passed through our extensive quality assurance
process. Every care has been taken to ensure that it
reaches you in perfect condition.
SAFETY FIRST
Before attempting to operate this power tool the
following basic safety precautions should always be
taken to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
personal injury. It is important to read the instruction
manual to understand the application, limitations and
potential hazards associated with this tool.
CERTIFICATE OF GUARA TEE
This product is guaranteed for a period of 2 Years,
with effect from the date of purchase and applies only
to the original purchaser. This guarantee only applies
to defects arising from, defective materials and or
faulty workmanship that become evident during the
guarantee period only and does not include
consumable items. The manufacturer will repair or
replace the product at their discretion subject to the
following. That the product has been used in
accordance with the guide lines as detailed in the
product manual and that it has not been
subjected to misuse, abuse or used for a purpose for
which it was not intended. That it has not been taken
apart or tampered with in any way whatsoever or has
been serviced by unauthorised persons or has been
used for hire purposes. Transit damage is excluded
from this guarantee, for such damage the transport
company is responsible. Claims made under this
guarantee must be made in the first instance, directly
to the retailer within the guarantee period. Only under
exceptional circumstances should the product be
returned to the manufacturer. In these case it shall be
the consumer’s responsibility to return the product at
their cost ensuring that the product is adequately
packed to prevent transit damage and must be
accompanied with a brief description of the fault and
a copy of the receipt or other proof of purchase. The
manufacturer shall not be liable for any special,
exemplary, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential
loss or damage under this guarantee. This guarantee
is in addition to and does not affect any rights, which
the consumer may have by virtue of the Sale of Goods
Act 1973 as amended 1975 and 1999.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL
When this product reaches the end of it’s life or is
disposed of for any other reason, it must not be
disposed of in household waste. In order to preserve
natural resources, and to minimise adverse
environmental impact, please recycle or dispose of
this product in an environmentally friendly way. It
should be taken to your local waste recycling centre
or other authorised collection and disposal facility.
If in doubt consult your local waste authority for
information regarding available recycling and / or
disposal options.

operate this product and save these instructions.
Warning! When using the unit, basic safety
precaution, including the following, should always be
followed to reduce the risk or serious personal injury
and damage to the unit. Read all these instructions
before operating this product and save these
instructions.
The device must not be used by people (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental
faculties or who lack the necessary experience and/or
knowledge - other than they are supervised by a
person responsible for safety or are being instructed
to operate the machine by such a person.
Keep children and pets at a safe distance away from
the device. Children must be supervised in order to
ensure that they do not play with the equipment.
Never allow children or other persons unfamiliar with
the user manual to use the shredder. Local regulations
or bylaws may determine the minimum age for using
the shredder.
Observe local noise and other regulations.
CAUTION! When using powered tools, observe the
following basic safety measures for the prevention of
electric shocks and the risk of injury and fire:
PREPARATIO
Never use the shredder with other persons or animals
nearby.
Wear hearing and eye protection at all times when
using the shredder.
Wear appropriate protective clothing such as
protective gloves, firm footwear and long trousers. Do
not wear loosely fitting clothes or clothes with
dangling cords or belts.
Only use the shredder in the open (that is, away from
walls or other rigid structures) on a firm, level surface.
Do not use the machine on a paved or gravelled area,
or which could be damaged by ejected material.
Before you start up the shredder, check that all of the
nuts, bolts and other fastenings are tight. Covers must
be fastened properly and in good working order.
Replace any damaged or illegible stickers.
Do not leave the shredder working unattended and
keep it in a dry place out of children’s reach.
While being used in the open, connect the shredder to
a residual current (RC) circuit breaker with a trip
current of not more than 30 mA.

