Gevaar!
Elektriciteit kan dodelijk zijn! Til het hete apparaat alleen aan
de greepuitsparingen op: verbrandingsrisico! Dompel de ba-
siseenheid, het netsnoer en de netstekker nooit in water of
andere vloeistoffen: kortsluitingsgevaar! Het is ten strengste
verboden het apparaat af te dekken: brandgevaar! Verschuif
het apparaat niet tijdens het gebruik: verbrandingsrisico!
Beoogd gebruik
Het apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor privégebruik thuis. Tech-
nische wijzigingen en elk oneigenlijk gebruik zijn in verband met
de daaraan verboden gevaren ten strengste verboden!
Niet toegelaten gebruikers
Personen, die de gebruiksaanwijzing niet kennen, kinderen en
personen onder invloed van alcohol of medicijnen, mogen het
apparaat niet of uitsluitend onder toezicht gebruiken.
Personen (ook kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar) die ten gevolge
van hun fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of hun
gebrek aan kennis en ervaring niet in staat zijn dit apparaat
veilig te gebruiken, mogen dit apparaat niet zonder toezicht
en alleen op aanwijzingen van een aansprakelijke persoon
gebruiken.
Let op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het apparaat
gaan spelen.
De apparaten mogen niet door middel van een externe timer
of een aparte afstandsbediening worden bediend.
AStroomtoevoer
Raak delen die onder spanning staan nooit aan! Deze kunnen
een elektrische schok veroorzaken, die tot ernstige verwon-
dingen of zelfs de dood kan leiden. Sluit het apparaat alleen
aan met een spanning van 230 volt / 50Hz. De spanning moet
overeenkomen met die op het typeplaatje van het apparaat!
Om ongelukken met elektriciteit te voorkomen adviseren wij
u stopcontacten met vooraf ingeschakelde aardlekschakelaar
te gebruiken.
BNetsnoer
Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een beschadigd netsnoer.
Laat defecte snoeren en stekkers direct vervangen door de
servicedienst. Trek het netsnoer niet over hoeken en scherpe
randen en zorg ervoor dat het niet beklemd raakt. Als het ap-
paraat aan is, mag het snoer geen hete delen ervan aanraken.
Leg of hang het netsnoer niet over hete voorwerpen en bes-
cherm het tegen olie. Draag of trek het apparaat nooit aan het
netsnoer. Trek de stekker nooit aan het netsnoer of met natte
handen uit de contactdoos.
CBescherming van andere personen
Let erop dat kinderen en dieren geen kans krijgen met het
apparaat te spelen. Zij zijn zich niet bewust van de gevaren
die er in relatie met elektrische apparatuur kunnen ontstaan.
Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht ergens staan.
DPlaats
Zet het apparaat neer op een plek waar het stabiel kan staan,
waar niemand het kan omgooien of zich eraan kan verwonden.
Plaats het apparaat niet onder ontvlambare, smeltende voorzie-
ningen en keukenkastjes. Plaats het apparaat nooit direct onder
een stopcontact.Om oververhitting te voorkomen, moet voor het
neerzetten een plaats worden gekozen, waar de warmte goed
kan ontsnappen. Het apparaat mag alleen in droge ruimten en
niet in de directe nabijheid van zwembaden, wastafels, badkui-
pen of douches worden gebruikt. Plaats het apparaat niet op
hete oppervlakken of in de buurt van open vuur om smelten van
de mantel of delen ervan te voorkomen. Er dient een minimale
afstand van 50 cm te worden aangehouden.
Brandgevaar
Leg nooit doeken, kledingstukken en dergelijke over of in de
buurt van het apparaat: brandgevaar! Plaats het apparaat
nooit in de buurt van brandbare materialen. U dient een mini-
male afstand van 50 cm aan te houden.
Verbrandingsrisico
Wanneer het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld worden verwar-
ming en aluminium grillplaat zeer heet. Til het hete apparaat
alleen aan de greepuitsparingen op.
