General Safety Instructions
The following symbols are used in these instructions for use:
Denotes risk of personal injury, loss of life or damage to the tool in case of
nonobservance of the instructions in this manual.
Denotes risk of electric shock.
Wear protective gloves
Wear a dust mask. Working with wood, metals and other materials may produce
dust that is harmful to health. Do not work with material containing asbestos!
Wear eye protection
General Power Tool Safety Warnings
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated
(cordless) power tool.
1) General Power Tool Safety Warnings –Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
2) General Power Tool Safety Warnings –Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter
plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of
electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep
cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of
electric shock.

e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord
suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD)
protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) General Power Tool Safety Warnings –Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not
use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power
source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the
switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached
to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the
power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these
are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
4) General Power Tool Safety Warnings –Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the
power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less
likely to bind and are easier to control.

g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into
account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations
different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
5) General Power Tool Safety Warnings –Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
b) Caution! The use of any accessories or additional tools other than those recommended in this manual may
lead to an increased risk of injury. Only use original replacement parts.
Safety Instructions for Spray Guns
You may only spray coating materials such as paints, varnishes, glazes, etc. with a flashpoint of 21°C
(32°C in UK) and higher without additional warning. (German classification of coating material is hazard
classes A II and A III, see material tin.)
The device may not be used in workplaces covered by the explosion-protection regulations.
There must be no sources of ignition such as, for example, open fres, smoke of lit cigarettes, cigars
and tobacco pipes, sparks, glowing wires, hot surfaces, etc. in the vicinity during spraying.
Do not spray any substances whose hazard potential is not known.
Before working on the spray gun remove the power plug from the socket.
Do not use the spray guns to spray flammable substances.
The spray guns are not to be cleaned with flammable solvents which have a flashpoint under 21°C.
Caution against dangers that can arise from the sprayed substance and observe the text and information
on the containers or the specifications given by the substance manufacturer.
Recommendation: Wear a breathing mask and safety glasses when spraying.
CAUTION - DANGER OF INJURY!
Never point the spray gun at yourself, at other people or at animals.
When working with the tool indoors as well as outdoors ensure that no solvent vapors are sucked in by the
spray gun.
When working outdoors, be aware of the wind direction. Wind can carry the coating substance across
greater distances - thus causing damage. When working indoors, provide for adequate ventilation.
Do not let children handle the device.
Never open the device yourself in order to carry out repairs in the electrical system!
Do not lay the spray gun.
Residual risks
Even when the power tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk factors. The
following hazards may arise in connection with the power tool’s construction and design:
1. Damage to lungs if an effective dust mask is not worn.

2. Damage to hearing if effective hearing protection is not worn.
3. Damages to health resulting from vibration emission if the power tool is being used over longer period of time or
not adequately managed and properly maintained.
WARNING! This power tool produces an electromagnetic field during operation. This field may under some
circumstances interfere with active or passive medical implants. To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we
recommend persons with medical implants to consult their physician and the medical implant manufacturer before
operating this machine.
Wear hearing protection while operating the power tool.
Intend use
Coating Materials Suitable for Use
Water- and solvent-based paints, finishes, primers, 2-component paints, clear finishes, automotive
finishes, staining sealers and wood sealer-preservatives.
Coating Materials Not Suitable for Use
Wall paints (emulsion paints) etc., alkali and acidic paints.
Preparing the Coating Material
The paints usually need to be diluted for use with the spray gun. Since information on sprayable
dilutions is seldom given on the material tin, you can use the guidelines in the viscosity table on
the following page (viscosity = consistency of the coating material).
Measuring the Viscosity
1. Stir the coating material thoroughly before measuring.
2. Dip the viscosity test cup (Fig. 2) completely into the coating material.
3. Hold the test cup up and measure the time in seconds until the liquid empties out.(Fig. 2)
Note: This time is called "Runout Time in Seconds".

