Introduction
This manual covers the installation and the customisation of the META O.R.V3 rack
range.
•The META O.R.V3 rack range is a non-ship loadable product, i.e., racks,
with the supplied packaging (from Rittal) are not intended to be
transported with integrated systems installed. For rack shipments
configured with IT equipment installed in the rack, alternate rack
shipment packaging must be used.
•Restrictions and limitations of permissible use: This equipment cabinet is
designed as a closed storage system with a surrounding case or housing
that does not provide the degrees of protection of an enclosure. The
equipment cabinet is to be used to store or mount equipment that is
provided with its own enclosure. Not to be used as an electrical cabinet
that provides essential protection against access to live parts and serves
as earthed enclosure in Class 1 equipment. Use within functional
specification that defines static and dynamic and ship loadable,
environmental conditions, installation manual / guide, etc. The equipment
cabinet is intended for indoor installation only. Do not stand on the
equipment cabinet.
•Foreseeable misuse: Misconfiguration - loading against functional
specification, neglecting limits for ship loadable transport, neglecting the
installation and transportation guidelines given by Rittal. Standing or
climbing on rack.
