How the Water Dispenser Works
Thewatertankislocatedbehindthedrawersintherefrigeratorccnpartn_nt.As
thewaterisdi_, thetankisautc_mticallyrefilled.Forprcperqseraticnofthe
dispenser,thesticplywaterpressurenmstfallbetween30psiand120psi.
After the refrigeratorisinstalledandthepltmbingccnnecticnsareccnplete,the
water tank should be filled by drawing one glass of water. It may take
_ut l-i/2minutes after depressingthe dispenser armbefore waterworks its
way through the pl_bing crmmectic_s andbegins to fill this f iret glass. Draw and
discard 7 n_re glasses to be sure that the tank andpltmbing connecticns are rinsed
of any _rities.
Toensurefresh-tastingwater,plantousethedispensereveryday.Ifthewater
dispenserhasnotbeenusedfora weekormore,drawanddiscard7-8glassesto
freshenthetanksqsply.
How the Ice Dispenser Works
Theicenmkerandicestoragebinarelocatedinthetopleftcornerofthefreezer
cc_nt. Aftertherefrigeratorisinstalledproperlyandhascooledforseveral
hours, the ice nmker can beginnmking ice. Tobegin ice prochcticn, lower the wire
signalarmtothe "down"orONposition.Ascubesaremade,theyarestoredinthe
storagebin.Withnousageitwilltakempprcmi_mtely2daystofillthebin.However,
thedispensernmybeusedafterthefirethatchoficeisnmde.Theicenmkerturns
offautcnmticallywhantheicestoragebinisfull.
Becauseofnewpl_0ing connections,thefirstproductionoficecubesmaybe
discoloredorhaveanoddflavor.Theseshouldbediscardeduntilthecubesnmde
arefreeofdiseoloraticnandtaste._emenJ0er that water quality
deterndnesyouricequality.Itisbesttoccrmecttheicen_Jqertowaterthatisnot

3. Removeicechipsandcleantheshelfandchutethatsupportstheicestorage

A Replacetheicestoragebin.Iim_rthewiresisnalarmcntheicenmkertothe
"down"orONpositionandthe icenmkerwillres_m production.
IMPORTANT : Whenren_vingorreplacingtheicebin,donotrotatetheauger
inthe icebin. If the auger is accidentallytu_ned, punmst realignthe aujerby
tumling it in90 ° tum_ until the icebin fits intoplace with the drive n_=ckmnis_.

Remove and empty the ice storagebin if:

quality,changewaterfilterandO-ringeveryl2nmths. Also, iffilterhasbeenin
a refrigerator that has not been in use for awhile (duringn_ving for exmTple),