Start-up
Before connecting to the mains supply, be sure that the supply voltage is
identical with the value given on the rating plate.
●Attach carrying belt to machine (Fig.3)
●Mounting air hose. Insert the air hose tightly in the connections on the machine and the spray
gun (Fig. 4, a + b). The connections can be positioned as desired.
●Unscrew the container from the spray gun.
●Aligning suction tube (Fig. 5) The container contents are to be sprayed out almost completely.
When spraying horizontal surfaces, turn suction tube forward (A). When spraying objects
overhead, turn suction tube back (B).
●Set the container on a sheet of paper, pour in the prepared coating material and screw the
container tightly onto the spray gun.
●Place the spray gun in the gun holder on the machine (Fig. 6).
●Put the machine down only on a level, clean surface. Otherwise the machine could suck in
dust, etc.
●Hang the machine on your shoulder with the carrying belt.
●Take the spray gun out of the spray gun holder and point it at the target object.
●Push the ON / OFF switch on the machine.
●Adjust the spray setting on the spray gun.
Three different spray jet settings can be chosen on the spray gun, depending on
the application and target object.

WARNING! Danger of injury! Never pull the trigger guard while adjusting the air
cap.
Adjusting the Material Volume (Fig. 8)
Set the material volume by turning the regulator on the trigger of the spray gun.
Spray Technique
●The spray result depends heavily on the smoothness and cleanliness of the surface to be
sprayed. Therefore the surface should be carefully prepared and kept free of dust.
●Cover all surfaces not to be sprayed.
●Cover screw threads or similar parts of the target object.
●It is advisable to test the spray gun on cardboard or a similar surface to find the correct setting.
Important: Begin spraying outside of the target area and avoid interruptions inside the target
area.
●Correct (Fig. 9a) Be sure to hold the spray gun at an even distance of approx. 2.5 - 30cm to
the target object.
●Incorrect (Fig. 9 b) · Heavy spray fog build-up, uneven surface quality.
●An even movement of the spray gun results in an even surface quality.
●When coating material builds up on the nozzle (A) and air cap (B), clean both parts with a
solvent or water.
Interruption of Work
●Turn the machine off.
●Put the spray gun in the spray gun holder.
Taking Out of Operation and Cleaning
1. Turn the machine off. Activate the trigger guard so that the coating material in the spray gun
flows back into the container.
2. Unscrew the container. Empty any remaining coating material back into the material tin.
3. Pre-clean the container and feed tube with a brush.
4. Pour solvent or water into the container. Screw the container back on.
Use only solvents with a flashpoint over 21°C .
5. Turn on the machine and spray the solvent or water into a container or a cloth.

6. Repeat the above procedure until the solvent or water emerging from the nozzle is clear.
7. Turn the machine off.
8. Then empty the container completely. Always keep the container seal free of coating material
residue and check for damage.
9. Clean the outside of the spray gun and container with a cloth soaked in solvent or water.
10. Unscrew the union nut and remove the air cap and nozzle. Clean the air cap and nozzle with
a brush and solvent or water.
Caution! Never clean nozzle or air holes in the spray gun with sharp metal objects.
Maintenance
Change the air filter (Fig. 10, 1) if it is soiled.
WARNING! Never operate the machine without the air filter; dirt could be
sucked in and interfere with the function of the machine.
Environmental protection
The appliance and accessories should be recycled in an environmentally friendly
way. Do not dispose of the appliance with household waste. Support environmental
protection by taking the appliance to a local collection point or obtain information
from a specialist retailer.

