Bedienungsanleitung
Sehr geehrter Kunde,
Wir bedanken uns für den Kauf dieses hochwertigen Produktes. Zum optimalen Einsatz und zur
sicheren Verwendung lesen Sie bitte diese Anleitung vor Inbetriebnahme. Bewahren Sie bitte die
Anleitung als Referenz für zukünftige Fragen auf.
Funktionen:
• Sendet den Ton eines Ultra-HD HDMI-Signals per HDMI an einen AV-Receiver oder eine
Soundbar, mit Unterstützung von 7.1 Tonformaten wie Dolby Atmos
• Verlustfreie Durchleitung eines HDMI-Signals bis 18 Gbit/s
• HDMI Audio Extractor zur Tonausgabe stereo analog und digital optisch
• Unterstützt ARC und sendet den Fernsehton per HDMI und optischen Digitalausgang
EDID-Schalter
Über EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) signalisiert ein angeschlossener Fernseher,
AV-Receiver oder Projektor seine Fähigkeiten (einschließlich unterstützter Bildauflösung und Ton-
format). Dann gibt die HDMI-Quelle das am besten unterstützte Signal aus - Plug & Play. Beim
HD Audio Extractor können Sie wählen, welches Tonformat der Quelle signalisiert und dadurch
ausgegeben wird.
ARC (Audio Return Channel)
Schalten Sie ARC ein, um den Ton des Fernsehers auszugeben. Das ist praktisch, wenn Sie das
interne Empfangsteil oder eine App des Smart-TV nutzen. Der Fernseher muss dazu ARC unter-
stützen. Diese Funktion ist nur an einem HDMI-Anschluss des Fernsehers verfügbar und muss dort
aktiviert werden. Der Fernsehton steht als digitaler Stereo- oder 5.1 Ton am optischen Digitalaus-
gang und HDMI out 2 an (nicht analog). ARC schaltet sich nach kurzer Zeit aus, wenn kein Ton via
ARC geliefert wird.

Installation und Betrieb
1. Schließen Sie die HDMI-Signalquelle (z.B. Bluray-Player) an den HDMI-Eingang.
2. Verbinden Sie ein HDMI Display (z.B. Fernseher oder Projektor) mit den HDMI out 1 Ausgang.
Schließen Sie einen AV-Receiver oder Soundbar an HDMI out 2 an.
3. Die Audio-Ausgänge digital optisch und 3,5 mmm Klinke können Sie alternativ oder zusätz-
lich belegen.
4. Verbinden Sie das Netzteil mit dem HDMI HD-Audio Extractor und stecken Sie es in eine
Steckdose. Schalten Sie dann die HDMI-Endgeräte ein, anschließend die Quelle.
Achtung: Achten Sie beim Ein- und Ausstecken der HDMI Kabel darauf, dass die Steckerkontakte
nicht verschmutzt oder beschädigt werden. Nehmen Sie Anschlüsse stromlos vor und schalten Sie
die Geräte erst nach dem Verbinden ein. Achten Sie bitte auch auf eine gute Qualität der HDMI-
Kabel - insbesondere bei 4k Übertragung.
• Bitte decken Sie das Gehäuse nicht ab und bauen Sie das Gerät nicht ein, um eine
Überhitzung zu vermeiden.
• Von Wärmequellen, Wasser und Feuchtigkeit fernhalten.
• Stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät oder die Anschlusskabel.
• Öffnen oder bohren Sie keine Löcher in das Gehäuse.
• Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil oder achten Sie beim Austausch auf identische
Leistungsdaten.
• Reinigen Sie die Geräteoberfläche nur mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch. Benutzen Sie da-
für bitte kein scharfes Reinigungsmittel, Benzin oder Ähnliches.
• Bei längerem Nicht-Gebrauch ziehen Sie bitte den Netzstecker.
Service
Service-Fälle: Eine Überprüfung des Gerätes durch qualifiziertes Fachpersonal ist in folgenden
Fällen nötig.
• Gegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten sind in das Gerät eingedrungen.
• Das Gerät arbeitet nicht normal oder die Leistung hat sich verändert.
• Das Gerät wurde fallen gelassen oder das Gehäuse ist beschädigt.
Service-Personal: Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren oder zu öffnen. Wenden Sie
sich an geschultes Fachpersonal.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung Ihres Gerätes besteht ausschließlich aus wiederverwertbaren Materialien. Bitte
führen Sie diese entsprechend sortiert wieder dem „Dualen System” zu. Über aktuelle Entsor-
gungswege informieren Sie sich bitte bei Ihrem Händler oder Ihrer kommunalen Entsorgungsein-
richtung / Recyclinghof.
Entsorgung des Gerätes
Altgeräte sind kein wertloser Abfall. Durch umweltgerechte Entsorgung können wertvolle Rohstoffe
wieder gewonnen werden. Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den norma-
len Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von
elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.

