After theplumbing connectionshave been ccmpleted, the water supply valvemust
be opened. Place the ice containerunder the icemaker, pushing it asfar back as
possible. Lower the wire signal armto its "down" or ONposition. Because of new
plumbing connections,the firstproductionof icecubesmay be discoloredor have
an odd flavor. Throw the ice awayuntil the cubesmade are free of discoloration

In somemodels, therefrigeratordoor has a fullienqthtrim
piece which oontinuesfrom the bottom of the handle to the
bottom of the door. The top of the trim attaches to the
handle bracket . Anadhesive "trimlock" is positicnedakout
half-way down. The bottom of the trim is held in place by
either an adhesive trim lock, or a trim lockwith two prongs
inserted into a hole on the face of the cbor. Remove the trim
by gently pul 1ing the trim 1ock areas out and away from the
door. When the trim is free fromthe door, slide the trim
straight down and away from the handle bracket.
