This limited warranty offered by Fleximounts covers defects in material or workmanship in new Fleximounts
products. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Only consumers purchasing
Fleximountsproducts from authorized Fleximounts retailers or resellers may benefit from our limited warranty.
What is Covered?
The Fleximounts limited warranty covers our products against defects in material or workmanship as follows:
Fleximounts Ceiling Storage Lifts purchased on or August 1, 2020 include a 3-year warranty (1000 times manually
raised and lowered).
What are your Remedies?
Fleximounts will replace at no charge to the consumer the defective parts only or, at Fleximounts's option, replace
any product or part of the product that is defective because of improper workmanship and/or material, under normal
installation, use, service and maintenance. If Fleximounts is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not
practical or cannot be completed in a timely fashion, Fleximounts may elect to refund the purchase price in
exchange for the return of the product. In the rare event that your Fleximounts product is defective, we will provide
you with a replacement item shipped at no cost to you within the continental United States. The shipping method for
replacement products is FedEx Ground, but expedited shipping is available if you choose to pay the additional
expense. In addition, you will need to pay the shipping costs if any products need to be shipped to you at an
address outside the continental United States.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT (OR, IN LIMITED CIRCUMSTANCES, REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE) AS
PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. FlEXIMOUNTS
NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO CREATE FOR IT ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR
LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT.
What Is Not Covered?
Our limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
1. Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
2. Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper
maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident or alteration.
3. Accessories, connected materials and products, or related products not manufactured by Fleximounts.
4. Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions and guidelines relating to the
product's intended use.
Our limited warranty is void if a product is returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels or any alterations
(including removal of any component or external cover).
How to File a Claim?
In order to receive the benefit of our limited warranty, you need to process your claim in compliance with the terms
of this limited warranty and follow proper return procedure. To request warranty service, please contact customer
service via email at contact@Fleximounts.comor toll free at 855-421-2808. You will need to provide the sales receipt
or other evidence of the date and place of purchase for your Fleximounts product.
Implied Warranties and Limitation of Damages
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES (INCLUDING
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY, AND FlEXIMOUNTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY
OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF FLEXIMOUNTS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF
THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty or the exclusion or limitation of
special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
Governing Law
This Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without giving effect to any conflict of
laws principles that may provide the application of the law of another jurisdiction.
How State Law Applies
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Note:To fast the installation, we recommend to use electrical drill for tightening the screws and bolts.
SAFETYWARNING
This product contains small items that could be a choking hazard if swallowed. Keep these
items away from young children.
● Make sure these instructions are read and completely understood before attempting
installation. If you are unsure of any part of this installation, please contact a professional
installer for assistance.
● The ceiling must be capable of supporting the combined weight of the garage storage lift
and your stuff. Otherwise, the structure and weight capacity of the ceiling must be reinforced.
● Proper tools must be used. A minimum of two people are required for this installation.
Failure to install properly can result in property damage or serious injury.
● Check joint parts every two months, making sure the screws have not loosened.
● This product is designed to be installed on a wooden ceiling or solid concrete ceiling.
Before installation, make sure that the weight capacity of the ceiling will support the
combined load of the rack and your stuff. Never exceed the maximum load capacity of the
product 300 lbs(136 kg), or else it may result in product damage or physical injury.
● When choosing a location for your Ceiling Storage Lift, make sure there is enough room to
raise and lower the platform. All obstructions and people should be moved out of the way
when raising or lowering.
Note: This product is intended for indoor use only. Use of this product outdoors could lead to
product damage or physical injury.

Check the spacing of your ceiling joists to ensure that the spacing of two ceiling joists attaching
the two ends of the connecting rod is 48".
Connect the axle support (4) to the gearbox (3) with flange bearing (A) using screws (E) and
tighten with 5 x 5 mm cross hex key (G).
Pay attention to the gearbox direction.

2. Drill a 2.8'' (70mm) deep 0.2'' (5mm) diameter pilot hole at the center of each marked point.
1. Use a stud finder to locate the wooden ceiling joists. Then use the installation template to mark the
mounting points.

Step 4: Install Axle
Insert cotter pin (C) and bend one end
of it to prevent the axle from falling off.
Insert one side of the axle (5) into the gear box first and fix it with screws (F) and nuts (F). Tighten
with socket wrench (I); Stretch the axle to the other side and insert into the axle support (6). Then
fix the other side with screw (F) and nut (F), and tighten it with M8 socket wrench (I).

Step 5: Install Connecting Rods and Fixed Plates

1. Connect the connecting rod (7) to
the fixed plate (8) with screws (D), and
tighten it with a 5x5 wrench (G). 2. Connect the other end of the connecting rod (7)
to the axle support (6), and then tighten it with a
3x3 wrench (G); Repeat for the other connecting
rod assembly.
3. Mark the holes on the fixed plate (8)
on the ceiling joist with a pencil, and
drill holes.

4. Install the fixed plate (8) to the wooden joist
using tapping screws (B1) and flat washers (B3).
Tighten with socket wrench (I); Repeat the above
step for installing the other fixed plate.

Pass the wire rope in the axle (5) through the pulley in the fixed plate (8).

Use nuts (H) and flat washers (H) to fix the wire grids and platform supports (9) to the eyebolt
screw and tighten with M8 socket wrench (I).

Disassemble the J-bolt and nut (C1) as shown below, then use them to attach the wire grids (10)
to the platform supports (9). Then reassemble and tighten the nuts to the J-bolt with M6 socket
wrench (I).

2. Ensure that the wire rope is evenly wound
around the axle. If cables do not wind evenly, be
sure that all wires are under equal tension while
the frame is suspended.

1. Before using this product, use the
winding pole (2) to pull out safety lock
on the gear box, push inward to lock
after use.
For your safety, do not park a car or walk directly
under the product for at least 1 hour, to be sure
that the unit is installed correctly. Never play on
or around the product.

Place the winding pole (2) through loop on the
gear drive (3), then fix the hand crank (1) to the
bottom of the winding pole (2) with screws (C).
Note: the winding pole can be operated either
with the included hand crank (1) or with a
power drill (drill not included).

Use of Metal Expansion Bolt
Drill hole. Tap the metal expansion bolt. Tighten the screw
with a socket wrench.
Correct
The metal expansion bolt is needed if installing to a concrete ceiling.