Lucrati cu masca de protectie. La lucrarea cu lemn, metal sau alte materiale se poate
emana praf, care este daunator pentru sanatatea umana. Nu lucrati cu material care
contine azbest!
Purtati ochelari de protectie
Siguranta electrica generala a instrumentului si avertismente
AVERTISMENT Cititi toate avertismentele de siguranta si intreaga instructiune. Nerespectarea acestor
reguli si avertismente poate avea ca rezultat producerea electrocutarilor, a incendiilor si/sau a
accidentarilor grave.
Pastrati toate avertismentele si instructiunile pentru consultari ulterioare
Termenul “masina de lucru” mentionat in aceste avertismente se referea la masina dvs. de lucru, care
functioneaza cu curent electric (cu cablu) sau masina de lucru care functioneaza cu baterie (acumulatoare).
1) Avertismente cu privire la siguranta electrica generala a instrumentului –Siguranta la locul de
munca.
a) Pastrati zona de lucru curata si bine aranjata. O zona dezordonata si un loc intunecat poate conduce la
producerea de leziuni si accidentari.
b) Nu utilizati dispozitivele electrice in medii explozive, in care se afla lichide inflamabile, gaze sau
substante care emana praf sau pulbere. Dispozitivele electrice pot produce scantei care la randul lor pot
incendia praful sau gazele.
c) Pe timp de lucru cu dispozitivul nu lasati copii si persoanele neautorizate in apropierea zonei de
lucru. Distragerea atentiei poate duce la pierderea controlului asupra instrumentului.
2) Avertismente cu privire la siguranta electrica generala a instrumentului –Siguranta de natura
electrica
a) Stecherul pentru conectarea dispozitivului electric trebuie sa fie in conformitate cu priza. In nici un
caz nu modificati stecherul. Nu utilizati stechere cu adaptare de tensiune la dispozitivele electrice
impamantate. Stecherele la care nu sunt facute modificari si prizele corespunzatoare reduc la minim
riscul de electrocutare.
b) Evitati contactul fizic cu suprafetele impamantate, cum ar fi conductele, radiatoarele, masinile de
gatit si frigiderele. Exista pericol foarte mare de electrocutare, daca corpul d-voastra este in contact cu
acestea.
c) Nu folositi dispozitivul dvs. electric in ploaie sau in conditii de umezeala. Patrunderea umezelii in
dispozitivul electric mareste pericolul de electrocutare.

d) Nu folositi cablul in afara destinatiei acestuia, pentru a deplasa, pentru a agata dispozitivul sau
pentru a scoate stecherul din priza. Tineti cablul departe de surse de caldura, ulei, obiecte ascutite sau
elemente mobile ale dispozitivului. Cablurile deteriorate sau impletite maresc pericolul de electrocutare.
e) La utilizarea dispozitivului electric in spatii exterioare, utilizati numai prelungitoare de cablu potrivite
pentru conditii atmosferice externe. Folosirea prelungitorului de cablu corespunzator pentru utilizare in
exterior reduce riscul de electrocutare.
f) In cazul in care lucrati cu dispozitivul electric in mediu umed este foarte important sa folositi
intrerupator de protectie automat. Folosirea intrerupatorului de protectie automat reduce riscul de
electrocutare.
3) Avertismente cu privire la siguranta electrica generala a instrumentului –Siguranta umana
a) In timpul utilizarii fiti vigilenti, concentrati-va atentia asupra lucrului efectuat si fiti rezonabili pe timp
de lucru. Nu utilizati dispozitivele electrice atunci cand sunteti obositi sau sunteti sub influenta
drogurilor, alcoolului sau a medicamentelor. O clipa de neatentie, pe timp de lucru, poate provoca
vatamari corporale grave.
b) Purtati echipament de protectie si intotdeauna ochelari de protectie. Purtarea echipamentelor
personale de protectie precum masca antipraf, incaltamintele de protectie anti-alunecare, casca sau
antifoane, in conformitate cu tipul si utilizarea dispozitivului electric reduce pericolul de vatamare.
c) Evitati pornirea accidentala a masinii. Asigurati-va ca dispozitivul electric este decuplat, inainte de a
conecta stecherul la sursa electrica, atunci cand ridicati sau purtati dispozitivul. Purtarea dispozitivului
electric cu degetul situat pe butonul de pornire sau in cazul in care dispozitivul este cuplat la sursa
electrica, poate provoca accident.
d) Indepartati toate cheile sau instrumentele de reglare, inainte de a conecta dispozitivul la sursa
electrica. Instrumentele sau cheile lasate pe partea rotativa a dispozitivului pot provoca accidentari.
e) Evitati pozitia instabila a corpului pe timp de lucru. Pe timp de lucru trebuie sa aveti o pozitie stabila
si echilibrata. In acest fel ve-ti putea asigura un control mai bun asupra dispozitivului electric in situatii
neasteptate.
f) Purtati imbracaminte corespunzatoare. Nu purtati haine foarte largi sau bijuterii. Pastrati parul,
hainele si manusile departe de partile mobile. Hainele largi, bijuteriile sau parul lung pot fi prinse de
catre elementele mobile.

