3 Temperature
Warning!
When the fan operates the fanhousing takes the
temperature of the conveyed media. If that temperature
exceeds 50°C the fan must be protected from direct
contact to prevent burninjury.
4 Electrical connection
Warning!
E ectrica connection must be made by ski ed abour
on y. The drivemotor shou d be protected with an
over oad switch.
5 Permitted applications
Warning!
F-fans are not to be used for conveying aggressive, toxic
or air with high humidity or gas or exp osive air-gas
mix.
6 Sound level
The sound pressure level is not the same over the fans
whole range. In some cases it is necessary to use a
silencer. We recommend the user to check the sound
pressure level.
D Installation
1 Transportation
Check all parts for damage during transportation and
that the impeller runs free inside the housing. The
blowers are to be installed in weather-protected places
and are not to be stored outdoors unprotected. Mount
hoisting hook carefully, and do only use lifting
arrangements with sufficient strength.
2 Arrangements and assembling
Mount the fan hori ontally or vertically in a weather-
protected place. Make sure that the fan is protected from
vibration and shock. Supply open inlet and dis-charge
openings with guards according to valid regulations.
Make sure that the drive motor is supplied with sufficient
ventilation. The permitted maximum temperature of
surroun-dings is 40°C.
3 Electrical connection
Attention!
The operations described in this part is to be made by
skilled labour only. Connect the fan in accordance with
the wiring diagram in the terminal box. The respec-tive
VDE regulations and the directions of the local power
supply company are to be complied with.
The fan is equipped with a drivemotor for single- or
three-phase AC. The motor should be protected with an
over-load switch. Connection to earth is to be found in
the terminal box.

4 Inspection of rotation direction
Start up the fan for a short moment, inspect the rotation
direction. The rotation direction on the impeller must
be in accordance with the arrows on the motor. If not,
move the L1 and L3 phases for three-phase operation
or check the wiring circuit in the terminal box for single-
phase operation. Incorrect rotation direction will cause
reduced capa-city of the fan.
E Start of operation
If the rated current indicated on the rating plate is being
exceeded during opera-tion, it should be checked whether
the available supply voltage and frequency are in
accordance with the embossed data. Some blowers
cannot be ope-rated with free airflow (see catalogue).
The drivemotor is si ed for the power requirements
when the fan operates in the filled part of the capacity
curve. At lower resistance the working range moves out
to the pointed part of the capacity curve and the airvolume
and current increase. The motor will be overloaded with
possible overheating as a consequence. To avoid overload
it is possible to fit a throttle flap on the inlet- or
dischargeside. Do not expose the fan to vibrations and
shock.
F Maintenance
F blowers are equipped with enclosed grooved ball
bearings which do not need lubrication. The grease
filling is sufficient for the whole service life of the
bearings.
Attention!
Repair work on blowers should be done in the factory
only. We do not take any responsibility for repairs made
by third parties.
G Spare parts list
When ordering spare parts please state si e of blower
and part number in ac-cordance with the spare parts list.

as long as it is not assembled into the main installation
respectively not all necessary safety devices have been
installed which fulfil the requirements of the EC directive
for machines with regard to safety and health.

3 Temperatur
Varning!
Under drift antar f äkthuset den transporterade uftens
temperatur. Om denna överstiger 50°C måste f äkten
skyddas mot direkt beröring för att förebygga
brännskador.
4 Elektrisk anslutning
Varning!
E ektrisk ans utning får endast utföras av behörig
e ektriker. Drivmotorn måste förses med ett motorskydd
innan f äkten sätts i drift.
5 Tillåtet användningsområde
Varning!
F-f äktar får inte användas för transport av: aggressiva,
giftiga e er exp osionsbenägna gaser samt gaser med
hög fuktha t.
6 Ljudnivå
Ljudnivån från fläkten är inte densamma över hela
effektområdet. I vissa ogynnsamma tillämpningsfall
fordras ljuddämpande åtgärder. Vi rekommenderar
användaren att mäta ljudnivån.
D Installation
1 Transport
Kontrollera före montering och driftsättning att
komponenterna inte är transportskadade och att
fläkthjulet löper fritt. Fläkten måste skyddas mot fukt
och får inte lagras oskyddad utomhus. Anbringa
lyftanordningar med största noggrannhet. Använd endast
lyftanordningar med tillräcklig hållfasthet.
2 Uppställning och montering
Ställ upp fläkten horisontellt eller vertikalt och tillse att
den skyddas mot väderpåverkan. Skydda fläkten mot
vibration och stötpåkänning. Förse öppna insug- och
utblåsningsöppningar med skyddsgaller enligt gällande
bestämmelser. Tillse att drivmotorn får tillräcklig
ventilation. Max tillåten omgivningstemperatur är 40°C.
3 Elektrisk anslutning
OBS!
De moment som beskrivs i detta avsnitt får endast utföras
av en behörig elektriker. Anslut fläkten enligt
kopplingsschemat i anslutningslådan och i enlighet med
gällande lokala bestämmelser.
Fläkten är utrustad med en drivmotor för 1- eller 3-fas
växelström. Drivmotorn måste förses med ett
motorskydd. Jordanslutning finns i anslutningslådan.

Denna instruktion måste alltid vara tillgänglig för
driftspersonalen. Före montering och inkoppling läs
noggrant igenom anvisningarna. Genom att följa
instruktionerna tillförsäkras störningsfri drift i många
år.