Shut-off the power unit before attaching or removing
the collection box.
Keep all guards and deflectors in place and in good
working condition.
WORKI G WITH THE SHREDDER
Make sure that the feed chute is empty before you
start the shredder.
Keep your head, hair and body away from the intake
opening.
Do not reach into the feed chute during operation. The
shredder will continue to run for a short period after
you switch it off.
Always make sure you are standing in a firm,
balanced position. Do not lean forwards, and never
stand above the shredder when inserting materials.
Make sure that the material inserted into the shredder
does not contain hard objects made of metal, stone,
glass or similar.
Do not use the shredder in the rain and in bad
weather. Work in daylight or under good lighting
conditions.
Do not operate the shredder when you are tired or
distracted, or under the influence of alcohol or
medication. Always take a break when you need one
and be sensible about how you work.
Switch the shredder off and pull the plug under the
following circumstances:
when you are not using the device,
transporting it or leaving it unattended;
before releasing a jammed blade.
when you are checking the device, cleaning it or
removing blockages;
when you are carrying out cleaning or maintenance
work or replacing accessories;
before moving or lifting the shredder.
If foreign objects should enter the shredder, if the
shredder is making unfamiliar noises or vibrations
(check the shredder for damage before starting it up
again).
Do not allow shredded material to accumulate near
the ejection area. This may otherwise hinder proper
ejection and force the material back up through the
funnel.
Do not transport or tip the shredder with the motor
running.
Keep hands, other body parts and clothing out of the
filling chamber and ejection channel and away from
other moving parts.
In the event of blockages in the machine intake or
ejection, switch off the motor and disconnect the
machine from the mains before removing leftover
material in the intake opening or ejection channel.
Ensure that the motor is free of rubbish and other
accumulations in order to safeguard the motor from
damage or possible fire.
Remember that the cutting tool is also activated when
the starting mechanism is started on a motor operated
machine.

core diameter for extension cables measuring up to
25m must be at least 1.5 mm2, and 2.5 mm2for cables
longer than 25m. Always roll the whole cable off the
reel before use. Check the cable for damage.
The supply voltage must correspond to the voltage
specified on the modelplate.

Do not abuse the cable. Never move the shredder by
the cable or pull the cable to disconnect it from the
mains socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil and
sharp edges. Ensure that the cable is arranged so that
it cannot be tripped over, stepped on or have heavy
weights rested on it. Make sure the cable will not be
subjected to any damage.
Do not use the shredder if the cables are damaged or
worn.
Do not connect a damaged cable to the mains supply
or touch a damaged cable before it is disconnected
from the mains supply. A damaged cable can lead to
an electric shock.
GE ERAL SAFETY RULES

fire and/or serious injury. The term "power tool" in all
of the warnings listed below refers to your mains
operated (corded) power tool or battery operated
(cordless) power tool.

1) WORK AREA
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and
dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you
to lose control.
2) ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never
modify the plug in any way. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or
moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an
extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a
cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.
3) PERSO AL SAFETY
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool. Do
not use a power tool while you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
Amoment of inattention while operating power
tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use safety equipment. Always wear eye
protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection used for appropriate conditions will
reduce personal injuries.
c) Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in
the off position before plugging in. Carrying power
tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in
power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on.
A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part
of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better control of
the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery
or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust
extraction and collection facilities, ensure these
are connected and properly used. Use of these
devices can reduce dust related hazards.
4) POWER TOOL USE A D CARE
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct power
tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not
turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing power tools. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power
tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children
and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the
power tool or these instructions to operate the
power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.

e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the power
tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool
repaired before use. Many accidents are caused
by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges
are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc.,
in accordance with these instructions and in the
manner intended for the particular type of power
tool, taking into account the working conditions
and the work to be performed. Use of the power
tool for operations different from intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
5) SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
COMPO E TS & CO TROLS (FIG.1)
U PACKI G
Caution! This packaging contains sharp objects. Take
care when unpacking. Remove the machine, together
with the accessories supplied, from the packaging.
Check carefully to ensure that the machine is in good
condition and account for all the accessories listed in
this manual. Also make sure that all the accessories
are complete. If any parts are found to be missing, the
machine and its accessories should be returned
together in their original packaging to the retailer.
Do not throw the packaging away, keep it safe
throughout the guarantee period, then recycle if
possible, otherwise dispose of it by the proper means.
Do not let children play with empty plastic bags due
to the risk of suffocation.
ASSEMBLY
Note: Before carrying out any assembly or
disassembly of the unit please ensure that the unit is
not connected to the electrical supply.

ASSEMBLY
ASSEMBLI G THE BASE STA D
Place the body of the shredder upside down on a flat
level surface, ig.2, and attach the stand into the
holes located under the shredder, ig.3.
ASSEMBLI G THE WHEELS
Remove a split pin from one side of the wheel axle.
Slide one wheel onto the wheel axle, ig.4, and slide it
through the holes in the stand, ig.5. Attach the
remaining wheel onto the wheel axle and insert the
split pin through the axle, ig.6 to secure in place.
Attach the wheel covers onto both wheels to complete
the wheel assembly, ig.7.
ATTACHI G THE COLLECTIO BAG
Attach the collection bag to the shredder by placing
the bag under the discharge chute and hook the bag
straps onto the collection bag mounts on the sides of
the shredder, ig.8.
OPERATIO
SWITCHI G THE SHREDDER O A D OFF
Make sure that the mains power voltage corresponds
to the information on the rating label on the shredder.
If you shredder is fitted with a long mains cable you
can plug this directly into a suitable power supply,
using an RCD device if necessary.
Make sure that the feed chute is empty before
starting.
Press the On/Off switch to start and stop the motor,
ig.9.

