The LA SCAPPI Electric Indoor/Outdoor Grill is for household use only. Any other use is improper 3.
and may be dangerous.
Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. Do not allow cord to hang over an edge of a table or 4.
counter, or to touch hot surfaces. To disconnect, turn the control dial to 0 (OFF), then remove the
plug from the outlet.
For outdoor use, if needed, use an extension cord that has the sufx letter “W” marked on 5.
the surface, and has a tag that states that it is “suitable for use with outdoor appliances.”
The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
Keep the extension cord dry and off the ground. The cord should be arranged so that it 6.
will not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over unintentionally.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the grill malfunctions or is 7.
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility
for examination, repair, or adjustment.
Do not use if ceramic glass cooking surface is cracked or broken. If the cooktop should 8.
break, cleaning solution and spillovers may penetrate the broken cooktop and create a risk
of electric shock.
Do not place grill on or near a hot gas or electric burner or oven.9.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or grill body in water or other liquid.10.
Using accessories that are not made by this manufacturer is not recommended because they may 11.
cause injuries.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and knob.12.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.13.
Turn the temperature control to OFF and unplug the grill when not in use and before cleaning. 14.

Use extreme caution when moving the grill when it contains hot oil or other hot liquids. 15.

Clean the glass ceramic surface with a soft, diluted detergent and rinse thoroughly. Dry the grill.1.
Connect the grill to a properly grounded electrical outlet. 2.
Turn the temperature control dial to 5 (high power). Do not put any food on the grill. There may 3.
be a little smoke when the grill heats for the rst time. Don’t worry, this is normal and is not
dangerous.
After about 4 to 5 minutes, turn off the grill and allow it to cool. Your new LA SCAPPI Electric 4.
Indoor/Outdoor Grill will be ready for the rst of many years of healthy and safe use.
Attach the drip tray on the back of the grill. Slide the tray under the metal lip from the right end 5.
and push the tray all the way into place.

Connect the LA SCAPPI Electric Indoor/Outdoor Grill to a properly grounded electrical outlet. 1.
The yellow light is the power indicator.
Note: Do not let cord touch any hot surfaces. If using an extension cord, make sure it is rated
for outdoor use.
Turn the temperature control dial to the right to increase heat. Turn the dial to the left to 2.

Preheat the grill for 5 minutes before using.3.
