2、Safety guidance
2.1 Overview
This manual records the key information for machine safety operation. Read the manual carefully
before your first operation.
Non-standard operation, modification or maintenance without training may cause losses,machine
problems or injury. You are allowed to operate the machine after training.All maintenance must be
done by qualified professional technician. Any machine parts need to be changed must be provided by
XINGYI.
Xingyi machines only can be used in the way of xingyi recommended. And only can be used for
commercial purposes. Anyone who uses a machine should know its function, the location of the
emergency stop, the operator should have to ensure the safety rules that the unauthorized person can
not be stationed at work area when the machine starts.
The operator should be equipped with professional personal protective equipment when you at
work: safety goggles, protective gloves, safety shoes, breathing masks, protective earmuffs, etc., do
not wear loose clothes or anything can grasp things such as scarves, bracelets, rings and so on.
Note：
1、This machine is only used for floor grinding, polishing;
2、Read and understand the safety guide totally. Different models have different accessories and
operation instructions.
3、Operation of this machine only needs one person. Keep children and irrelevant person away.

4、Operator who is in poor physical state or without training is not allowed to operate the machine.

8、Random modification of the machine is not allowed. Only XINGYI accessories can be used for
maintenance and adjustment.
9、Do not operate the machine in rainy or foggy days.
10、Ensure no explosive flammable materials and steam nearby when operate machine. Do not
operate machine nearby the place with fuel, grain dust, solvents, dilution agent or other flammable
items.
2.2 Operation Safety Guidance
1. Wear clothes suitable for the job and for the work place including safety shoes, safety
helmets,hearing protection, non--fogging vented goggles and dust respirator.
2. Make sure there is no oil leakage, electric leakage,water leakage on the machine before using.
3. Check the machine control switches and electric parts are in good conditions without moisture.
4. Make sure no obstacle or human people at working area.and make sure there have enough
lighting device.
5. The splash guard should be installed on the machine for safety. Work with Industrial vacuum
cleaner while dry grinding.
6. The machine is connected to appropriate electrical outlet.Only use power lines that can
withstand high current (Please find it in Manual)
7. Do not adjust handle bar while machine is in operation,only adjust when the switch is pressed
on and machine stopped.
8. The handle has different function when in different position,please read the manual for more
information.
9. Ensure the machine has stopped operating and the emergency stop button pressed when
changing abrasives or accessories. If necessary, disconnect the power and the plug.
10. Stay away from water or dangerous cargo to prevent personal injury,machine injury,machine
and property loss.
11.Tight-hold hand grip, clockwise rotate the emergency switch, then turn on the power button and
start the machine.

12. Please note that the emergency stop switch can only be pressed or rotated, prohibit upward
pull.
13. Before operation,check the working surface and remove any protrusion to prevent machine
plate and pads from damage.
14. Double check before plug in to make sure the machine working Voltage, HZ is same with input
Voltage and HZ, no lack of phase of input power.(If the machine do not work normally result in the
input power and working power not same, then manufacturers warranty is unavailable.)
15. Connecting with vacuum to achieve dust free working condition.
16. Do not tilt the machine while the machine is still running, otherwise it will cause a personal
threat.
17. After installing the abrasive must keep the grinding plate touch with ground, should adjust the
handle bar to upward position,operator should operate it comfortable.
18. When machine inverter turn to overload protection it means there is something wrong is the
machine(cable us too small or voltage is unstable) , if so please reference the following cable size
which recommend. Or reduce the abrasive pressure(choose the additional to suitable position) when
users keep using the machine when overload lead to damage , it would not allow to guarantee.
19. After few minutes of grinding ,stop to check how much the abrasive using,this behavior could
reduce the economic loose when using wrong polishing pads/
20. Please do not upward the machine when machine is still running , or the polishing pads is
flying out to threat the human safety.

2.3 Electrical safety Guidance
1. All circuit maintenance can be only operated by professionals.
2. Note: After the machine stops, the line is still energized. Before repairing the
machine,cut off all power.
3. The machine is equipped with overload protection device and will automatically
prohibited the machine operation when the machine is overloaded. (under safe
conditions re-adjust this overload) .
4. In the overloaded situation while continue to use the machine may cause some other
losses even machine can’t work normally,then manufacturers warranty is unavailable.
5. Machine installed with inverter is aim at speed adjusting protect you and the machine
from harm. Changes and adjustment of the inverter parameters without the consent of
the manufacturer is prohibited.If the device fails, you can only replace them by machine
parts that is provided by manufacturer. (Machine doesn’t work normally and other parts
losses due to the changes,adjustment and modify of the machine parameters without
the consent of the manufacturer will not get the guarantee. )
6. Alteration of inner parts and circuit of the inverter is prohibited
7. Do not operate the machine when electrical panels is opened
8. Special attention must be paid while a machine is current overloaded
9. Live wire or wire overloaded, do not connect or pick the wire.
10. Use of a damaged power cord may cause electric shock. Do not use a
damaged power cord.
11. Keep cord away from hot surfaces.
12. The machine and its electrical equipment should be kept in all aridity condition, the
machine should be stored in a dry place.
13. After cutting off the power supply,while panel LED is not off, which
means the inverter still has high voltage. Very dangerous, do not touch
uninsulated electrical equipment parts.