Press the reset switch. ig.10, if the shredder does
not work, ensure you have connected to the power
supply.
When the motor has been running for a few seconds
you can commence shredding.
The reset switch will be activated in the following
circumstances:
1. A build up of shredded material around the cutting
disc.
2. If the material being shredded is greater than the
motor capacity.
3. Where there is too much resistance against the
cutting blade.
When the reset switch has been activated switch-off
the shredder and disconnect the mains power supply.
1. Unscrew the housing interlock screw/clamp,
ig.11, at the back of the shredder.
2. Remove the debris or obstruction from the cutting
area.
3. Return the top section and tighten the housing
interlock screw/clamp.
4. Leave the motor a few minutes to cool down.
5. Reconnect the power supply and press the reset
switch.
6. When ready to start shredding ensure the On/Off
switch is in the Off position before restarting.
WAR I G! Never loosen the housing interlock
screw/clamp without first having turned off the On/Off
switch and pulled the plug out of the socket.
USI G THE PLU GER
The plunger is provided to aid feeding garden waste
into the feed chute.
Load the material into feed chute.
Insert the plunger into the feed chute pushing the
material onto the blade disc, ig.12.
Wait unti all the material has been shredded before
adding more material.
WARNING! Your fingers must never enter the feed
chute. Do not over reach.
COLLECTI G SHREDDED MATERIAL
Turn off the shredder and disconnect from the power
supply before attaching or removing the collection
bag.
To collect shredded material you can either use
collection bag supplied or place the shredder on a
tarpaulin sheet to catch the shredded material.
Refer to ‘Attaching The Collection Bag’.
WAR I G! The ventilation slots on the shredder body
must never be covered by the collection bag or
shredded material.
MAI TE A CE
REPLACI G THE BLADES
When both cutting edges of the blade become worn
they must be replaced as a pair. The blades can be
re-sharpened but this must be done by an
experienced person using an oil stone. We do not
recommend this be done as the weight of each blade
is critical to maintain the balance of the cutting disc.
This could cause damage to the machine and
possible injury to the operator.
The blades have two cutting edges. When the blades
become worn they can be reversed to use the second
cutting edge.
Ensure the shredder is switched off and disconnected
from the mains power supply.
Remove the top feed assembly by unscrewing the
housing interlock screw/clamp, ig.13.
Undo and remove all the crews located on the
shredder body and remove the grey plate to gain
access to the blades, ig.14.
Lock the centre blade disc using a hexagon
key/wrench. Unscrew the hexagonal screws on the
blades as shown in ig.15.
Remove the blade, and rotate it through 180º and fit
the blade to the blade disc ensuring that the ground
cutting edge is facing downwards. Repeat this
process for the other blade and then replace the grey
plate and secure with the screws.
Attach the top feed to the body ensuring that the top
feed is connected to the body as shown in ig.16.
Once upright and aligned secure using the housing
interlock screw/clamp.
WAR I G! Always use CE approved work gloves
when replacing or handling the blades.
GE ERAL MAI TE A CE
WAR I G! During maintenance and cleaning ensure
the shredder is switched off and disconnected from
the mains power supply.
When cleaning or servicing the shredder be aware
that, even though the motor will not start due to the
interlock feature of the guard, the blade disc can still
rotate if the motor is turned by hand. Never attempt to
override the interlock feature of the guard.
Remove deposited matter from the shredder using a
brush.
Always clean the shredder after use. Clean the plastic
body and plastic parts using a moist/damp cloth. Use
a small brush to clean off the outside of the unit. Do
not use strong detergents, household cleaners that
contain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, and
solvents such as kerosene as they can damage plastic

housings or handles. Wipe off any moisture with a
soft, dry cloth.
Make sure no water is allowed to enter into the
shredder.
Never clean the shredder with a jet of water or by
rinsing.
CLEA I G THE BAG
Empty the bag after each use to avoid deterioration.
Wearing eye protection and a dust mask, clean the
bag as needed. Turn the bag inside out after initial
emptying and vigorously shake out debris.
Wash the bag once a year, or more often if needed:
1. Remove the bag.
2. Turn bag inside out.
3. Hang it up.
4. Hose it down thoroughly.
5. Leave it hanging to dry.
6. Turn bag right-side out and reinstall.
STORAGE
Store the unit locked up to prevent unauthorized use
or damage.
Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Store the unit out of the reach of children

