2.Initial connectingand Setting
2.1. Connect the Phone
Step 1:
Connectthe handsetto the handsetport bythe handsetcable in the package.
Step 2:
Connectthe DC plugtothe Power port onthe real ofthe phone. The attached AC
adapterwill be suitable foreither110Vor240VACoutletinyour country.
Step 3:
Beforeyou connectthe phonetothe network, pleasecheck and consult an experience
people oryourinternet service providerfor whatkind of yournetwork isusing. In this
manual,we assumeyou areusing anADSL/CableModem and prefertoconnectwith
the IPcall-200 directlyatoffice orhome to access the internetasthe Fig.1 below.

Ifyou haveaPCtoshare the networkconnection, make aconnection asthe
Fig.2 asbelow.

Step 4:
First,disconnectthe Ethernetcable of Modem fromthecomputerand attach it to
the WANport onthe backof IPcall-200 phone. Next,usethe attached Ethernetcable
inthe package to plug-inthe LAN port on the backof the phone andthe otherend to
your computer. You can ignorethisstep if youhaveno computertobe used inthe
same network. YourIPPhone sharesa networkconnection withyourcomputer now.
Step 5:
Slide the Powerswitch on the rear ofthe phone to ON,LCD screen will displays
“Initializing…”.until the realtimeclock toshow thecurrent date, timeand theBanner
of “COMPUTECIPCALL orIPcall-200”.Nowyourphone isreadytobe modified
against for personalsetting ofMODEM.
IfyourLCD screen might displays like “WAN Disconnected”, you need to check
the network connection or ifthe Cat-5 plugged inthe properport correctly.Incase
LCD shows “Initializing Failed”,you nee tocheck what kind of the current
broadbandprotocol isusing.Youmaycheck the followingparagraph tocomparethe
currentsetting. Ifyou aresurethata DHCProuterisnotusedand the IPcall-200 is
connectedtotheADSL/CableModemdirectlyalready,you can followthe next
paragraph tocomplete the setting.
2.2. InitialSetting
ThisPhone supports ADSL/CableModem that was supplied by your localISP
provider. Infact,the CPUinthe phone doesabletoconfigureall ofnecessarysetting
ofDHCP automatically bydefault since power-up forRouterusers. Fora modemuser,

it isrequired tomodifythe parameters manuallywhen youarethe 1st timetouse this
phone.
2.2.1. Setting for MODEM mode
1. Press theMENU key,and press the DOWN keytwice, the LCDscreenwill display
“3Network”.Then press the Enterkey three times, theLCD screen will display
the currentmode like“DHCP”.
2. Press theRIGHTof navigator keys to find until screen shows “<>PPPoE”.Press
the same keythatshowing “Save”to accept,LCD responds “Saved”and now the
Netmode ischanged for the Modem. Press QUITkey fourtimes to exit for
ON-HOOKmode.
3. Followa severalstepsto finish the setting. To dothis, press the MENUkey, and
press the DOWN keytwice, then ENTERkeytwice, NEXT key twice, nowyou see
“1. PPPoESET”appear.Then press ENTERand LCD shows “Account”.Press
EDITonce, you can inputyourAccount Name which youuse it to subscribe for
accessing internet throughthe keyboard according to the method described in the
in the 3.1.2 paragraphbelow “Digit-character maptable”. Afterdone for
input, press SAVE and then press QUITonce. Nowyou will see “2. Password”and
press NEXTthenENTER, EDIT, here you have to inputyourPasswordas you use
it to subscribe foraccessing internetthrough the keyboard. Press SAVEand then
press QUIT5 timesto complete the setting.
4. Afterback toONhook mode, LCD will show “Negotiating ”, meansthatphone
is still trying to build a connection with server and doesnotfind it yet. The phone
will notwork atthisstatus. If it doesfinish the subscription, the currenttime will
display, means your ISPserver (Your Internet provider) hasbeen detected
successfully and isreadyto work. Nowyou can make a call.
5. LetyourPCto share theinternetin the same network. Connectthe cable fromPC
to the LAN port on rearofIPcall-200. Nowthe phone workslike a normalrouter in
thisnetwork. So thatyou need to change the NetworkSetting fromthe control
panelon PC.Open the option ofNetwork Setting, then selectthe tab of
“Connection”, remove the previoussetting item from “DialUp and Private VPN
network dialog “box and disable thisoption. Activate theloweroption “Local
LAN”setting and selectthe “Auto-detectIP”fromthe LocalLAN setting page.
Then, yourPCwill getthe dynamicIPfromthe phone-“Router”to access to
internetsuccessfully.
3. BasicFunctions
3.1. Basicoperation

