Tool Use and Care
1. Do not force the power tool.Usethepowertool
correctlyforyourapplication.Thecorrectusewill
dothejobbetterandsaferattherateforwhichit
wasdesigned.
2. Do not use the power tool if the switch can’t
turn the tool on and off.Anypowertoolthat
cannotbecontrolledwiththeswitchisdangerous

3. Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or the battery pack from the power tool

Electrical Safety
1. The charger’s plug must match the outlet.

2. Use this battery-operated tool only with its
specically designated battery pack. Useofany

Battery Tool Use and Care
1. Recharge your tool’s battery only with the
charger specied by the manufacturer. A
chargerthatissuitableforonetypeofbatterypack
maycreateariskofrewhenusedwithanother
batterypack.
2. Use power tools only with their specically
designated battery packs. Useofanyother
batterypacksmaycreateariskofinjuryandre.
3. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, which can make a connection from
one terminal to another. Shortingthebattery
terminalstogethermaycauseburnsorare.
4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contactaccidentallyoccurs,ushwithwater.If
liquidcontactseyes,additionallyseekmedical
help.Liquidejectedfromthebatterymaycause
irritationorburns.

1. Haveyourpowertoolservicedbyaqualiedrepair
personusingonlyidenticalreplacementparts.

performing an operation where the cutting tool

mayoccurunderextremeusageortemperature
conditions.Thisdoesnotnecessarilyindicate
afailureofthebatterypack.However,ifthe
outersealisbrokenandthisleakagecomesinto
contactwithyourskin,washtheaffectedarea
quicklywithsoapandwater.Neutralizetheliquid
withamildacidsuchaslemonjuiceorvinegar;
Iftheleakagegetsinyoureyes,ushyoureyes
withcleanwaterforaminimumof10minutes
andseekimmediatemedicalattention.Informthe
medicalstaffthattheliquidisa25-35%solution
ofpotassiumhydroxide.
5) Neverattempttoopenthebatterypackforany
reason.Iftheplastichousingofthebatterypack
breaksopenorcracks,immediatelydiscontinue
itsuseanddonotrechargeit.
6) Donotstoreorcarryasparebatterypackina

9) Donotpullontheplugofthechargertodisconnect
itfromthepowersource.
10)Makesurethatthechargercableispositioned
whereitwillnotbesteppedon,trippedoveror
otherwisesubjectedtodamageorstress.
11) Donotuseanextensioncordunlessitisabsolutely
necessary.Theuseofanimproperextension
cordcouldcausetheriskofre,electricshockor
electrocution.
12)Donotusethechargerifithasbeensubjectedto
aheavyknock,droppedorotherwisedamagedin
anyway.Takethechargertoanauthorizedservice
centerforacheckorrepair.
13)Donotdisassemblethecharger.Takeittoan
authorizedservicecenterwhenserviceorrepairis
required.Incorrectre-assemblymayresultinthe
riskofre,electricshockorelectrocution.
14)Toreducetheriskofanelectricshock,unplugthe
chargerfromthepowersupplybeforeattempting

17)Ifyouwishtochargeasecondbatterypack,unplug
thechargerfromthemainssupplyandleaveitfor
atleast15minutes.Afterthistimeyoucancharge
asecondbatterypack.
C. Important Safety Instructions for Battery Pack
1) Thebatterypackforthistoolhasbeenshipped
inalowchargecondition.Youshouldchargethe
batterypackfullybeforeuse.
2) Toensurethelongestbatterylifeandbestbattery
performance,alwayschargethebatterywhenthe
airtemperatureisbetween18-24ºC(65-75ºF).Do
notchargethebatterypackwhenthetemperature
isbelow4ºC(40ºF),orabove40ºC(104ºF).Thisis
important.Failuretoobservethissafetyrulecould
causeseriousdamagetothebatterypack.
3) Donotincineratethebatterypackevenifitis
seriouslydamagedorcannolongerholdacharge.
Thebatterypackcanexplodeinare.

d) Plugthebatterychargerintohomesocket(120v)
andconnecttoadaptor,theredlightisonand
thegreenlightisoff.Wheninsertthebatteryin
thepowerconnectedcharger,theredlightand
thegreenlightareonatthesametime.Whenthe
batteryisfullycharged,theredlightisstillon,but
thegreenlightisoff.Theapproximatecharging
timeislessthan5hours,whenbatteryisfully
charged,usermustdisconnectthechargerfrom
thepowersupply.Pullthebatterypackoutofthe
adaptorforreadytouse.
e) Toinsertthebatterypack(10)intothetool,align
thetongueonthebatterypackwiththegroovein
thehousingandslipitintoplace.Alwaysinsertitall
thewayuntilitlocksinplacewithalittleclick.Ifnot,
itmayaccidentallyfalloutofthetool,causinginjury
toyouorsomeonearoundyou.(Pic.(A))

Changing Bits

Alwaysbesurethatthetoolisswitchedoffandthe
batterypackisremovedbeforecarryingoutanywork
onthetool.
Beforeanyactiononthetool(e.g.batterycharge,bit
changeandmaintenanceetc.)andafteroperation,set
uptherotationaldirectionswitchtothecenterposition
toavoidunintentionalactuationoftheon/offswitch.
1) Holdthechuckring(b)andturnthechuckcollar(a)
counter-clockwisetoopenthechuckjaws.Placethe
bitinthechuckasfarasitwillgo.
2) Holdthechuckring(b)rmlyandturnthechuck
collar(a)clockwisetotightenthechuck.
3) Toremovethebit,holdthechuckring(b)andturn
thechuckcollar(a)counter-clockwise.

