Operational Notes
“ If the MP3 player will not be operated for aprolonged period, remove the battery
to avoid possibledamage caused by electricalleakage.
“ The MP3 player should be kept in areas freefrom extreme temperature changes,
moisture and dust.
“ Set the HOLD switch to release position before operation

“ Battery life may vary depending on usage condition and manufacturedate.
“ Please change the battery under Low Battery indicator displayed.(All buttons
are not responding even after the batteryhas been taken out and replaced)
“ Do not use the player for a very long periodin order to protect your audioability

Load battery
Open the battery compartment andload one AAA7 batteryas directed by
"+"and"-"
When the LCD displays Low Battery it indicates
a need of batterychange. Turn offthe machine
before replacing a newbattery.
The HELLO greeting appearswhen button is pressed.The length of timefor the
backlight to stay onis depending on userpreference.
Switching the power offby pressing on the button continuously. BYEBYE will
appear on the screenbefore the machine hasswitched off.

Note: Only in stopmode, hold play/stop buttonto switch off themachine. If the
machine is playing, pleasestop playing first beforeswitching off.

Volume adjustment can be
displayed by digit change
VOL+/ VOL-
By pressing VOL+/VOL- button,you could control thevolume under either Playor Pause
mode. The volume steps(see illustration) will increaseor decrease when thenthe VOL+
/VOL- button is pressedcorrespondingly.
Repeat A-B function
Under music/voice mode, youcan press A-B/EQbutton to selectA and B,then A-B musicor
voice will play continuously. Press A-B/EQbutton to cancel, LCDdisplays as:
Remark: Under stop mode, thisfunction is out of operation.Press A-B/EQ/REC
for a period of timeto change into EQ setting.

Under the playing mode,press A-B/EQ buttonfor a period oftime to select 6different
music modes: Normal, DBB,Jazz, Rock, Classical, andPop. LCD displays as:

Interpreting the message regardingmusic file and voicefile
When in play/stop status,the display will showthe number of musicor voice file, e.g.003. After
the file number isthe current playing timeof the music orvoice file. The totaltime for the music
and voice file isshown at the beginningwhen the file startsplaying (for 1 second)

Under STOP mode, press FUNCTION and + at the same time,then you will seethe

Under music mode, press FUNCTION button to enter voicemode. Under voice mode,you can
select play/record/repeat/A-B/RW/FF/V+,-/EQ setting.

Under Voice Function,press A-B/EQ button and you willsee that REC MIC has appeared
on the screen. Press A-B/EQ again to start recording.Display is the sameas follows:
At the mean time,if you press and during REC MIC appeared on the screen,the
CD line-in function webe activated. Under CDline-in mode, press A-B/REC to start the
file transfer from CDto Mp3 player.The screen will showthe same display asabove
Note: Under CD Line in function, to prevent
voice distortion you can adjustthe volume
properly.

The operating procedure isthe same as playingnormal music files
Remarks: A-B repeating function can only function in play/stop status. EQ mode can
only be changed by pressing the A-B/EQ button under play/stop/pause status. It cannot
function in recording mode.
Erase voice files
Under "STOP"status of voicemode, press FUNCTION and + at the same time,then you will
see the following appearedon the screen:

Press Function button for a whileto auto search andmemorize radio channels.
When the LCDdisplays SFARCH (fig. 1), youcan not cancelits operation until
the auto searchhas finished. Whenthe searching processhas finished, thescreen
will show thefirst channel andhow its frequency(fig. 2). RVHCcan memorize radio
channels as many as32 channels.
Press Function button to enterFM tuner mode. (Adjust the directionof earphone
line to get betterradio effect)

FM fine tuner
Press to fine tune.By pressing A-B/EQ button for a moment,the machine will memorizethe
current radio frequency.If you want torepeat the auto searchfunction, press stop/play buttonuntil
appeared on the screen,then press to activatethe auto search functionagain. Similarly, ifyou
want to fine tuneany channels, you onlyneed to press play/stopbutton once till the disappeared from
the screen. You may now finetune the channel bypress the A-B/EQ button for a while.

select the memorized channel: Stereo may
appear according to the strength of signal.
lFM Recording
Press A-B/EQ button to start recordingthe current listening radiochannel.

Press the same buttonagain to stop recording.You canplay the recorded file
in voice mode. Thedisplay is shown below:

The default backlight ontime is 10 seconds.When you are operatingthe player,
the backlight will turnon for 10 seconds.
Press FUNCTION button to return tovoice playing mode. Press and to search for
the recorded orLine infiles and press playbutton to play thefile. Youcan treat the fileas
common music file torun EQ setup andother related functions
Operation of FMfiles in PC
When the USB connectionbetween the mp3 playerand PC has completed,you can find that
there is a foldercalled FM in the player.Inside you can findthe recorded FM files.
Just like other musicfiles, you can rename,copy or delete theRecorded FM files.
Press FUNCTION button to quit FMtuner mode and backto music or voicemode.
EQ Configuration: 6 differentEQ modes ( pleaserefer to p13 forconfiguration)
In order to lowerthe power consumption, thismachine is designed toauto power-
off if it hasbeen idled for 1minute.