3.1.1 Dialrules:
Call for a Mobile Phone
‘900’+Countrycode + Cellphone / Mobile number + SEND
Dial for a Fixed line Phone:
‘900’+Countrycode + Area code +TelNo. + SEND
3.1.2. Making a call
lHand-free Quick-dialing
In On-Hook mode, push yourdesired number, and press SEND button, phone
will dialthe call with hands-free mode immediately.
lPickup handset toDial
Off-Hook bypick up handset, input yourdesired number, then press SEND
button, the call issent immediately.
lDial fromPHONEBOOK
Press PHONEBOOK anytime to activate the Phonebook, press Enter to the
List,push UP/DOWN to search the personwhich you wantto contact. Press SEND
to dialthe displayed number on the screen.
Add a RecordtoPHONEBOOK
In eitherON /OFF-HOOKmode, press “PHONEBOOK”and then push “Add”,
LCD will showtwo RowsforName and Tel. Now you can inputCaller sName
according to Digit-character maptable below. Afterdone forthe Name input,
move the cursorto the Tel.by pressing DOWNkey, then you can enterthe Caller s
phone digitsone byone plus2spausebetween each. An instanttouch will affectto a
difference letterorsymbolchanged immediately.
lDial fromCALLER List
Press the CALLER keyin On-Hook mode, then select the either caller band by
the UP/DOWN key. The press RIGHTkeyto displaythe listofthe currentband.
Browsthe desired phonenumber with UP/DOWNkeyand press SEND to dialthe
displayed number.
3.1.3. Ending a call

lSimplyhangsup byleft handseton cradle.
lHangsup bypress hands-free button once.
lPress “Release”key atanytime when you wantto re-make a call immediately.
3.1.4. Calling Hold / Call Conferencing
You can hold the currentcall by pressing HOLDto hold the line temporarywithout
interruptthe currentcall.Press again to resumeyourconversation. Thisfeature isalso
available in 3-wayconference call in the internetif all partiesare using IPcall-200.
You can make anothercall to the third partywho also isusing an IPcall-200 during a
Hold period. Then press Hold again to start conference.

3.1.5. Call Records
The phone memory capacityareenough for 100missed calls,and100 outgoing calls.
Ifthe memoryis full,the newestwill overwrite the oldest repeatedly.IncaseAC
power is disconnected or phone systemmay reboot, all call recordswill be discarded.
lMissed Call (Incomingcalls are allowed fromother IPcall-200)
Press CALLER keytoshort-cut to “Missed Call”list . You see howmany
number
of total missed calls thatyoudidnotpick up yet fromotherIPcall-200 inthe world.
Press the “Enter”keytoaccess tothe Listand use UP/DOWNkeys tobrowsethe
entire records. Ifthere isno missed call, screen will show “ListIsEmpty”.
lIncoming call (Incomingcalls are allowed fromother IPcall-200)
Press CALLER anduse UP/DOWNkeys toselectto “Incoming Call”. Press the
“Enter”keytoaccesstotheListand use UP/DOWNkeys tobrowsethe entire
records. Ifthere isno Incoming call, screen will show “ListIsEmpty”.
Caution: The IPcall-200 will onlyacceptasamekind device ofIPcall seriestocall
in.
lOutgoing call
Press CALLER anduse UP/DOWNkeys toselectto “OutgoingCall”. Pressthe
“Enter”keytoaccess totheListand use UP/DOWNkeys tobrowsethe entire
records. Ifthere isno Outgoing call, screen will show “ListIsEmpty”.
3.1.6 Free CountryAndDistrict List
Both Cell Phone and PSTN Fixed line Phone are availableforthe following

4. System Setup
4.4.1. Howto access toSETUP via thephone’s keyboard.
In caseyou wantto resolve aproblemoryou alreadybe an experience user, you
can access to the setup modeby using MENU.Other keys like the UP / DOWN /
LEFT/RIGHT / SysInfo /Enter/Exit keys thatare used to complete the proper
setting.
lUse UP/DOWN and SysInfo to access to the sub-menu.
lUse LEFT/RIGHT to adjustscreen brightness, contrast, ring level and voice
volume.
lUse Enter and Exit to modifyorexit during setting.
4.4.2. Phone System Menu
Phone Setup Menu isdisplayed when the Menu keyispushed. Itwillbe scrolled up
ordown in a circle.
Note:

1. The SystemConfig in thisphone isnotallowed to access if you do nothave
permit.It isprotected bythe password.
2. Even you are allowed to access into user sconfig menu, butif the Phonedisplay
correctlywith the currenttime, thatmeans there isno need to access the Menu
which may occurred a problembyan improper operation. Important: Don’ttry
to change anything incase pressing the MENU attempt to modify any
existing parameter. You can ignore a change by hang up and offwith
handset.