Switching on:

thenkeepitpresseddown.
Switching off:

ASSEMBLY
Battery Charging
Tochargeyourtool`sbattery,usethesamemodel
chargerandbatterypackprovidedwithyourtool.Using
otherbatteriescanleadtoinjuriesandposeare
hazard.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after
the tool has been automatically switched off. The
batterycanbedamaged.
Thebatteryissuppliedpartiallycharged.Completely
chargethebatterybeforeusingyourpowertoolfor
thersttime.Thebatterycanbechargedatany
timewithoutreducingitsservicelife.Interruptingthe
chargingproceduredoesnotdamagethebattery
a) Settherotationaldirectionswitch(7)tothecenter
positioninordertoavoidunintentionalstarting.
b) Toremovethebatterypack(10)bypressingthe
batteryunlockingbutton(9)onbothsidesand
pullingthebatteryoutofthetool.
c) Toinsertthebatterypack(10)intotheadaptor
(15),alignthetongueonthebatterypackwiththe
grooveintheadaptor(15)andslipitintoplace.
Alwaysinsertitallthewayuntilitlocksinplace
withalittleclick.Ifnot,itmayaccidentallyfallout
oftheAdaptor(15),causinginjurytoyousomeone

Thegrippingsurface(softgrip)(8)reducesthedanger
ofslippingandtherebyimprovesthegriponthetool
andthehandling.Atthesametime,therubbercoating
achievesavibration-reducingeffect,foranincreased

frontofbatterypack(seepictureA).Push‘ON’button,
3LEDwilllightuptoindicatethecapacityofbattery
packasbelowtable.

Screwdriving Operation
Turnthetorquepreselectionring(3)totheposition
ofnumberandselectthetighteningtorque.Pushthe
rotationaldirectionswitch(7)lefttotheendtomakethe
rotationclockwise.SetupthegearspeedatGear1.
Placethepointofthedriverbitinthescrewheadand
applypressuretothetool.Startthetoolslowlyandthen
increasethespeedgradually.Releasetheswitch(1)as
soonastheclutchcutsin.
• Makesurethatthedriverbitisinsertedstraightin
thescrewhead,orthescrewand/orbitmaybe
damaged.
• Whendrivingwoodscrews,pre-drilledpilotholesto
makedrivingeasierandtopreventsplittingofthe
workpiece.Seethechart.
• Ifthetoolisoperatedcontinuouslyuntilthebattery
packhasdischarged,allowthetooltorestfor15
minutesbeforeproceedingwithafreshbattery.

Reversing the Rotational Direction

offswitch(1)actuated.
Clockwise Rotation

Counter-clockwise Rotation

Setting the Torque
Thetighteningtorquecanbeadjustedin19+1
settingsbyturningthetorquepreselectionring(3)so
thatitsgraduationsarealignedwiththepointer(4)on
thetoolbody.
Thetighteningtorqueisminimumwhenthenumber
1isalignedwiththepointerandmaximumwhenthe
symbol‘’isalignedwiththepointer.Theclutchwill
slipatvarioustorquelevelswhensetatthenumber
1to19andwilldeactivateonthe‘’position.Before
actualoperation,driveatrialscrewintoyourmaterial
orapieceofduplicatematerialtodeterminewhich
torqueisrequiredforaparticularapplication.
Gear Selection, Mechanical
Actuate the gear selector (4) only when the
machine is at a full stop.
Twospeedrangescanbeusedwiththegearselector
(4).
Gear 1:
Lowspeedrange(0-400RPM):forscrewdrivingor
workingwithlargedrillingdiameter.
Gear 2:
Highspeedrange(0-1300RPM);forworkingwith
smalldrillingdiameter.
Ifthegearselector(4)cannotbefullyengaged,lightly
rotatethedriverspindlewiththedrillbitbytwisting
thedrillchuck.
Adjusting the Speed
Thespeedofthemachinecanbevariablyadjusted,
dependingonhowfartheOn/Offswitch(1)is
pressed.LightpressureontheOn/Offswitch(1)
resultsinalowrotationalspeed.Heavypressureon
theswitchresultsinincreasedspeed.
Power Light
Thepowerlight(11)inthefrontofbatterypackwill
lightupwhenpushing‘ON’buttonandenables
illuminationofthescrewinglocationinunfavorable
lightconditions.Push‘OFF’buttontoswitchoffthe
powerlight.
Run-on Brake
WhentheOn/Offswitch(1)isreleased,thechuck
brakestoastop,thuspreventingtherun-onofthe
machine.Whendrivinginscrew,waituntilthescrew
isscrewedinushwiththematerialandthenrelease
theOn/Offswitch(1).Bydoingso,theheadofthe
screwdoesnotpenetrateintothematerial.
Operating Instructions
Apply the machine to the screw only when it is
switched off. Rotating tool inserts can slip off and
lead to injuries.
