Beoogd gebruik
Met de ForDig Reisstekker kunnen reizigers hun niet-geaarde 2-polige
apparaten in meer dan 150 landen wereldwijd veilig aansluiten. De
Reisstekker is bovendien uitgerust met een krachtige dubbele USB-
lader die 5 USB-apparaten van stroom kan voorzien. Dit apparaat heeft
geen andere toepassingen.
Het apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor het doel beschreven in deze
gebruiksaanwijzing. ForDig is niet aansprakelijk voor schade die het
gevolg is van oneigenlijk of onzorgvuldig gebruik.

Uitpakken
Vergelijk de onderdelen met de verpakkingsinhoud. Mis je een onder-
deel, neem dan contact met ons op via email:

Laat verpakkingsmateriaal niet achteloos rondslingeren. Het kan
gevaarlijk speelmateriaal worden voor kinderen. Gooi het
verpakkingsmateriaal pas weg als de Reisstekker is geïnstalleerd en
werkt.
WAARSCHUWING: Houd plastic zakken en folies uit de buurt van
baby's en kinderen om verstikkingsgevaar te voorkomen!

Het stopcontact

gebied, Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland, Groot-Brittannië, Singapore, Hong
Kong, Zuid-Afrika, India en andere landen en regio's.
Hoe gebruiken
STAP 1: Ervoor zorgen dat de spanning van je apparaat
compatibel is
1. Bepaal de spanning van het stopcontact dat je wilt gebruiken.
2. Controleer de spanning van het apparaat dat je op het stopcontact
wilt aansluiten.
3. Vergelijk de spanning van het stopcontact met de spanning van je
apparaat.
Opmerkingen:
Het voltage van sommige apparaten zal een bereik zijn (bijvoor-
beeld een 120-240 V apparaat).
Als je apparaat een dubbele spanningsschakelaar heeft, schuif je
deze naar de juiste spanning.
Als het stopcontact 100 V is en je apparaat 120 V, kun je de
Reisstekker gebruiken.
WAARSCHUWING: Als je de juiste spanning niet controleert, kan je
apparaat beschadigd raken.
STAP 2: Ervoor zorgen dat het wattage van je apparaat compatibel
is
Zoek de spanning van het stopcontact in de tabel op de volgende
pagina.
Als het wattage van je apparaat kleiner is dan of gelijk is aan het
corresponderende maximale wattage van het apparaat, kun je deze
Reisstekker met je apparaat gebruiken.
Als het wattage van je apparaat groter is dan het corresponderende
maximale wattage van het apparaat, is je Reisstekker niet
compatibel.

WAARSCHUWING: Sommige apparaten zoals scheerapparaat, föhn,
reisstrijkijzer of soortgelijke apparaten kunnen gebruikt worden mits hun
vermogen lager is dan het toegelaten maximum wattage. Controleer
altijd het label van het apparaat om te zien of het minder dan 10A -
2400W (240V) - 1100W (110V) nodig heeft. Sluit nooit een apparaat
aan dat meer dan 10A nodig heeft.
STAP 3: Je stekker selecteren (zie pagina 5).
Zorg ervoor dat alle schuifstekkers stevig in hun gesloten positie zijn
geplaatst. Kies de gewenste plug, druk de schuifstekker lichtjes in en
schuif deze naar voren totdat je een klikkend geluid hoort. Trek voor de
UK-stekker de geïsoleerde aardingspen uit de behuizing
Zekering vervangen (zie pagina 4)
1. Verwijder de doorgebrande zekering ①.
2. Haal de reserve zekering ②eruit en plaats ②in de oorspronkelijke
positie van ①. De Travel Adapter zou nu weer kunnen werken.
3. Je kunt de defecte zekering ①ook vervangen door een nieuwe
zekering. Alleen vervangen door type 250V 10A, maat 3.6*1.0mm.
WAARSCHUWING: Je moet alle apparaten verwijderen voordat je de
defecte zekering vervangt.

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig en neem vooral de
veiligheidsinstructies in acht. Als je de veiligheidsinstructies en
informatie over correct gebruik in deze handleiding niet opvolgt,
aanvaarden wij geen aansprakelijkheid voor eventueel daaruit
voortvloeiend persoonlijk letsel of schade aan eigendommen. In
dergelijke gevallen vervalt de garantie.

