Get Started
The following topics give you all the information you need to set up your device and wireless service for
the first time.

Charge the Battery
Follow these instructions to charge your device's embedded battery using the included
USB Cable.
1. Plug USB cable into USB port of PC
2. Connect the USB cable with 4 pogo pins in backside of device

Battery Charging Cautions
Charging Conditions: Under low temperatures charging performance decreases. Charge your
device in temperatures between 0°C –40°C. Do not charge in places where there is high humidity.
Use Supplied Accessories: Always use the supplied USB cable.
Precaution for Extended Use: Your device may become hot when used for a long time or while
charging, especially in high temperatures. Prolonged contact with skin may cause low-temperature
burn injuries.
Turn Your Device On
Press 1 second, LED turns ON once device powers ON and is GREEN for 2 sec
Turn Your Device OFF
Press the button .for 7 seconds
After 7 seconds, LED blinks Amber every 500 milliseconds to imply action needed. Quick button press
within 2-3 seconds stops LED blinking and confirms power down. LED shuts off. Also sends a location
update with shut off status.

.How to Download the APP
Step 1: Power UP the device and Activate
By pressing the button for 1 sec. device turns on with green LED and beeper
When device is power on, the device will be activated automatically for next 2 ~ 3 min.
Step 2: Download the App
Visit your App store on your smartphone.
Search for “Smart Locator"
Find the App, download and install.
Create Username and Password
Step 3: Begin registering your tracker device
Register your IMEI of the device via Bluetooth.
a. If not successful via Bluetooth, scan the IMEI 2D barcode number located in the device or
on the packaging box.
b. If not successful via IMEI barcode scan, you can enter 15 digit IMEI number manually
Step 4: Create a profile and Virtual Geo-Fence
Create your profile during the setup
Create your Geo-fence by drawing your own fence boundary either circular format or free format
Create your Geo-fence by selecting home Wi-Fi SSID.

delays or losses of data are rare when wireless devices are used in a normal manner with a well-
constructed network, your device should not be used in situations where failure to transmit or receive data

injury, death, or loss of property. Franklin Wireless accepts no responsibility for damages of any kind
resulting from delays or errors in data transmitted or received using your device, or for failure of your
device to transmit or receive such data.
Safety and Hazards
Do not operate your device under the following conditions.

●Where explosive atmospheres may be present
●Near medical equipment
●Near life support equipment, or any equipment that may be susceptible to any form of radio

In such areas, your device MUST BE POWERED OFF. Your device can transmit signals that could
