The LifeBook N6470 notebook rivals the performance
of most desktop computers with its fast Intel®Core™
2 Duo Processor, providing a noticeable performance
boost on multithreading and multi-tasking operations.
Dazzling imagery that seamlessly moves and responds
is made possible with up to 4 GB of dual channel
DDR2 memory and 512 MB of HyperMemory™3on
the ATI Radeon®HD 2600 graphics processor. The
large, 17” Colour-Enhanced Crystal View WXGA+
TFTLCD display exploits your DVD player’s potential
for saturated colors and razor-sharp detail. Notebook
storage capacity can sometimes present a challenge—
not so with the LifeBook N6470 notebook. It can be
confi gured with dual hard drives for up to 600 GB of
storage, challenging the most ambitious data pack-
rats to fi ll that much capacity. From power-hungry
3D games to video editing, with the LifeBook N6470
notebook, you won’t sacrifi ce power for portability.
Sight and Sound
The vivid image quality you see on the large,
glossy, Crystal View display is 40% brighter than
the standard TFT screen. The display features deep
blacks and vibrant whites with a contrast ratio of
up to 600:1 (double the standard contrast ratio),
delivering an extremely rich visual experience. The
Visual Optimizer is a new feature which allows you
to greatly enhance your video viewing experience.
It provides rich image quality by employing cutting
edge technologies such as a 3D colour management
system, auto contrast correction, black and white
stretch, and edge enhancement. By pressing the Visual
Optimizer button while watching a DVD, there will be
a noticeable improvement in the colour and richness of
your display. The integrated HDMI port let’s you watch
your notebook contents and movies on a large-screen
HDTV. Fujitsu engineering has brought a new level of
refi nement to the LifeBook N6470 notebook’s internal
speakers. By applying innovative sound technology to
the notebook computer chassis, rich tone quality and
excellent base response has been attained. You have to
hear it to believe it.
Advanced Media Options
You can expand your creativity and enjoy the best
in home entertainment in an easy, complete, and
connected way with Genuine Windows Vista®Home
Premium. You will be able to store, share, and enjoy all
of your photos, music, home videos, and even watch,
record, or pause live TV (TV tuner option required) in
one sleek and easy-to-use system. The standard remote
control adds even more convenience by giving you the
ability to control your Media Center notebook from
across a room. With the many built-in media ports on
the LifeBook N6470 notebook, you can quickly and
easily download home movies and photos from your
digital camera and burn them onto a CD or DVD.
You can also save your favorite music and data to a
CD, synchronize your PDA, or connect to practically
any peripheral on the market. With the addition of a
media control panel (located above the keyboard)
playing your digital media is just a button push away.
With easy-to-access, one-touch controls, playing your
DVDs or CDs has never been easier.
The integrated biometric fi ngerprint reader is now
standard on the LifeBook N6470 notebook. One
advantage to fi ngerprint readers is that it associates
your fi ngerprint to passwords so now there are no
passwords to forget or cards to lose. The sensor also
functions as a scroll button so the enhanced security
comes at no cost to functionality.

With both modem and high-speed Gigabit Ethernet
built in, it is a very simple procedure to connect to your

activated upon user’s acceptance of software license.

3) 512 MB HyperMemory™ is a total of 256 MB dedicated
