The optional built-in camera, centered above

Security
The LifeBook P8010 notebook has an
integrated biometric ngerprint sensor that
puts industry-leading data security at your
ngertips. With the included Softex OmniPass
software, you only need to swipe your nger
or remember a single master password to keep
all of your system log-ins and data protected.
The ngerprint sensor also doubles as a scroll
button once you have logged in. Addition-
ally, the LifeBook P8010 notebook has an
embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
that can store data le passwords/keys on a
microchip and help protect your data. With a
security lock slot, you can keep your physical
assets safe as well. In a worse-case scenario,
Computrace will help track down your
stolen notebook.

The LifeBook P8010 notebook design in-
cludes a wide variety of ports that you would
typically nd on a notebook computer twice
its size, including three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE
1394, external monitor, RJ-45, RJ-11 ports,
and headphone and microphone jacks. For fast
and easy storage/ transfer of music, pictures
and data, the LifeBook P8010 notebook is
equipped with slot. The LifeBook P8010
does offer a PC card slot which is ideal for
inserting a WWAN card for ubiquitous
wireless connectivity.
A port replicator makes leaving your work
area a snap. Simply remove your notebook
from the port replicator—you don’t have to
deal with your network or a tangle of
peripheral cables. Productivity goes up
while frustration goes down.

1) Battery life estimates reflect the results of BAPCo
MobileMark2007 Productivity Workloads performed
upon systems with battery life setting enabled on
Windows®XP operating systems. Actual battery life
will vary based on screen brightness, applications
used, features selected, power management settings,
battery conditioning, and other customer preferences.
DVD/CD-RW, DVD Writer, LAN, wireless LAN or
hard drive usage may also have a significant impact
on battery life.
2) Preinstalled with a free 90-day trial version of
Symantec Norton Internet Security 20078. The 90-day
trial version is activated upon user’s acceptance of
software license agreement. After 90 days, the user
must purchase a subscription from Symantec to
download latest virus definitions.