g) Daca dispozitivele sunt prevazute cu instalatii pentru colectarea si extragerea prafului, asigurati-va ca
acestea sunt utilizate si montate corespunzator.
Utilizarea unui astfel de dispozitiv poate reduce pericolele legate de praf.

4) Avertismente cu privire la siguranta electrica generala a instrumentului –Utilizarea si intretinerea
dispozitivului electric.
a) Nu supraincarcati instrumentul electric. Utilizati instrumentele electrice numai si doar in
conformitate cu destinatia acestora. Cu un dispozitiv corespunzator ve-ti lucra mult mai bine si mai sigur
in domeniul respectiv.
b) Nu utilizati dispozitiv electric cu intrerupator deteriorat. Dispozitiv electric care nu poate fi pornit sau
oprit este periculos si trebuie reparat inainte de utilizare.
c) Deconectati stecherul de la sursa electrica sau bateria din instrumentul electric inainte de a efectua
orice fel de reglari, schimbari de accesorii sau depozitare a masinii. Aceste masuri de protectie si
siguranta reduc riscul de pornire accidentala a dispozitivului electric.
d) Depozitati dispozitivele electrice neutilizabile in locuri inaccesibile pentru copii. Nu lasati terte
persoane, care nu au luat la cunostinta sau nu au citit prezenta instructiune, sa utilizeze dispozitivul.
Dispozitivele electrice sunt foarte periculoase, atunci cand sunt utilizate de catre persoane cu lipsa de
experienta.
e) Intretineti cu grija dispozitivele electrice. Verificati daca partile mobile functioneaza in mod
impecabil si nu sunt uzate, daca exista piese deteriorate, sau exista piese care sunt deteriorate in fel
care pot afecta functionarea corecta a dispozitivului. Inainte de utilizare reparati componentele
deteriorate. Multe dintre accidente sunt cauzate de intretinerea necorespunzatoare a dispozitivelor
electrice.
f) Intretineti instrumentele de taiere ascutite si curate. Instrumentele de taiere cu margini de taiere
ascutite, intretinute corespunzator, foarte rar pot bloca si sunt mai usor de utilizat.
g) Utilizati dispozitivele electrice, accesoriile si instrumentele, in conformitate cu aceste instructiuni.
Respectati conditiile de munca si activitatile efectuate. Utilizarea dispozitivelor electrice pentru scopuri
diferite decat cele pentru care sunt destinate, poate duce la situatii periculoase.
5) Avertismente cu privire la siguranta electrica generala a instrumentului –Intretinere
a) Instrumentele electrice trebuie reparate si deservite de catre persoana calificata, care utilizeaza
numai piase de schimb originale. Acest fapt va garanta siguranta instrumentului electric.
b) Atentie! Utilizarea accesoriilor si a instrumentelor suplimentare altele decat cele originale,
recomandate in aceasta instructiune, poate duce la un risc crescut de accidentare. Utilizati numai piese de
schimb originale.