TUOTTEE HÄVITTÄMI E
Kun tuotteen käyttöikä loppuu tai se hävitetään

VALMISTELU
Älä käytä oksasilppuria, jos lähistöllä on muita
henkilöitä tai eläimiä.
Käytä aina kuulosuojaimia ja suojalaseja, kun käytät
oksasilppuria.
Käytä asianmukaista suojavaatetusta, kuten
suojakäsineitä, tukevia jalkineita ja pitkälahkeisia
housuja. Älä käytä väljiä vaatteita tai vaatteita, joissa
on tarttuvia naruja tai hihnoja.
Käytä oksasilppuria vain avoimessa paikassa (esim.
poissa seinien tai muiden kiinteiden kohteiden
läheisyydestä) ja tasaisella ja vakaalla pinnalla.

TÄRKEÄÄ

Älä käytä konetta kivetyllä tai soran peittämällä
pinnalla tai alueella, joka voi vaurioitua sinkoutuvista
aineksista.
Tarkasta ennen oksasilppurin käynnistämistä, että
kaikki mutterit, pultit ja muut kiinnikkeet ovat kunnolla
kiinni. Suojusten pitää olla kunnolla kiinni ja hyvässä
käyttökunnossa. Vaihda vaurioituneet tai
lukukelvottomat tarrat.
Älä jätä oksasilppuria päälle ilman valvontaa ja säilytä
se kuivassa paikassa poissa lasten ulottuvilta.
Yhdistä oksasilppuri avoimessa paikassa
vikavirtasuojakytkimeen (RC), jonka nimellinen
laukaisuvirta ei saa ylittää arvoa 30 mA.
Katkaise virransyöttö ennen kuin kiinnität tai irrotat
keruulaatikon.
Pidä kaikki suojukset ja ohjauslevyt hyvässä
käyttökunnossa.
OKSASILPPURI KÄYTTÄMI E
Tarkasta ennen oksasilppurin käynnistämistä, että
syöttökouru on tyhjä.
Pidä kasvot ja vartalo etäällä tuloaukosta.
Älä kurkottele syöttökouruun käytön aikana.
Oksasilppuri jatkaa käymistä hetken aikaa
sammuttamisen jälkeen.
Säilytä aina tukeva asento ja tasapaino. Älä nojaa
eteenpäin, äläkä seiso laitteen jalustaa korkeammalla
tasolla, kun syötät siihen materiaalia.
Varmista, että oksasilppuriin syötettävä materiaali ei
sisällä kovia aineita, kuten metallia, kiviä, lasia tai
vastaavia.
Älä käytä oksasilppuria sateessa tai huonoissa
sääolosuhteissa. Työskentele päivänvalossa tai
hyvässä keinovalossa.
Älä käytä oksasilppuria, kun olet väsynyt tai
hajamielinen tai alkoholin tai lääkkeiden vaikutuksen
alaisena. Pidä tauko aina kun tarvitset ja työskentele
järkevästi.
Sammuta oksasilppuri ja irrota pistoke seuraavissa
tapauksissa:
kun et käytä laitetta,
kun kuljetat sitä tai jätät sen ilman valvontaa;
ennen kuin vapautat jumittuneen terän.
kun tarkastat laitetta, puhdistat sitä tai poistat
tukoksia;
kun suoritat puhdistus- tai huoltotoimenpiteitä tai
vaihdat varusteita;
ennen oksasilppurin siirtämistä tai nostamista.
jos vieraita esineitä pääsee oksasilppuriin, jos laite
tuottaa epätavallista ääntä tai alkaa täristä (tarkasta
oksasilppurin ehjyys ennen uudelleen käynnistämistä).
Älä päästä materiaalia kerääntymään poistoaukon
alueelle. Tämä voi estää materiaalin poiston ja
aiheuttaa materiaalin takaiskuja ja sinkoutumista
syöttöaukon kautta.
Älä kuljeta tai kallista oksasilppuria moottorin ollessa
käynnissä.
Pidä kädet, muut kehonosat sekä vaatteet etäällä
täyttökammiosta ja poistokanavasta sekä muista
liikkuvista osista.
Mikäli koneen syöttö tai poisto tukkeutuu, sammuta
moottori ja irrota laite pistorasiasta ennen kuin yrität
poistaa kiinni jäänyttä materiaalia tuloaukosta tai
poistokanavasta. Pidä moottori puhtaana liasta tai
muista kerääntymisistä mahdollisen moottorivaurion
tai tulipalon välttämiseksi.
Muista, että leikkuuterä aktivoituu myös, kun
moottorikäyttöinen kone käynnistetään.
HUOMIO! Seuraavassa kuvataan, miten oksasilppurin
vaurioituminen ja mahdolliset henkilövahingot voidaan
estää:
Käsittele laitetta huolellisesti. Puhdista tuuletusaukot
säännöllisesti, noudata huolto-ohjeita.
Älä ylikuormita laitetta. Työskentele vain määritetyllä
tehoalueella. Älä käytä matalatehoisia koneita
raskaaseen työhön. Älä käytä laitetta tarkoituksiin,
joihin sitä ei ole suunniteltu.
Kytke oksasilppuri pois päältä vasta, kun syöttökouru
on täysin tyhjä. Oksasilppuri voi muutoin tukkeutua,
eikä ehkä käynnisty myöhemmin.
Älä yritä korjata oksasilppuria, ellei sinulla ole
pätevyyttä siihen. Kaikki työ, mitä ei ole määritetty
tässä käyttöoppaassa, tulee jättää huoltoliikkeen
tehtäväksi.
SÄHKÖTURVALLISUUS
HUOMIO! Seuraavassa kuvataan, miten oksasilppurin
vaurioituminen ja mahdolliset henkilövahingot voidaan
estää:
Käsittele laitetta huolellisesti. Puhdista tuuletusaukot
säännöllisesti, noudata huolto-ohjeita.
Älä ylikuormita laitetta. Työskentele vain määritetyllä
tehoalueella. Älä käytä matalatehoisia koneita
raskaaseen työhön. Älä käytä laitetta tarkoituksiin,
joihin sitä ei ole suunniteltu.
Kytke oksasilppuri pois päältä vasta, kun syöttökouru
on täysin tyhjä. Oksasilppuri voi muutoin tukkeutua,
eikä ehkä käynnisty myöhemmin.
Älä yritä korjata oksasilppuria, ellei sinulla ole
pätevyyttä siihen. Kaikki työ, mitä ei ole määritetty
tässä käyttöoppaassa, tulee jättää huoltoliikkeen
tehtäväksi.