EReiniging
Voordat u het apparaat reinigt, dient de netstekker te wor-
den losgekoppeld. Reinig het apparaat pas als het geheel
is afgekoeld. Dompel het apparaat nooit in water of andere
vloeistoffen en laat het daarmee niet in aanraking komen.
De losse onderdelen kunnen onder stromend water worden
gereinigd.
Alleen kinderen ouder dan 8 jaar mogen, mits onder toezicht,
het apparaat schoonmaken.
FReparaties / Onderhoud
Haal direct de netstekker uit het stopcontact bij storingen, als
het apparaat defect is of indien u na een val vermoedt dat het
apparaat defect is. Neem nooit een beschadigd apparaat in
gebruik. Het binnendringen met voorwerpen en het openen
van apparaat zijn ten strengste verboden. Reparaties mogen
alleen door de ofciële servicedienst worden uitgevoerd. Bij
ondeskundige reparaties wordt geen aansprakelijkheid voor
eventuele schade aanvaard.
Alleen kinderen ouder dan 8 jaar mogen, mits onder toezicht,
onderhoud aan het apparaat uitvoeren.

UITPAKKEN / NEERZETTEN
ELEKTRICITEITSAANSLUITING
Uitpakken
Voer het verpakkingsmateriaal op correcte wijze af.
Vernietig alle plastic zakken, deze kunnen voor kin-
deren gevaarlijk speelgoed zijn.
Controle van het pakket
Controleer het geleverde pakket.Als er onderdelen ontbreken,
dient u direct contact met het verkooppunt op te nemen.
Neerzetten
Plaats het apparaat op de tafel.
Volg bij het neerzetten van het apparaat de volgende
veiligheidsinstructies op:
Plaats het apparaat op een plek waar het stabiel kan
staan, en let erop dat niemand het kan omgooien of
zich eraan kan verwonden. Plaats het apparaat nooit
direct onder een stopcontact.
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk
gebruik.
Het in contact brengen van het apparaat en het nets-
noer met water of andere vloeistoffen is ten strengste
verboden: gevaar voor kortsluiting en elektrische
schokken!
Let er als gebruiker van het apparaat op, dat kinderen
en dieren geen kans krijgen met het apparaat te spe-
len. Om letsel te verkomen mogen kinderen en dieren
niet in de buurt van een ingeschakeld apparaat komen.
Plaats het apparaat nooit op hete oppervlakken, in de
buurt van open vuur en brandbare materialen. Plaats
het apparaat niet onder of in de buurt van materialen
die kunnen smelten (zoals bijv. keukenkastjes e.d.).
Gordijnen en dergelijke mogen niet in de buurt van
het apparaat komen. Er dient een minimale afstand
van 50 cm te worden aangehouden: brandgevaar!
Het is ten strengste verboden het apparaat met
droogdoeken e.d. af te dekken: brandgevaar!
Houd er rekening mee dat ondeskundig omgaan met
elektriciteit dodelijk kan zijn. Sluit het apparaat alleen
aan met een spanning van 230 volt / 50 Hz. De span-
ning moet overeenkomen met die op het typeplaatje
van het apparaat. Minimale zekering van het stop-
contact 6 ampère. Om ongelukken met elektriciteit te
verkomen adviseren wij u, veiligheidsstopcontacten
met een aardlekschakelaar te gebruiken. Gebruik een
verlengsnoer alleen, als u vooraf heeft gecontroleerd
of het in onberispelijke staat is.
Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld om gebruikt te worden in
combinatie met een tijdschakelaar of afstandsbedie-
ningssysteem.
Gebruik nooit een defect netsnoer. Defecte snoeren en
stekkers mogen alleen door de ofciële servicedienst
worden vervangen (speciaal gereedschap vereist).
Raak delen die onder spanning staan nooit aan. Deze
kunnen een elektrische schok veroorzaken, die tot
ernstige verwondingen of zelfs de dood kan leiden.

INGEBRUIKNAME EN BEDIENING
STORINGEN
Reparaties aan het apparaat mogen alleen door de ofciële servicedienst worden uitgevoerd. Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen
risico’s voor de gebruiker veroorzaken.