Deze Reisstekker werkt op zowel 110V als 230V, maar converteert
geen spanning en frequentie. Controleer voor gebruik de
ingangsspanning van het apparaat dat je wilt aansluiten. Het moet
overeenkomen met de spanning van het lokale elektriciteitsnet.
Sluit nooit een apparaat aan dat meer dan 6A nodig heeft.
Elk land heeft zijn voorschriften met betrekking tot het gebruik van
Reisstekkers. Controleer voor gebruik voor elk land.
Er is geen aarding aanwezig. Dit product is alleen bedoeld voor
gebruik met niet-geaarde of dubbel geïsoleerde apparaten.
Dit product is bedoeld voor gebruik door volwassenen en is niet
bedoeld voor gebruik door kinderen zonder toezicht. Kies de juiste
stekkerinstelling en sluit dit product aan voordat je toezicht houdt op
kinderen die apparaten gebruiken die op dit product zijn
aangesloten.
Dit product is ontworpen voor gebruik binnenshuis bij normale
temperaturen.
Houd de Reisstekker uit de buurt van vloeistoffen en vochtigheid.
Dit apparaat is niet waterdicht.
Gebruik de Reisstekker niet meer als deze niet goed werkt,
beschadigd is of in het water is gevallen.
De Reisstekker is alleen ontworpen voor tijdelijk gebruik en niet als
vervanging voor lokale stekkers en permanent gebruik.
Laat de Reisstekker niet in het stopcontact zitten als deze niet in
gebruik is.
Demonteer de Reisstekker niet. Onjuiste hermontage kan leiden tot
elektrische schokken of brand. Niet gebruiken wanneer beschadigd.
Repareer het apparaat niet zelf.
Reiniging - Onderhoud
Koppel het apparaat los van het elektriciteitsnet voordat je het
schoonmaakt.
Reinig het apparaat met een droge doek.
Gebruik in geen geval agressieve reinigingsmiddelen,
reinigingsalcohol of andere chemische oplossingen, omdat deze de

behuizing kunnen binnendringen of de functionaliteit kunnen
aantasten.
Reiniging mag niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij onder
toezicht.
Het apparaat heeft geen onderhoud nodig, demonteer het niet.
Opslag
Bewaar de Reisstekker op een plaats die niet wordt blootgesteld
aan zonlicht, vochtigheid en stofvrij.
Bewaar het apparaat niet bij extreem hoge of extreem lage
temperaturen.
Wij adviseren om het apparaat te reinigen voordat je het opbergt.
Afvalverweking - Recycling
Verwijdering van het apparaat
De richtlijn afval van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur
(AEEA) (2012/19/EU) is opgesteld om producten te recyclen
met behulp van de best beschikbare technieken voor
terugwinning en recycling om de impact op het milieu te
minimaliseren, gevaarlijke stoffen te behandelen en de
groeiende stortplaatsen te verminderen.
Dit product is geclassificeerd als elektrische of elektronische apparatuur,
dus zorg ervoor dat het aan het einde van de levensduur van dit product
op de juiste manier wordt weggegooid volgens de voorschriften van de
plaatselijke autoriteiten. Het mag niet met het huisvuil worden
weggegooid.
Voldoe aan je wettelijke verplichtingen en draag bij aan de bescherming
van het milieu.
Verwijdering van het verpakkingsmateriaal
Zorg ervoor dat plastic zakken, verpakkingen, enz. op de juiste manier
worden afgevoerd. Gooi deze materialen niet alleen bij het normale

huisvuil, maar zorg ervoor dat ze worden ingezameld voor recycling.
Volg de opmerkingen en markeringen op de verpakking.
Garantie
ForDig garandeert dat dit product gedurende één jaar vanaf de
aankoopdatum vrij zal zijn van materiaal- en fabricagefouten. ForDig
zal, naar eigen goeddunken, dit product of enig onderdeel van het
product dat defect blijkt te zijn tijdens de garantieperiode vervangen of
repareren. Vervanging vindt plaats door een nieuw of gereviseerd
product of onderdeel. Als het product niet langer beschikbaar is, kan
een vervanging worden gemaakt door een vergelijkbaar product van
gelijke of hogere waarde. Dit is je exclusieve garantie. Je vervangende
apparaat wordt kosteloos aan je geretourneerd en valt gedurende de
rest van de garantieperiode onder deze garantie.
Deze garantie is geldig voor de oorspronkelijke koper vanaf de datum
van eerste aankoop en is niet overdraagbaar. Een aankoopbewijs is
vereist om ondersteuning onder de garantie te verkrijgen.
Deze garantie dekt geen nalatig gebruik of misbruik van het product,
gebruik met een onjuiste spanning of stroom, en gebruik in strijd met de
bedieningsinstructies, demontage, reparatie of wijziging door iemand
anders dan ForDig.
WAARSCHUWING: Als je dit product om welke reden dan ook opent,
vervalt de garantie. De behuizing bevat geen onderdelen die door de
gebruiker kunnen worden gerepareerd.
Als er service nodig is, stuur dan een e-mail naar
[e-mail]. Houd het modelnummer en de
aankoopdatum bij de hand om ons te helpen je van dienst te zijn.
ForDig behoudt zich het recht voor om op elk moment, zonder
kennisgeving of verplichting, wijzigingen aan te brengen in kleuren,
specificaties, accessoires, materialen en modellen.