Käytä vain ulkokäyttöön hyväksyttyjä jatkojohtoja,
jotka kestävät roiskeveden. Enintään 25 metrin pituiset
jatkojohdot vaativat johtimen 1,5 mm2
poikkileikkauksen ja yli 25 metrin pituiset jatkojohdot
2,5 mm2.Kelaa kaapeli koko pituudeltaan auki kelalta
ennen käyttämistä. Tarkasta kaapelin ehjyys.
Syöttöjännitteen tulee vastata arvokilpeen merkittyä
jännitettä.
Älä käytä kaapelia väärin. Älä siirrä oksasilppuria
kaapelista vetämällä tai irrota kaapelia pistorasiasta
kaapelista vetämällä. Pidä kaapeli etäällä
kuumuudesta, öljystä ja terävistä reunoista. Varmista,
että kaapeli on asetettu siten, että siihen ei voi
kompastua, sen päälle ei voi astua, eikä sen päällä ei
ole painavia esineitä. Varmista, ettei kaapeli altistu
vaurioille.
Älä käytä oksasilppuria, jos kaapelit ovat vaurioituneet
tai kuluneet.
Älä yhdistä vaurioitunutta kaapelia sähkövirtaan tai
koske vaurioituneeseen kaapeliin ennen kuin se on
irrotettu sähkövirrasta. Vaurioituneesta kaapelista voi
saada sähköiskun.
YLEISET TURVALLISUUSSÄÄ ÖT
VAROITUS! Lue kaikki ohjeet
Alla olevien ohjeiden noudattamatta jättäminen voi
aiheuttaa sähköiskun, tulipalon ja/tai vakavan
vamman. Käsite ”sähkötyökalu” kaikissa alla
luetelluissa varoituksissa viittaa sähkövirtakäyttöiseen
(johdotettuun) sähkötyökaluun tai akkukäyttöiseen
(johdotoomaan) sähkötyökaluun.
PIDÄ ÄMÄ OHJEET TALLELLA
1) TYÖALUE
a) Pidä työalue puhtaana ja hyvin valaistuna.
Roskaiset tai pimeät alueet lisäävät
onnettomuusriskiä.
b) Älä käytä työkaluja ympäristöissä, joissa on
räjähdysvaara, kuten helposti syttyvien nesteiden,
kaasujen tai pölyn läsnä ollessa. Työkalut
synnyttävät kipinöitä, jotka voivat sytyttää pölyn tai
höyryt tuleen.
c) Pidä lapset ja sivulliset poissa työkalua
käytettäessä. Häiriötekijät voivat haitata
keskittymistä.
2) SAHKÖTURVALLISUUS
a) Sähkötyökalun pistokkeiden tulee vastata
pistorasiaa. Älä koskaan muuta pistoketta millään
tavalla. Älä käytä sovitinpistokkeita maadoitettujen
sähkötyökalujen kanssa. Muuttamattomat
pistokkeet ja yhteensopivat pistorasiat vähentävät
sähköiskun vaaraa.
b) Vältä vartalokosketusta maadoitettuihin pintoihin
kuten putkiin, lämmittimiin, liesiin tai jääkaappeihin.
Sähköiskun vaara kasvaa, jos vartalosi on
maadoitettu.
c) Suojaa sähkötyökalut sateelta ja kosteudelta.
Sähkötyökalun sisään päässyt vesi lisää
sähköiskun vaaraa.
d) Älä käytä johtoa väärin. Älä koskaan käytä johtoa
sähkötyökalun kantamiseen, vetämiseen tai
irrottamiseen pistorasiasta. Pidä johto kaukana
lämmöstä, öljystä, terävistä reunoista ja liikkuvista
osista. Vaurioituneet tai sotkeutuneet johdot
lisäävät sähköiskun vaaraa.
e) Kun sähkötyökalua käytetään ulkotiloissa, käytä
jatkojohtoa, joka soveltuu ulkokäyttöön.
Ulkokäyttöön sopivan johdon käyttö vähentää
sähköiskun vaaraa.
3) HE KILÖTURVALLISUUS
a) Pysy valppaana, katso mitä teet ja käytä tervettä
järkeä käyttäessäsi työkalu. Älä käytä työkalu
ollessasi väsynyt tai huumeiden, alkoholin tai
lääkkeiden vaikutuksen alaisena. Hetkellinen
epähuomio työkalu käytettäessä voi johtaa
vakaviin henkilövammoihin.
b) Käytä suojavarustusta. Käytä aina suojalaseja.
Turvavarustus kuten hengityssuojain,
liukumattomat turvajalkineet, suojakypärä tai
kuulosuojain käytettynä asianmukaisissa
olosuhteissa vähentää henkilövammoja.
c) Vältä vahinkokäynnistyksiä. Varmista, että kytkin
on off-asennossa (sammutettuna) ennen virran
kytkemistä. Työkalun kantaminen sormi kytkimellä
tai virran kytkeminen päälle työkaluihin, joiden
kytkin on päällä, voi aiheuttaa onnettomuuksia.
d) Poista säätöavaimet tai jakoavaimet ennen
työkalun käynnistämistä. Jako- tai muu avain, joka
on jätetty kiinni työkalun pyörivään osaan voi
aiheuttaa henkilövamman.
e) Älä kurkottele. Pidä asianmukainen jalansija ja
tasapaino kaiken aikaa. Tämä mahdollistaa
työkalun paremman hallinnanodottamattomissa
tilanteissa.
f) Pukeudu asianmukaisesti. Älä pidä löysiä vaatteita
tai koruja. Pidä hiuksesi, vaatteesi ja käsineesi
poissa liikkuvista osista. Löysät vaatteet, korut tai
pitkä tukka voivat jäädä kiinni liikkuviin osiin.
g) Jos pölynpoistoon tai keräyslaitteisiin kytkettäviä
laitteita on toimitettu, varmista, että ne on kytketty
ja niitä käytetään asianmukaisesti. Näiden
laitteiden käyttö voi vähentää pölyyn liittyviä
vaaroja.
4) TYÖKALU KÄYTTÖ JA HUOLTO
a) Älä käytä voimaa työkaluun. Käytä
käyttötarkoitukseesi soveltuvaa työkalua.
Asianmukainen työkalu toimii paremmin ja
turvallisemmin teholla, jolla se on suunniteltu.
b) Älä käytä työkalua, jos kytkin ei käännä sitä päälle
ja pois päältä. Työkalu, jota ei voida kontrolloida
kytkimestä on vaarallinen, ja se tulee korjata.