Bij ondeskundige reparaties kan geen aansprakelijkheid voor eventuele schade worden aanvaard. In dat geval verval-
len ook de garantieaanspraken.
VERWIJDERING
Afgedankte apparaten moeten direct onbruikbaar worden gemaakt. Verwijder de netstekker uit het
stopcontact en snij het netsnoer door. Afgedankte apparaten dienen indien mogelijk bij een openbaar
inzamelpunt te worden afgegeven.
Gevaar!
Elektriciteit kan dodelijk zijn! Breng het apparaat, het netsnoer
of de netstekker nooit in contact met water of andere vloeis-
toffen: kortsluitingsgevaar! Het is ten strengste verboden het
apparaat af te dekken: brandgevaar! Verschuif het apparaat
niet tijdens het gebruik: verbrandingsrisico! Houd u voor uw
eigen veiligheid en die van anderen strikt aan de op pagina’s
6/7 vermelde veiligheidsvoorschriften.
Apparaat voorbereiden
Plaats het apparaat op een stabiele tafel met voldoende vrije
ruimte (plaats het apparaat bijvoorbeeld niet onder een wand-
kast). Houd u aan de veiligheidsvoorschriften op de pagina’s
6/7.
Na het eten
Draai de temperatuurregelaar (3) tegen de klok in tot aan de
aanslag (Stand 0). Haal de netstekker uit het stop-contact en
laat het apparaat afkoelen. Het apparaat dient na gebruik te
worden schoongemaakt (zie «Reiniging» pagina 9).
Temperatuur wijzigen
Met de temperatuurregelaar (3) kan de temperatuur worden
aangepast. De temperatuur kan door tegen de wijzers van de
klok in te draaien worden verlaagd, door met de klok mee te
draaien worden verhoogd.
Temperatuurknop met geïntegreerde aan/uit-schakelaar
Stand 0 = Uit
Stand 1 = Olie (Vleesfondue)
Stand 2 = Water (Chinese Fondue)
Stand 1 – Vleesfondue (op basis van olie)
Plaats de benodigde hoeveelheid olie voor vleesfondue in de
pot. Let er op dat het olieniveau niet onder de minimale vul-
hoeveelheid van 500ml zakt of de maximale vulhoeveelheid
van 1 liter overschrijdt (zie vulmarkering in de pot).
Zet het apparaat aan door de temperatuurknop met de klok
mee te draaien naar stand 1.
Stand 2 – Chinese Fondue (op basis van water of
bouillon)
Plaats de benodigde hoeveelheid water of bouillon voor-
Chinese fondue in de pot. Let er op dat het vloeistofniveau
niet onder de minimale vulhoeveelheid van 500ml zakt of de
maximale vulhoeveelheid van 1 liter overschrijdt (zie vulmar-
kering in de pot).
Zet het apparaat aan door eerst op de temperatuurknop te
drukken en hem vervolgens met de klok mee te draaien naar
stand 2.
Reiniging
Voordat u het apparaat reinigt, dient u de netstekker
uit het stopcontact te trekken en te wachten tot het
volledig is afgekoeld. Dompel het apparaat nooit in
water of in andere vloeistoffen. Reinig het apparaat
nooit in de afwasmachine.
Verwarmingselement reinigen
Alleen reinigen met een vochtige spons of zachte
doek. Zorg ervoor dat verwarmingselement nooit in
contact kan komen met water of andere vloeistoffen.
Reinigen van toebehoren
De pan en alle bijbehorende accessoires moeten met
afwasmiddel en water gereinigd worden.
Bewaren
Voordat u het apparaat reinigt, dient de netstekker te
worden losgekoppeld. Reinig het apparaat pas, als
het geheel is afgekoeld. Als het apparaat langere tijd
niet wordt gebruikt, moet het tegen overmatig stof of
vuil worden beschermd. Bewaar het apparaat op een
droge plaats, buiten het bereik van kinderen. Haal de
netstekker uit het stop-contact, als het apparaat niet
wordt gebruikt.