Thank you for purchasing this high quality product. Please read these instructions before installa-
tion to ensure optimum use and safety. Please keep this manual for future reference.
Functions:
• Transmits the sound of an Ultra-HD HDMI signal via HDMI to an AV receiver or a sound bar,
supports 7.1 formats like Dolby Atmos
• Lossless transmission of an HDMI signal up to 18 Gbit/s
• HDMI Audio Extractor for stereo analog audio output or digital audio SPDIF Toslink
• Supports ARC and broadcasts TV sound via HDMI and optical digital output
EDID switch
EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is used by a connected TV, AV receiver or projector to
signal its capabilities (including supported picture resolution and sound format). Then the HDMI
source outputs the best supported signal - Plug & Play. With this HD-Audio Extractor, you can
choose which audio format the source should output. If you select 7.1, the source will be notified
that all sound formats can be played. Therefore, the best possible sound format will be provided.
ARC (Audio Return Channel)
Turn on ARC to output the sound from the TV. This is convenient if you are using the internal receiv-
er or an app of the Smart TV. The TV must support ARC. This function is only available on one HDMI
port of the TV and must be activated there. The TV sound is available as digital stereo or 5.1 sound
at the optical digital output and HDMI out 2 (not analog). ARC will turn off after a short time if no
sound is delivered via ARC.

Installation and operation
• Connect the HDMI signal source (e.g. Blu-ray player) to the HDMI input.
• Connect an HDMI display (such as a TV or projector) to the HDMI out 1 output. Connect an
AV receiver or sound bar to HDMI out 2. You can connect the audio outputs digital optical
and 3.5 mmm jack alternatively or additionally.
• Connect the power supply to the HDMI HD-Audio Extractor and plug it into an electrical out-
let. Then switch on the HDMI terminals, then the source.

Caution: Make sure that the HDMI plug contacts are not dirty or damaged when connecting or
disconnecting the HDMI cables. Make connections without power and switch on the devices only
after connecting them. Please also pay attention to a good quality of the HDMI cables. Good
cables usually have a large diameter.
• Please do not cover the housing or install the device to avoid overheating.
• Keep away from heat sources, water and moisture.
• Do not place heavy objects on the device or the connection cables.
• Do not open or drill holes in the housing.
• Use only the supplied power adaptor or ensure identical performance data when replacing.
• Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the unit. Please do not use aggressive clean-
ing agents, gasoline or the like.
If the unit will not be used for a longer period of time, please unplug it from the mains.
Service
Service cases: The device must be checked by qualified personnel in the following cases:
• Objects or liquids have penetrated the device.
• The unit is not operating normally or performance has changed.
• The unit has been dropped or the housing is damaged.
Service personnel: Do not attempt to repair or open the unit yourself. Contact trained specialist
personnel.

Funzioni:
• Trasmette il suono di un segnale HDMI Ultra-HD tramite HDMI ad un ricevitore AV o ad una
barra audio, supporta i formati 7.1 come il Dolby Atmos
• Trasmissione senza perdita di segnale HDMI fino a 18 Gbit/s
• Estrattore audio HDMI per uscita audio analogica stereo o audio digitale SPDIF Toslink
• Supporta ARC e trasmette l’audio della TV tramite HDMI e uscita digitale ottica
Interruttore EDID
EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) viene utilizzato da un televisore, ricevitore AV o pro-
iettore collegato per segnalare le sue capacità (inclusa la risoluzione dell’immagine e il formato
audio supportati). Quindi la sorgente HDMI emette il miglior segnale supportato - Plug & Play. Con
questo estrattore audio HD, è possibile scegliere il formato audio che la sorgente deve emettere.
Se si seleziona 7.1, alla sorgente verrà notificato che tutti i formati audio possono essere riprodot-
ti. Pertanto, verrà fornito il miglior formato audio possibile.
ARC (canale di ritorno audio)
Attivare ARC per emettere il suono dal televisore. Questo è comodo se si utilizza il ricevitore
interno o un’applicazione della Smart TV. Il televisore deve supportare ARC. Questa funzione è
disponibile solo su una porta HDMI del televisore e deve essere attivata. Il suono del televisore è
disponibile come stereo digitale o come suono 5.1 sull’uscita digitale ottica e uscita HDMI 2 (non
analogica). ARC si spegne dopo poco tempo se non viene emesso alcun suono tramite ARC.

Installazione e funzionamento
• Collegare la sorgente del segnale HDMI (ad es. lettore Blu-ray) all’ingresso HDMI.
• Collegare uno schermo HDMI (come un televisore o un proiettore) all’uscita HDMI out 1.