c) Säilytä seisovat työkalut poissa lasten ulottuvilta,
äläkä anna henkilöiden, jotka eivät tunne työkalua
tai näitä ohjeita, käyttää työkalua. Työkalut ovat
vaarallisia kouluttamattomien käyttäjien käsissä.
d) Pidä työkalut kunnossa. Tarkasta liikkuvien osien
kohdistusvirheet tai kiinnitykset, osien murtumat ja
muut seikat, jotka voivat vaikuttaa sähkötyökalujen
käyttöön. Jos työkalu on vaurioitunut, korjauta se
ennen käyttöä. Monet onnettomuudet aiheutuvat
huonosti kunnossapidetyistä työkaluista.
e) Pidä leikkaustyökalut terävinä ja puhtaina.
Asianmukaisesti kunnossapidetyt leikkaustyökalut,
joissa on terävät leikkausreunat, eivät juutu
helposti ja niiden käsittely on helpompaa.
f) Käytä työkalua, lisävarusteita ja työkalupaloja tms.
näiden ohjeiden mukaisesti ja tavalla, johon
kyseessä oleva sähkötyökalu on tarkoitettu, ottaen
huomioon työolosuhteet ja suoritettava työ.
Työkalun käyttö toimintoihin, joihin sitä ei ole
tarkoitettu, voi johtaa vaaralliseen tilanteeseen.
5) HUOLTO
a) Jätä työkalun huolto pätevälle korjaajalle, joka
käyttää ainoastaan täsmälleen samanlaisia
varaosia. Näin varmistetaan, että työkalun
turvallisuus säilyy.