Onderhoud
Behalve een incidentele functiecontrole hoeft het apparaat
niet te worden onderhouden.

Danger!
Le courant peut être mortel! Toujours prendre l’appareil par
les poignées lorsqu’il est chaud: risque de brûlures! Ne ja-
mais mettre, ni plonger la base de l’appareil, le cordon,ou la
prise dans l’eau ou dans d’autres liquides: risque de courtcir-
cuit et danger de décharge électrique ! Il est interdit de cou-
vrir l’appareil: risque d’incendie! Ne pas déplacer l’appareil
lorsqu’il fonctionne: risque de brûlures!
Utilisation conforme
Cet appareil est uniquement destiné à un usage domestique.
Il ne faut y apporter aucune modication technique, ni en faire
un usage non conforme au mode d’emploi. Cela pourrait être
très dangereux.
Utilisateurs non autorisés
Les personnes non familiarisées avec le mode d’emploi, les
enfants ainsi que les personnes sous l‘inuence de l’alcool
ou de médicaments ne doivent pas utiliser cet appareil sans
surveillance.
Ne pas laisser les personnes (y compris les enfants de moins
de 8 ans) qui ne sont pas en mesure d’utiliser l’appareil en
toute sécurité en raison de leurs capacités physiques, senso-
rielles ou mentales, de leur inexpérience ou de connaissances
insufsantes utiliser l’appareil sans la surveillance ou les ins-
tructions d’une personne responsable.
Surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec
l’appareil.
Ne pas commander les appareils à l’aide d’une minuterie
externe ou d’une télécommande séparée.
AAlimentation en courant
Ne touchez jamais des pièces sous tension ! Vous risquez
de recevoir une décharge électrique pouvant provoquer de
graves blessures, pouvant même être mortelle. Ne branchez
cet appareil qu’à une prise secteur d’une tension de 230 Volt,
50 Hz. La tension doit correspondre à celle indiquée sur la
plaquette de l’appareil! Protégez la prise par un disjoncteur à
courant de défaut de manière à éviter les accidents.
BCordon d’alimentation
N’utilisez jamais l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation est
défectueux. Faites aussitôt remplacer tout cordon ou che
défectueux par le service après-vente. Ne faites pas passer le
cordon sur des arêtes vives et ne le coincez pas. Ne posez pas
le cordon sur des objets chauds et évitez tout contact avec de
l’huile. Ne portez ou ne tirez jamais l’appareil par le cordon.
Ne retirez jamais la che de la prise en tyrant sur le cordon, ni
avec les mains mouillées.
CProtection des tiers
Veillez à ce que les enfants et les animaux ne jouent pas avec
l’appareil, car ils ne sont pas conscients des dangers inhé-
rents aux appareils électriques. Ne laissez jamais l’appareil
branché sans surveillance.
DMise en place
Placer l’appareil sur une surface stable, an que personne ne
risque de le renverser ou de se blesser. Ne pas poser l’appa-
reil sur ou sous des éléments de cuisine inammables ou qui
risquent de se déformer. Ne jamais placer l’appareil directe-
ment sous une prise de courant. Pour éviter le risque de sur-
chauffe, placer l’appareil de façon à ce que la chaleur puisse
s’échapper librement. Utiliser l’appareil dans un endroit sec,
ne pas l’utiliser près d’une baignoire, douche, lavabo ou pis-
cine. Ne pas poser l’appareil sur une surface chaude ou à
proximité d’une amme, sous l’action de la chaleur cet appa-
reil ou certaines parties de celui-ci risqueraient de fondre. Il
faut absolument respecter une distance minimum de 50 cm.
Risque d’incendie
Ne jamais mettre des tissus, vêtements et autres sur ou près
de l’appareil: risque d’incendie! Ne jamais mettre l’appareil
près de matières inammables. Il faut absolument respecter
une distance minimum de 50 cm.
Risque de brûlure
Quand l’appareil est allumé, le grill en aluminium et la résistance
deviennent très chaud. Soulevez l’appareil chaud uniquement par
les poignées encastrées.
