You must not operate the applian e if it is
damaged.
The applian e must only be onne ted by an
authorised specialist, paying attention to the
relevant regulations of the power supply ompanies
and the regional onstru tion regulations.
Observe the assembly instructions!
When connecting ele tri al applian es and
devi es in the proximity of ooking surfa es and
ovens, make sure that connecting cables do not
be ome jammed under the hot oven door or ome
into onta t with hot ooking surfa es.
As the user, you yourself are responsible for
maintenan e and proper use in the household.
Only ever operate the applian e under
supervision.
Caution: fire risk! Do not store any ombustible
items in your oven. During operation, only leave the
parts in the ooking ompartment that you a tually
need.
Caution ! The applian e and, until the ooling fan
is swit hed on, also the ontrol panel get hot during
operation. Keep hildren away !
Note: to avoid jeopardising the ele tri al safety of
the applian e, it is forbidden to use high-pressure
or steam jet leaning devi es.
The applian e must be isolated from the mains
during all maintenance. To this end, remove the
mains plug or a tuate the orresponding fuse.
Repairs may only be arried out by authorised
ele tri ians, in order to guarantee the safety of the
applian e.
No warranty claims an be lodged for any
damage resulting from failure to observe these
instru tions.

1.2 Operating for the first time
Before operating the applian e for the first time,
please pay attention to the following notes:
Read through these instru tions attentively before
operating your applian e for the first time.
The appliance must be installed and onne ted by
a spe ialist.
Remove the pa kaging from the applian e and
dispose of it properly.
Pay attention to the fa t that there are a essories
in the base of the pa kaging.
Keep packaging elements away from hildren.
Before using the oven for the first time, remove
all removable interior parts (gridiron,
tray ...). Now operate the oven for one hour at
300 °C / 550 °F in the hot air mode. During this time,
pay attention to ensuring that the room is ventilated
well, thus removing any newness smells.
Thoroughly clean the applian e and a essories
before using them for the first time. (see hapter
entitled “Cleaning and are”).
After first installation or a power failure, the
symbol (Door lo k) flashes in the display. Please
do not open the oven door! Then, 08:00 and the
time unit symbol flash in the display. You an set the
urrent time by pressing the + and – keys. When
you turn one of the ontrol knobs or press a key, the
displayed time of day is set as the urrent time of
day.
Before operating the applian e for the first time,
make sure that the mains onne tion is in proper
working order.
The rating plate for this applian e is visible when
you open the applian e door. An additional rating
plate is in luded on a separate sheet of the
instru tions. For guarantee reasons, store this
rating plate in the same lo ation as your operating
and assembly instru tions.