PAKKAUKSESTA PURKU
Huomio! Tämä pakkaus sisältää teräviä osia. Ole
varovainen pakkausta purkaessasi. Poista kone ja sen
mukana tulleet varusteet pakkauksesta. Tarkista
huolellisesti, että kone on hyvässä kunnossa ja kaikki
tässä käyttöoppaassa luetellut varusteet ovat mukana.
Varmista myös, että kaikki varusteet ovat täydellisiä.
Jos osia puuttuu, kone ja sen varusteet on
palautettava jälleenmyyjälle alkuperäisessä
pakkauksessa.
Älä heitä pakkausta pois, säilytä se koko takuuaika,
kierrätä sen jälkeen, mikäli mahdollista, tai hävitä
muulla asiallisella tavalla. Älä anna lasten leikkiä tyhjillä
muovipusseilla tukehtumisvaaran takia.

Poista sokka pyörän akselin toiselta sivulta. Liu’uta
yksi pyörä pyörän akselin päälle, kuva 4 ja liu’uta se
jalustan reikien läpi, kuva 5. Kiinnitä toinen pyörä
pyörän akselin päälle ja työnnä sokka akselin läpi,
kuva 6 kiinnittämään pyörä paikalleen.
Viimeistele pyörien kokoaminen kiinnittämällä pyörän
suojus kumpaankin pyörään, kuva 7.
KERUUPUSSI KII ITTÄMI E
Kiinnitä keruupussi oksasilppuriin asettamalla pussi
poistokourun alle ja ripustamalla pussin hihnat
keruupussille tarkoitettuihin koukkuihin oksasilppurin
sivuilla, kuva 8.

Käynnistä ja sammuta moottori painamalla

Paina suojakatkaisijaa. Kuva 10, jos oksasilppuri ei
toimi, varmista, että se on liitetty verkkovirtaan.
Kun moottori on käynyt muutamia sekunteja, voit
aloittaa oksien silppuamisen.
Suojakatkaisija aktivoituu seuraavissa tapauksissa:
1. Silputtu materiaali on kerääntynyt terien ympärille.
2. Jos silputtu materiaali on ylittänyt moottorin
kapasiteetin.
3. Jos leikkuuterään kohdistuu liian suuri vastus.
Jos suojakatkaisija on aktivoitunut, sammuta
oksasilppuri ja irrota se virtalähteestä.
1. Kierrä kotelon lukkoruuvi/puristin auki
oksasilppurin takaa, kuva 11.
2. Poista roskat tai tukokset leikkuualueelta.
3. Palauta yläosa paikoilleen ja kiristä kotelon
lukkoruuvi/puristin.
4. Anna moottorin jäähtyä muutaman minuutin.
5. Yhdistä virtalähde uudelleen ja paina
suojakatkaisijaa.
6. Kun olet valmis käynnistämään oksien
silppuamisen, varmista, että käynnistyskytkin on
Off-asennossa ennen käynnistämistä.
VAROITUS! Älä koskaan irrota kotelon
lukkoruuvia/puristinta ennen kuin olet ensin kääntänyt
käynnistyskytkimen Off-asentoon ja irrottanut
pistokkeen pistorasiasta.
TYÖ TIME KÄYTTÄMI E
Työnnin on tarkoitettu avuksi, kun puutarhajätettä
syötetään syöttökouruun.
Aseta materiaali syöttökouruun.
Laita työnnin syöttökouruun ja työnnä materiaali
terälevyyn, kuva 12.
Odota, kunnes kaikki materiaali on silputtu ennen
uuden materiaalin lisäämistä.
VAROITUS! Älä koskaan työnnä sormiasi
syöttökouruun. Älä kurota liian pitkälle.
SILPUTU MATERIAALI KERÄÄMI E
Sammuta oksasilppuri ja irrota verkkovirrasta ennen
kuin kiinnität keruupussin tai irrotat sen.
Voit käyttää silputun materiaalin keräämiseen joko
mukana tullutta keruupussia tai asettaa oksasilppurin
muovipeitteen päälle silputun materiaalin
keräämiseksi.
Katso kohta ”Keruupussin kiinnittäminen”.
VAROITUS! Oksasilppurin rungon ilmanvaihtoaukkoja
ei saa koskaan peittää keruupussilla tai silputulla
materiaalilla.
HUOLTO
TERIE VAIHTAMI E
Kun terän molemmat reunat ovat kuluneet, ne täytyy
vaihtaa parina. Terät voidaan teroittaa uudelleen,
mutta tämä toimenpide on suoritettava pätevän

