Leak Detection
If a leak is detected, the pump will show a warning
notication in the top right corner of the screen
and highlight the Dashboard in orange. The iQ
Vacuum pump will then power itself off. If desired,
the user can then turn the unit back on and toggle
the Stop On Leak Option to Off if desired. Select
Controls>Settings>Misc and toggle switch to desired
position.
If leak is detected:
1. If wearing a sleeve, reect the top of your liner so
that sealing sleeve is sealed to the inner sticky part
of the liner. No barrier like sock, sheath or liner
should be between this sealing surface or visible
above your sleeve.
2. If using a liner with sealing ring, make sure sealing
ring is in proper position and sealed directly
against socket wall with no sock or sheath over any
part of it.
3. Check sleeve to see if there are any holes in it,
particularly around the brim of the socket. If you
nd one, adjust your sleeve position to try to seal
the hole. Switch out sealing sleeve if needed or
contact your prosthetist.
4. Make sure there are no holes in tubing between
socket connection and the iQ Vac pump and that all
connections are secure.

the iQ Vac is turned off. The purpose of this is to
assist you with taking off your prosthesis and this is
required if you are wearing a liner with a sealing ring,
without a sealing sleeve.
You can adjust the time that this vent stays open by
tapping Controls>Settings>Misc> then adjusting the
slide bar to the desired time and tapping save
