USB security keyboards
This operating manual contains information and notes for users and administrators (application
developers) for secure operation of the chip card terminal KB SCR2 eSIG.
These instructions describe the following keyboards:
●KB SCR2 eSIG keyboard
– PC/SC-compatible SmartCard reader with SPE (Secure PIN Entry)
– The KB SCR2 eSIG is in accordance with the German Electronic Signatures act for
framework conditions and the German Ordinance on Electronic Signatures (SigG and
SigV) and was validated by the German TÜViT with common criteria EAL 3+. The
manufactures declaration of conformity is issued in accordance with the German
Electronic Signatures act for framework conditions (SigG), section 17, subsection 4,
sentence 2 and the German Ordinance on Electronic Signatures (SigV), section 15,
subsection 15, sentence 1.
●KB SCR2 keyboard
– PC/SC-compatible SmartCard reader with SPE (Secure PIN Entry)
The keyboard fulfills the ergonomic requirements of full size keyboards for work place systems acc. to
DIN EN ISO 9241-400 and DIN EN ISO 9241-410.

●Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server 32/64, Windows XP 32/64, Windows Vista 32/64,
Windows 7 32/64, Windows 8 32/64, Windows 8.1 32/64
●USB port
For more information, please see the enclosed "Driver & Utilities" DVD. This contains the necessary
drivers and tools for the SmartCard reader.
You need additional software to be able to use the smart card reader.
Latest firmware, drivers and tools can be downloaded from http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/.