suosittele teroittamista, koska terien paino on kriittinen
asia leikkuulaikan pysymiselle tasapainossa. Se voi
vaurioittaa konetta ja voi aiheuttaa henkilövahingon
käyttäjälle.
Terissä on kaksi leikkuureunaa. Kun terät ovat
kuluneet, ne voidaan kääntää ympäri toisen
leikkuureunan käyttämiseksi.
Varmista, että oksasilppuri on kytketty pois päältä ja
pistoke on irrotettu pistorasiasta.
Poista koneen yläosan kokoonpano irrottamalla
kotelon lukkoruuvi/puristin, kuva 13.
Kierrä auki ja irrota kaikki oksasilppurin rungossa
olevat ruuvit. Poista harmaa levy, jotta pääset käsiksi
teriin, kuva 14.
Lukitse keskimmäinen terälaikka käyttäen
kuusioavainta/kiintoavainta. Irrota kuusioruuvit teristä,
kuten kuvassa 15.
Poista terä ja käännä sitä 180°. Kiinnitä terälevyyn
varmistaen, että hiottu leikkuureuna osoittaa alaspäin.
Toista tämä toimenpide toiselle terälle ja aseta sitten
harmaa levy takaisin paikalleen ja kiinnitä se ruuveilla.
Kiinnitä yläosan kokoonpano runkoon ja varmista, että
yläosan kokoonpano kiinnittyy runkoon, kuten kuvassa
16. Kun kone on pystyssä ja kohdistettu turvallisesti,
kiinnitä kotelo lukkoruuvilla/puristimella.

VAROITUS! Varmista, että kone on irrotettu
virransyötöstä koneen huolto- ja
puhdistustoimenpiteiden aikana.
Ole varovainen oksasilppurin puhdistamisen tai
kunnossapidon aikana, koska vaikka moottori ei
käynnisty suojan lukitusominaisuuksien johdosta, terät
voivat silti liikkua, jos moottoria pyöritetään käsin. Älä
koskaan yritä ohittaa suojuksen lukitusominaisuutta.
Poista jäänteet oksasilppurista harjaa käyttämällä.
Puhdista oksasilppuri aina käytön jälkeen. Puhdista
muovirunko ja muoviosat kostealla liinalla. Puhdista
laitteen ulkopinnat pienellä harjalla. Älä käytä
voimakkaita puhdistusaineita, kotitalouden
puhdistusaineita, jotka sisältävät aromaattisia öljyjä,
kuten mänty tai sitruuna, tai liuottimia, kuten
kerosiinia, koska ne voivat vahingoittaa muovista
runkoa ja muovisia kahvoja.

Pyyhi kaikki kosteus pehmeällä ja kuivalla liinalla.
Varmista, ettei vettä pääse oksasilppurin sisälle.
Älä koskaan puhdista oksasilppuria vesisuihkulla tai
vesihuuhtelulla.
PUSSI PUHDISTAMI E
Tyhjennä pussi jokaisen käyttökerran jälkeen, jotta
vältät sen heikkenemisen.
Suojaa silmät ja käytä hengityssuojainta, kun
puhdistat pussin tarvittaessa. Käännä pussi nurinpäin
alkutyhjentämisen jälkeen ja ravistele roskat ulos.
Pese pussi kerran vuodessa tai tarvittaessa
useammin:
1. Poista pussi.
2. Käännä pussi nurinpäin.
3. Ripusta se roikkumaan.
4. Ruiskuta vedellä.
5. Jätä kuivumaan.
6. Käännä pussi oikeinpäin ja asenna takaisin.
