Performance
With its high-speed Intel®Core™ 2 Duo
Processor, the LifeBook A1130 provides all the
computing power you will ever need, even for
the most demanding applications.
The LifeBook A1130 comes standard with a
Dual-Layer, Multi-format DVD writer. The Dual-
layer DVD-R or RW technology lets you record
up to 8.5 GB of data on a single disc. This nearly
doubles the standard DVD capacity of 4.7 GB.
In other words, a Dual-layer DVD-R/RW disc will
hold up to 4 hours of DVD quality video or 16
hours of VHS quality video. Dual-layer discs can
also be read on DVD players that were originally
designed for single-layer discs. Of course you
can listen to your CDs and write to CD-Rs as
well.
Personalize your notebook
A variety of Colour Lids are available for your
LifeBook A1130. They can protect your computer
from scratches while giving your notebook a
personalized look. A unique cover will also make
your notebook less of a target for theft. Who
would want to take a personal computer that
would be so easy to spot?
Flexible Connectivity
With both 56K modem and Ethernet LAN built-
in, you can easily connect to your office network
and the Internet at home or at work. For wireless
connectivity, the built-in Atheros XSPAN®BGN
(802.11BGN) wireless offers you a seamless and
flexible way to stay in touch using transfer rates
as high as 108 Mbps. The webcam adds a fun
(and very useful) dimension to staying in touch
with family and friends.

1) Preinstalled with a free 90-day trial version of
Symantec Norton Internet Security 2008. The 90-day
trial version is activated upon user’s acceptance of
software license agreement. After 90 days, the user
must purchase a subscription from Symantec to
download latest virus definitions.
2) One gigabyte (GB) = one billion bytes; accessible
capacity will be less and actual capacity depends on
the operating environment and formatting.
3) The internal modems on all Fujitsu notebooks from
Fujitsu Canada, Inc. are only qualified for use with
telephone systems in selected countries, including
the United States and Canada. For a list of certified

4) Actual speeds over North American telephone lines
vary, and are less than 56 Kbps due to the current FCC
regulations and line conditions.