Följande data hänför sig till fläktens grundutförande.
Levererad fläkt kan emellertid avvika från
grundutförandet. Se märkskylten eller text
"Specialutförande". Radialfläktar typ F har hus i lackerad
stålplåt och hjul i gjuten aluminium.
F har hjul med raka radiella skovlar och är lämpad för
transport av stoft- och materialbemängd luft.
Temperaturen hos den transporterade gasen får inte
överstiga 80°C. Fläkten får inte användas i miljöer där
temperaturen överstiger 40°C eller understiger -20°C,
ej heller i explosionsbenägen atmosfär. Den får inte
byggas om eller på annat sätt modifieras.
Specialutföranden som kan användas för andra
tillämpningar än de ovan beskrivna, kan offereras på
begäran.
ärkskylt
I samband med anslutning, underhåll och beställning
av reservdelar skall märkskyltens data beaktas i första
hand.
Specialutförande
Temperaturspärr och explosionsskyddade motorer kan
erhållas på begäran och efter kontakt med tillverkarens
tekniska avdelning.
B Garanti
Garanti gäller i enlighet med allmänna
leveransbestämmelser NL92 och enbart om dessa
instruktioner noggrant följs.
C Säkerhet
Följande säkerhetsanvisningar skall noggrant beaktas
i syfte att förebygga person- och kringutrustningsskador
samt skador på själva fläkten.
1 Sugkraft
Varning!
Radia f äktar har en mycket hög sugkraft. Föremå ,
k ädesp agg och hår kan ätt sugas in mot sugstosen
och orsaka personskador. Se ti att inga personer
uppehå er sig i närheten av insugningsöppningen då
f äkten är i drift. Skyddsga er på sugsidan får av ägsnas
endast under förutsättning att det ersätts med en s ang
e er en trumma av minst 1 m ängd. F äkten får a drig
köras med oskyddad insugningsöppning eftersom
f äkthju et kan orsaka svåra personskador.
2 Utblåsningsöppning
Varning!
Det kommer en kraftig uftström från
utb åsningsöppningen. Eventue a föremå som sugits
in i f äkten kan s ungas ut med hög hastighet och orsaka
personskador. Sätt a drig handen i utb åsningsöppningen.
4 Kontroll av rotationsriktning
Starta fläkten ett kort ögonblick, kontrollera
rotationsriktningen. Fläkthjulets rotationsriktning måste
överensstämma med pilen på fläkthuset. Om så inte är
fallet, växla faserna L1 och L3 vid 3-fasdrift eller se
kopplingsschema vid 1-fasdrift. Vid felaktig
rotationsriktning kommer fläktkapaciteten att reduceras
och fläkthjulet kan skadas.
E Drift
Om drivmotorns märkström överskrids under drift,
kontrollera om spänning och frekvens överensstämmer
med de data som anges på märkskylten. Somliga storlekar
kan ej gå friblåsande (se prospekt). Motorn är
dimensionerad för effektbehovet då fläkten arbetar inom
den heldragna delen av varvtalskurvan. Vid lägre
anläggningsmotstånd förflyttas arbetspunkten ut i den
streckade delen, luftflödet och effektbehovet ökar,
motorn blir överbelastad med eventuell överhettning
som följd. Överbelastning kan undvikas genom insättning
av styrdon på tryck- eller sugsidan som minskar flödet
och återför arbetspunkten till den heldragna delen av
kurvan. Fläkten får inte utsättas för vibration eller
stötpåkänning.
F Underhåll och reparationer
Fläktarna är utrustade med slutna kullager som inte
behöver smörjas. Enheterna är underhållsfria.
OBS!
Reparationer får endast utföras av tillverkaren. Vi åtar
oss inget ansvar för reparationer som utförts av tredje
part.
G Reservdelslista
Vid beställning av reservdel, ange alltid fläkttyp och
storlek samt nummer enligt sprängskiss.

personnel all the time. The instructions should be read
carefully before installation and operation of the blower.
If strict notice is taken of these instructions, the blowers
will operate faultlessly for years.

A echnical data
Following data is for the fan in its basic form, however,
delivered fan can differ from the basic form. See the
marksign or the text "Special execution". Blowers type
F have casing of powder coated sheet steel and impeller
of cast aluminium, F has impeller of paddle type suitable
for transport of dust- and material mixed gas.
The temperature of the conveyed medium may not
exceed 80°C. It is not per-mitted to use the fan in
surroundings where the temperature exceeds 40°C or
goes below -20°C. Conveying of explosive gases is not
permitted. It is not permitted to rebuild or in any other
way modify the fan. Special features that can be used
in other surroundings than above can be offered on
request and clarification with the manufacturer.

When connecting, maintenance or ordering of spare
parts, pay attention to data on the marksign in first
instance.
Special executions
Temperature barrier, EEx motors, housing and impeller
in other materials, can be delivered on request and after
clarification with the manufacturer.
B Warranty
Warranty is valid in accordance with General conditions
Orgalime S92 and only if these instructions are strictly
adhered to.
C Safety
Following safety instructions must be carefully followed
with regard to preventing injury or damage to surrounding
equipment and to the fan itself.
1 Suction
Warning!
Centrifuga fans have high suctionpower. Objects,
c othing and hair can easi y be sucked in to the fan and
cause injury. Make sure that there are no persons nearby
the in etside when the fan operates. Protection guard
may be removed on y if it is rep aced with a hose or
pipe of at east 1 m. The fan must never operate without
a wire guard because the rotating impe er can cause
serious injury.
2 Discharge side
Warning!
There is a powerfu stream of air from the discharge
side. Foreign bodies that might have been sucked in to
the fan can be thrown out at high speed and cause injury.
Never put the hand direct y at the discharge opening.