ENettoyage
Avant de nettoyer cet appareil, vous devez absolument débran-
cher la che de la prise. Nettoyer l’appareil seulement quand il
est complètement froid. Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau
ou dans d’autres liquides et éviter tout contact avec ceux-ci.
Les autres éléments peuvent être lavés à l’eau courante.
Ne laisser des enfants nettoyer l’appareil que s’ils sont âgés de
plus de 8 ans et le font sous surveillance.
FRéparation / Entretien
En cas de mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil, ou si celui-ci
est défectueux ou endommagé à la suite d’une chute, débran-
cher aussitôt la che de la prise. Ne pas mettre un appareil
endommagé en service. Il est interdit d’introduire un objet
quelconque dans le corps de l’appareil ou d’ouvrir ce dernier.
Seul le service après-vente ofciel est habilité à éparer cet
appareil. Le service après-vente ofciel décline toute respon-
sabilité en cas de dommages consécutifs à une réparation
non professionnelle ou exécutée par des tiers non autorisés.
Ne laisser des enfants entretenir l’appareil que s’ils sont âgés
de plus de 8 ans et le font sous surveillance.

BRANCHEMENT AU SECTEUR
Déballage
Prière d’éliminer l’emballage selon les prescriptions en vigueur.
Détruire tous les sacs en plastique, ce sont des jouets
dangereux pour les enfants!
Contrôle du contenu de l’emballage
Contrôlez si les accessoires sont au complet. S’il
vous en manque ou si vous constatez un défaut,
veuillez vous adresser à votre revendeur.
Mise en place
En mettant l’appareil en place, veuillez observer les mesures
de sécurité suivantes:
Placez l’appareil sur un endroit sûr et stable, de ma-
nière à ce que personne ne risque de le renverser ou
de se blesser.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à un usage professionnel.
Ne jamais mettre, ni plonger l’appareil, ni le cordon
dans l’eau ou dans d’autres liquides: risque de court-
circuit ou de décharge électrique!
S’assurer que les enfants et les animaux ne peuvent
pas jouer avec l’appareil. Pour éviter qu’ils ne se
brûlent, maintenez les enfants et les animaux do-
mestiques éloignés de l’appareil en fonctionnement.
Ne posez pas l’appareil sur une surface chaude, à
proximité d’une amme ou de matériaux combus-
tibles. Ne pas mettre l’appareil sous ou à proximité de
matériaux qui risquent de se deformer (par ex. les pla-
cards de cuisine etc.). Rideaux et autres ne doivent pas
se trouver à proximité de l’appareil. Il faut absolument
respecter la distance de sécurité minimum de 50 cm:
risque d’incendie! Il est absolument interdit de couvrir
l’appareil avec un torchon ou autre: risque d’incendie!
N’oubliez pas que la manipulation inappropriée du
courant peut être mortelle. Ne branchez l’appareil
qu’à une prise de courant d’une tension de 230 V /
50Hz. La tension doit correspondre à celle indiquée
sur la plaquette de l’appareil. Le fusible de protection
de la prise doit être au minimum de 6 ampères.
Pour prévenir tout accident, nous vous recomman-
dons de protéger la prise par un disjoncteur à courant
de défaut.
N’utilisez une rallonge qu’après avoir vérié qu’elle
est en bon état.
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à fonctionner avec un
minuteur externe ou un système de contrôle à dis-
tance séparé.
N’employez pas l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation
est défectueux! Seul le service après-vente ofciel
est habilité à remplacer une che ou un cordon d’ali-
mentation défectueux (outillage spécial nécessaire).
Ne touchez jamais des pièces sous tension! Vous risquez
de recevoir une décharge électrique pouvant provoquer
de graves blessures et qui peut même être mortelle.

MISE EN SERVICE ET UTILISATION
DÉFAILLANCES TECHNIQUES
Seul le service après-vente ofciel est habilité à réparer cet appareil. Des réparations non professionnelles peuvent être source
de grave danger pour l’utilisateur.
