As a rule, the customer is requested to carry out a preliminary trouble diagnosis. However, at the customer's request, this
company or its service network can perform the trouble diagnosis on a chargeable basis. In this case, the customer is asked to
assume the burden for charges levied in accordance with this company's fee schedule.
[Non-liability for warranty such as loss of opportunity]
Regardless of whether a breakdown occurs during or after the free of charge warranty period, this company shall not be liable for
any loss of opportunity, loss of profits, or damages arising from special circumstances, secondary damages, accident
compensation to another company, or damages to products other than this company's products, whether foreseen or not by this
company, which this company is not be responsible for causing.
[Repair Period and Supply Period of Service Parts after Discontinuation of production]
Concerning models (products) which have gone out of production, this company will perform repairs for a period of 7 years after
production stop, counting from the month and year when the production stop occurs. In addition, we will continue to supply the
spare parts required for repairs for a period of 7 years, counting from the month and year when the production stop occurs.
However, if it is estimated that the life cycle of certain electronic and other parts is short and it will be difficult to procure or
produce those parts, there may be cases where it is difficult to provide repairs or supply spare parts even within this 7-year
period. For details, please confirm at our company's business office or our service office.
