Preface
Thank you for buying a Flying Quixote product.
This guide is a quick tool to support the official manuals of the AERMACCHI MB339
aircraft that can be downloaded in the "Doc" section of our website.
www.flyingquixote.it
For the normal and emergency procedures implemented in the product we recommend
referring to such documents since the aircraft, being programmed with the manufacturer's
factory data and the procedures indicated by it, can be used safely and satisfactorily only by
following this type of documentation.
The purpose of this guide is to explain how to install and activate the product and to indicate
the specific features of using it.

3Quick Start guide to keys and features
Some features of the aircraft, especially for some objects that have multiple modes (e.g.
switch guards or the cut-off position unlock function of the engine handle) are implemented
using the right mouse button let's see what they are.
3.1 Posizione Canopy
With the canopy mode semi-opened on 1 (placing the mouse on the semi-angle block) at the
press of the shift-E keys the canopy will be semi-open. This mode is allowed for the hot season
because, since the aircraft does not have an air conditioning system, taxiing with the roof closed
could be prohibitive.
By clicking with the dx button on the block itself, the canopy will open completely

The mouse's dx key allows you to change from position 0/1 to which the roof at shift-E press will
open partially or completely.

3.2 Throttle lever block Idle/Cut off position.
Also to move the handle unlocking stick from the Idle/cut off position used in the on and off
phase of the aircraft, use a dx button. Pressing the right mouse key when the mouserect is
positioned on the mantle body will switch the indicator from on (active lock) to off (off lock).
When the block is off, the handle can be placed on a cut/off, causing the engine to shut
down.

3.3 Security Lids
Some of the keys attached to delicate features, which were accidentally used that could
jeopardize flight safety, are covered with protective quarts.
To raise the lids you need to interact with them using the right mouse button. Once it is lifted you
can always press on it with the sx button of the mouse to move the underlying switch.

3.4 Clock
The clock has a stopwatch mode (normally used in various procedures such as engine start,
take-off, or control and testing flights such as I post IRAN or periodic inspections). Pressing once
on the top-right button with the left mouse button the hands reset and the stopwatch starts.
Pressing again will stop you allowing you to mark the time, pressing again you return to the time
mode.