Le service après-vente ofciel décline toute responsabilité et sa garantie s’arrête en cas de dommages consécutifs à
une réparation non professionnelle ou effectuée par des tiers non autorisés.
ELIMINATION
Rendez inutilisable un appareil hors d’usage en sectionnant le cordon d’alimentation.
Déposez l’appareil hors d’usage à votre centre de collecte communal.
Danger!
Le courant électrique peut être mortel ! Ne jamais mettre
l’appareil, le cordon et la prise en contact avec l’eau ou avec
d’autres liquides: risque de courtcircuit ! Il est strictement
interdit de couvrir l’appareil: risque d’incendie! Ne pas dépla-
cer l’appareil lors qu’il fonctionne: risque de brûlures! Pour
votre sécurité et celle des tiers, respectez scrupuleusement
les règles de sécurité mentionnées en pages 12 et 13.
Préparation de l’appareil
Poser l’appareil sur une table stable avec sufsamment d’es-
pace (éviter par ex. de le poser au-dessous d’un placard mu-
ral). Lire attentivement les instructions de sécurité aux pages
12 et 13.
Après le repas
Tourner le régulateur de température (3) dans le sens contraire
des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la butée (Position 0). Dé-
brancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir.
Nettoyer l’appareil après l’avoir utilisé (voir «Nettoyage» page 15).
Pour changer la température
On peut modier la température avec le régulateur (3). En le
tournant dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre, la
température diminue et dans le sens opposé elle augmente.
Contrôle de la température avec commutateur Marche/Arrêt
intégré
Position 0 = Arrêt
Position 1 = Huile (Fondue Bourguignonne).
Position 2 = Eau (Fondue Chinoise).
Position 1 - Fondue Bourguignonne (à l’huile).
Versez la quantité d’huile nécessaire dans le pot pour une
Fondue Bourguignonne. Veillez à ce que l’huile versée soit
comprise entre l’indication Minimum de 500 ml et l’indication
Maximum de 1 litre (voir la graduation à l’intérieur du pot).
Mettez l’unité en marche en positionnant le thermostat sur 1.
Position 2 - Fondue Chinoise (à l’eau ou au
bouillon).
Versez la quantité d’eau ou de bouillon nécessaire dans le pot
pour une Fondue Chinoise. Veillez à ce que l’eau ou le bouillon
versé soit compris entre l’indication Minimum de 500 ml et l’indi-
cation Maximum de 1 litre (voir la graduation à l’intérieur du pot).
Mettez l’unité en marche en appuyant sur le thermostat et en
tournant celui-ci dans le sens horaire sur la position 2.
Nettoyage
Avant de nettoyer l’appareil il faut absolument le débran-
cher et attendre qu’il soit complètement froid. Ne jamais
plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans d’autres liquides.
Ne jamais nettoyer l’appareil au lave-vaisselle.
Nettoyage de l’élément chauffant
Il ne doit être nettoyé qu’avec un chiffon doux ou une
éponge humide. L’élément chauffant ne doit jamais
entrer en contact avec l’eau ou avec d’autres liquides.
Nettoyage des accessoires de l’appareil
Il convient de nettoyer le récipient et tous les acces-
soires au détergent et à l’eau.
Rangement
Débrancher l’appareil avant de le ranger.
L’appareil ne doit être rangé que lorsqu’il est com-
plètement refroidi. Si vous ne devez pas l’utiliser
pendant longtemps, protégez cet appareil de la
poussière. Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et
hors de la portée des enfants. Débranchez l’appareil
lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas.
Entretien
L’appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien, à part un contrôle de
fonctionnement occasionnel.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Danger!
Electric current may be lethal! To prevent the risk of burns
pick up the hot appliance only by its handles! To prevent
short-circuits do not immerse or place the appliance’s base,
power supply cord and plug into water or other liquids, for any
reason whatsoever. To prevent the risk of re, covering the
appliance is strictly prohibited. To prevent the risk of burns
never move the appliance while in operation. Use in confor-
mity with safety requirements!
Use in conformity with safety requirements
The appliance has been exclusively designed for domes-
tic use. Do not introduce any technical changes or use it for
purposes that are not in conformity with operating and safety
requirements. This could involve serious risks!