The ForDig Travel Adapter enables travelers to safely connect their
unearthed 2-pole devices in 150+ countries worldwide. The Travel
Adapter is equipped additionally with a powerful dual USB charger
which can give power to 5 USB devices. This device has no other uses.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in these
instructions for use. ForDig is not liable for damage resulting from
improper or careless use.

South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, America, the Chinese area,
Australia, New Zealand, Britain, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa,
India, and other countries and regions.
How to use
STEP 1: Making sure that your device voltage is compatible
1. Determine the voltage of the power outlet you want to use.
2. Check the voltage of the device you want to connect to the power
outlet.
3. Compare the power outlet voltage to your device’s voltage.
Notes:
The voltage of some devices will be a range (for example, a 120–
240V device).
If your device has a dual voltage switch, slide it to the correct
voltage.
If the power outlet is 100V and your device is 120V, you may use
the adapter.
WARNING: Failure to check the correct voltage could damage your
device.
STEP 2: Making sure that your device wattage is compatible
Find the power outlet voltage in the table on the next page.
If your device's wattage is less than or equal to the corresponding
max device wattage, you may use this Travel Adapter with your
device.
If your device's wattage is greater than the corresponding maximum
device wattage, then your Travel Adapter is not compatible.

WARNING: Some appliances such as shaver, hair dryer, travel iron or
similar appliances can be used provided their power is lower than the
allowed maximum wattage. Always check the appliance label to see if it
requires less than 10A - 2400W (240V) - 1100W (110V). Never connect
a device that requires more than 10A.
STEP 3: Selecting your plug (refer to page 15).
Make sure that all the sliders are placed securely into their closed
position. Choose the preferred plug, press the slider lightly and slide it
forward until you hear a clicking sound. For the UK plug, pull out the
insulated ground pin from the housing
Fuse replacement (refer to page 14)
1. Take out the blown fuse ①.
2. Take the spare fuse ②out and put ②into the original position of ①.
The Travel Adapter could work again.
3. You can also replace the blown fuse ①with a new fuse. Replace
only with type 250V 10A, size 3.6*1.0mm.
WARNING: You must remove all the devices before you change the
blown fuse.

information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for

invalidate the warranty.

This Travel Adapter operates on both 110V and 230V but it does
not convert voltage and frequency. Before use, please check the
input voltage of the device you want to connect. It must match the
local power network voltage.
Never connect a device that requires more than 6A.
Each country has its regulations regarding the use of Travel
Adapters. Please check for each country before use.
There is no grounding available. This product is for use with
unearthed or double-insulated appliances only.
This product is intended for adult use and is not intended for use by
unsupervised children. Choose the proper plug setting and plugin
this product, before supervising children using devices connected to
this product.
This product is designed for indoor use at normal temperatures.
Keep the Travel Adapter away from any kind of liquid and humidity.
This device is not waterproof.
Do not continue to use the adapter if it is not working properly, has
been damaged, or has been dropped in water.
The Travel Adapter is designed for temporary use only and not as a
replacement for local plugs and permanent use.
Do not leave the Travel Adapter in the power outlet when not in use.
Do not disassemble the adapter. Incorrect reassembly may result in
electric shock or fire. Do not use when damaged.
Do not self-repair the device.
Cleaning - Maintenance
Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning.
Clean the device with a dry cloth.
Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning
alcohol, or other chemical solutions since these can penetrate the
housing or impair functionality.

Cleaning must not be performed by children unless supervised.
The device does not require any maintenance, do not disassemble
it.
Storage
Store the Travel Adapter in a place not exposed to sunlight,
humidity, and dust-free.
Do not store the device in extremely high or extremely low
temperatures.
We advise cleaning the device before storage.
Disposal - Recycling
Device disposal
The Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Directive (2012/19/EU) has been put in place to recycle
products using the best available recovery and recycling
techniques to minimize the impact on the environment, treat
any hazardous substances, and avoid the increasing landfill.
This product is classed as Electrical or Electronic equipment so please
ensure that at the end of the life of this product it is disposed of correctly
following local authority requirements. It must not be disposed of with
household waste.
Fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
Packaging material disposal
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do
not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste,
but make sure they are collected for recycling. Please follow the notes
and markings on the packaging.

Warranty
ForDig guarantees that for one year from the date of purchase, this
product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. ForDig,
at its discretion, will replace or repair this product or any component of
the product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished product or
component. If the product is no longer available, a replacement may be
made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your
exclusive warranty. Your replacement unit will be returned to you for no
charge and will be covered under this warranty for the balance of the
warranty period.
This warranty is valid for the original purchaser from the date of initial
purchase and is not transferrable. Proof of purchase is required to
obtain support under the warranty.
This warranty does not cover negligent use or misuse of the product,
use with an improper voltage or current, and use contrary to the
operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone
other than ForDig.
WARNING: Opening this product for any reason voids the warranty.
There are no user-serviceable parts in the case.