3、Machine
3.1 Overview
800-4E is used to grind, coarse grind, prepare and polish concrete, natural stone and
terrazzo floors or other materials specified in this manual .
800-4E is equipped with radio control. Radio control is an accessory that eases the work
considerably. ( Pleas find it in Manual )
The handle can be set in a number of different tilt positions. When you use the machine
manually, adjust to your best position. The machine’s grinding head can be equipped with
one of several different grinding discs that are covered by a sealed sloping cover against the
floor. Because the cover is floating, the dust uptake is optimized since it is always in contact
with the surface.
Always make sure that a dust extractor is connected to the grinder during dry grinding to
prevent as far as possible exposure to dust particles of operators, people in the vicinity, the
grinder and other equipment. Warn that the dust that is sucked up may be harmful if inhaled,
wear your mask to guarantee the healthy.
The machine can be easily equipped with a large number of tools, depending on the
floor material to be ground.

3.3 Oscilating rod accessories
3.3.1 Overview
1. Operate hand grip: the position where user put his hand when operating
2. Sponge cover(hand grip): make more comfortable when operating.
3. Operating hand grip angle adjustment plug: when make plug comes out, the hand grip
could rotate freely to the most suitable position to operate the machines(the details please
find on the Manuel)
4. Emergency Switch by manual:when machine is in dangerous state and near to stop, it
should cut off the power through emergency switch,when the equipment stopped, it could
protect human and equipment safe.
5. Reverse and forwards switch: this switch has three level, spinning open emergency
switch, change direction , left is motor forwards, if if middle is non-rotation,right direction is
reverse.
6. USB charge(clock):mainly used for phone charging and work as clock.

7. Working light:when machine is working normally, the working light will turn on.
8. Locking bar of Oscilating rod:lock the oscilating rod rotation.
9. Power light: when machine connect with power, the power light will turn on.
10. Display screen:mainly display some specification , such as voltage, amperage,motor
speed,over load fault warning.
11. LED light switch, it use for control the LED light switch.
12. Speed adjust switch: it mainly useful control motor speed.
13. Manual/remote control speed switch key: you could use key to change the model of
manual or remote control.
14. Oscilating rod angle adjust hand grip:using this hand grip could change the angle
of Oscilating rod, it will be some position when in some degree working states. More
details please find on Manual.
3.3.2 LED light switch equipment
When turn the switch to “on”，open the LED light,otherwise,turn off.
LED light bottom is magnet for free movement.

3.3.4 USB charge(Clock)
The part on control panel which looks like a clock is a USB charge, it is
convenient for user to charge your phone with the machine and check your time
as well.

Note:
Close the clock cover while you are not charging the mobile phone. Do not
expose the USB as dust will block the interface.
3.3.5 Hand grip
The adjustable plug on the handle is for position changing to meet different
requirements of clients. Hold the arm and pull out the plug with your another
hand to rotate to your best position.
Note:
1. The plug will be blocked when you try to pull out from the handle. Shake
the handle and this problem can be solved.
2. If plug is unable to back, it may be the hole dislocation, rotate up and

3. Machine sure the plug is in resetting position then start the machine.
3.3.6 The angle adjustment of swing lever.
Hold the stainless steel arm with one hand, and pull the swing lever handle
with another hand, then the height and position of the full machine control
panel can be adjusted.
Note:
Make sure the swing lever is fully located on the base plate after your adjusting
and then use the machine.
3.4 Front wheel
3.4.1 The dismantle of front wheel
The installation of supporting wheel can make the turning of machine
more smooth, and save labor in transportation.
Dismantle or overturn the support wheel when grinding.
How to dismantle: Press the emergency stop switch, plug off the machine,
take out the R plug from the open pin, and you can remove the front wheel.
Installation of front wheel : Press the emergency stop switch, plug off the
machine, align the front wheel to the holes on the frame beside the motor, and
fix with the pin, finally lock with the R pin.

Note: The pin may be stuck sometimes when you try to pull out, shake the
frame in this case.

The front wheel can be lowered by rotating its handle and raise the
grinding head from the working area.

Remove the diamond tooling from the grinding plates to prevent lost.

3.4.3 Overturn of the front wheel
1. Remove the R pin, then take out the locating pin (No. 1 parts)
2. Overturn the front wheel.
3. Insert the locating pins and lock with R-pin.
Note:
The front wheel can be overturned only when it’s dropped to the lowest