User Operating Constraints
People who have not read the instruction manual with care,
children and people under the inuence of alcohol or drugs
must not use the appliance unattended.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
Children shall not pay with the appliance.
The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote-control system.
AElectric Current
Never touch the parts that conduct electric current. They can
produce electric shock causing serious injuries and even
death. Connect the appliance only to alternate current with a
voltage of 230 V, 50 Hz.Voltage must correspond to that found
on the designation label on the household appliance! So as to
prevent electrical injury accidents, always use safety sockets
tted out with a differential switch.
BPower Supply Cord
Never use the appliance if the cord shows any sign of damage.
Faulty cords and plugs must be immediately replaced at the
service aftersales department nearest you. Never pull the cord
against cutting edges or cornersnor get it caught anywhere.
Never let the cord hang or brush against hot objects. Protect
it from grease. Never carry or move the appliance by pulling it
by the cord. Never remove the plug from the socket pulling it
by the cord or with wet hands.
CSafeguard of Third Parties
Make sure to keep the appliance out of reach of children and
animals because they are totally unaware of the dangers that
such an appliance may involve. Never leave the appliance
unsupervised when in use.
DPositioning
Make sure the appliance is placed on a at, stable surface
so that no one will overturn it or get injured. Never place the
appliance over or under inammable materials or deformable
surfaces. Never place the appliance directly under an elec-
tric socket. To avoid overheating, make sure the appliance
is placed in a position that allows good heat dispersion. The
appliance may be used only in dry places and never near bath
tubs, showers, sinks and pools. To avoid the melting down
of the appliance or parts of the appliance never place on hot
surfaces or near direct ames. A minimum distance of at
least 50cm must absolutely be respected. Never move the
appliance while in operation otherwise you will risk getting
seriously burnt. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Risk of Fire
To prevent all risks of re, never place any sort of fabric, clo-
thing or other similar things close to or on top of the appliance!
Never place the appliance close to any inammable materials.
Make sure a minimum distance of 50 cm is respected.
Risk of burns
When the appliance is turned on, the aluminum grill and
heater become very hot. Lift the hot appliance only with the
recessed grips.
ECleaning
Before cleaning the appliance,unplug and wait for the appliance
to have completely cooled down. Never immerse the appliance
in water or any other liquid and avoid any contact with these.
The other parts may be washed under running water.
Cleaning shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.
FRepair / Maintenance
In case of problems when in use, of a faulty appliance or if
one suspects damage caused by the appliance’s falling down,
unplug immediately. Make sure never to use a damaged ap-
pliance. It is strictly prohibited to introduce foreign objects into
the appliance or to open the casing. Repairs may be made
only by the ofcial service aftersales department. We assume
no responsibility in case of damage caused by repairs carried
out by unqualied personnel.
User maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised.

CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
Unpacking
Eliminate packaging according to current laws and regulations.
Destroy all plastic packaging bags to avoid that child-
ren may play with them.
Checking content
Check content. If certain parts should be missing, immediately
contact your dealer.
Positioning
Place the appliance on the table
Make sure the appliance is positioned in compliance with the
following safety precautions:

Never place the appliance directly under an electric
socket.
This appliance is intended to be used in household
only.
To prevent the risk of short-circuits and electric shock,
contact of the appliance or of the power supply cord

children. So as to prevent the risk of burns, when in
use, keep children and animals well away from the
appliance.
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces or near
direct ames or other inammable materials. Never
place the appliance under or near deformable mate-
rials (for ex. kitchen cupboards).
Curtains or other similar objects must never be close
to the appliance. To prevent the risk of re, it is abso-
lutely necessary to respect a minimum safety distance
of 50 cm! Again to prevent all re risks never cover the
appliance with dish towels or other similar objects!
Warning! The inappropriate use of electric current
may cause death! Connect the appliance only to al-
ternate current with a voltage of 230 V / 50 Hz. Vol-
tage must correspond to that indicated on the ap-