Fara avertisment suplimentar puteti sa pulverizati numai materiale de finisare precum vopsele,
lacuri, email si altele cu punct de aprindere de 21°C (32°C in Marea Britanie) si mai mare. (In
conformitate cu Clasificatorul german al vopselelor cu clasa de pericol A II si A III, vezi cutia
metalica).
In apropiere de locul supus la pulverizare nu trebuie sa existe surse de aprindere, ca de exemplu foc
deschis, fum de la tigari, trabucuri sau pipe aprinse, scantei, cabluri incinse, suprafete fierbinte si altele.
Nu pulverizati substante al carui pericol potential nu este cunoscut.
Inainte de a efectua lucrari pe pistol, deconectati stecherul din priza.
Nu utilizati pistolul de vopsit pentru pulverizare in directia substantelor inflamabile.
Nu curatati pistoalele cu solventi inflamabili, care au un punct de aprindere mai mic de 21°C.
Aveti grija de pericolele legate de vopseaua pulverizata si aveti in vedere marcajul de pe ambalaj sau
informatia pusa la dispozitie de catre producatorul materialului, inclusiv cerintele pentru utilizarea
echipamentului personal de protectie.
Recomandare: Purtati masca de protectie pentru sistemul respirator si ochelari de protectie, timp in care
pulverizati.
ATENTIE –Pericol de accidentare!
In nici un caz nu indreptati pistolul in directia dvs sau in directia altor persoane sau animale.
Atunci cand utilizati instrumentul in spatiu inchis, precum si in aer liber asigurati-va ca pistolul pulverizant
nu aspira vapori de solvent.
Atunci cand lucrati in aer liber aveti grija la directia vantului. Acesta poate raspandi substanta de aplicare
la o distanta mai mare –provocand in acest fel daune. Atunci cand lucrati in interior, asigurati o aerisire
corespunzatoare.
Nu lasati in apropiere de copii dispozitivul electric.
In nici un caz nu dezasamblati singuri dispozitivul, pentru a efectua reparatii la sistemul electric!
Nu lasati pistolul in pozitie lateral inclinat.
Riscuri restante
Chiar si in situatia in care masina de lucru este utilizata conform cu prescriptiile date, nu este posibil sa fie
eliminati toti factori de risc. Urmatoarele pericole pot aparea in legatura cu constructia si designul masinii de
lucru:
1. Afectiuni pulmonare, in cazul in care nu purtati masca corespunzatoare de protectie.

2. Afectarea auzului, in cazul in care nu utilizati protectie corespunzatoare pentru urechi.
3. Afectarea sanatatii in urma vibratiilor provocate, in cazul in care masina de lucru este utilizata pentru o
perioada indelungata de timp sau in urma utilizarii incorecte si necorespunzatoare a masinii.
AVERTISMENT! Aceasta masina de lucru produce camp magnetic in timpul functionarii. In anumite circumstante

Vopsele, potrivite pentru utilizare
Vopsele pe baza de apa si pe baza de solvent, glant, substraturi, vopsele bicomponente, glant transparent, strat
izolant colorat si mijloace izolante pentru conservarea lemnului.
Vopsele, necorespunzatoare pentru utilizare
Vopsele pentru pereti (vopsele emulsie) si altele, vopsele alcaline si oxidante.
Pregatirea solutiei pentru vopsire
De obicei vopselele trebuie diluate, pentru a fi potrivite spre utilizare cu pistol de vopsit. Deoarece informatia cu
privire la nivelul de diluare al vopselei, care va fi pulverizata cu pistol, foarte rar este inscriptionata pe cutia de
metal a vopselei, puteti utiliza instructiunile din tabelul de viscozitate de pe pagina urmatoare
(viscozitate=consistenta vopselei).
Masurarea viscozitatii
1. Amestecati foarte bine vopseaua inainte de dozare.
2. Scufundati recipientul pentru verificarea viscozitatii (fig.2) pe deplin in vopsea.
3. Tineti recipientul de verificare ridicat si masurati timpul in secunde, pana cand continutul se va scurge in
totalitate (fig.2).
