Part 1 Remote Control/Menu Introduction
1.1 Use Instructions
This product can display program lists of digital images and digital video at 1920x1080 resolutions.
Basic operation of the product can be achieved with the included remote control and AdListManager
software.
To New User:
Before turning on the power, please make sure that the power cord is properly
installed to a grounded AC 110/120V outlet. When turned on, the product will automatically play programs.
If no program is available, it will display the main menu or the boot screen.
Advisement
1. The basic parameters of the product have been set in the factory, usually only basic function
settings may be changed.
2. The BrightShow has a 4GB built-in memory capacity
3. The media files are placed in the specific folders on the memory card.
4. Do not install or use the product in places near to water or when environment is wet.
5. Recommend images of resolution 1920 x 1080.

The main menu looks like the image below.
In the System menu, you can set the menu language, the time displayed on the clock, text bar,
USB, Play Log history and to restore the factory settings as pictured below.
1. OSD Language: Chinese, English
2. Clock Display: Upper Right, Upper Left, Lower Right, Lower Left, Off
3. Scroll Text Display: Scroll text On or Off.
4. USB: Normally On or Closed
5. Restore Default Setting: Restore the menu settings to default.
Default Settings:

Scroll Text Display: On

On/Off Setup: Same setting (Normal On)
Image Setup: Brightness: 50, Contrast: 50, Saturation: 50
Note: To reset to default settings, you should stop playing programs before restoring to default
parameters. After system setup restoration, all setup parameters such as image, On/Off Time Setup will be
reset except the current time.
Use the remote to change the date and time and then select "Update Time & Date Info" to
save the settings as pictured below.
Power On/Off Timer Setup:
Three settings available: Normal On, Normal Off and Time On/Off
Normal On: The digital poster will be on when the power is on.
Normal Off: The digital poster will be off when the power is on. When you exit the menu after setting
the function, it will turn off automatically 5 seconds later and remain off.
Time On/Off: Three groups of time switch function available.
You can choose from two options as in the picture below.

Common Mode: The timer display on / off as set out below:
First there are three options according to the following image
A Timer On / Off: You can set the timer 3 groups, each of them can define on-time and off.
B. Keep On: whenever it is plugged in the monitor is on.
C. Keep Off: when the power monitor will turn off automatically after 60 seconds.
· Week Mode: Monitor will be on and off according to the programmed date and time as below.

Choose the aspect:
16:9: 1920 x 1080 Horizontal
9:16:1080 x 1920 Vertical
3. Choose one of three layouts (Full screen or multiple screens)
4. Optional: Choose Date (Check box) set start and end date from calendar, Also choose Time (Check
Box) select start and stop time (Remember not to schedule to events at the same time).
5. Select OK to continue
2.1.3 Create: Add Media or Modify:
1. If you selected a full screen layout you would only insert media into the VID tab. If you have
selected a multi screen layout then you will insert media into each available tab indicated by
VID, PIC, TOP & BOTTOM
2. Within each tab Start by selecting the Append button (or Edit button if you already have
content inserted)
3. The Playlist Item Editor will popup, select the Browse button and find media (Images or
video) you wish to insert into the playlist timeline.
4. Select the display interval time : Image interval (0-120 seconds)
5. Then Select the transition(Images only) choose from 27 transitions you can preview or
choose (?) for a random choice.
6. Repeat the process for each tab (VID, PIC, TOP & BOTTOM)
7. TOP & BOTTOM Tabs can only hold 1 image while VID & PIC tabs are unlimited
Double click the images you want to edit, the interface will display as shown below.

Once you are satisfied with the results you can make additional settings and distribute your BrightShow
display content.
System Parameters Setting: Set the parameters of the terminal without using the remote control.
OSD Language: English or Chinese (“中文”)
Clock Display: Off, Upper Right, Upper Left, Lower Right, Lower Left,
Scroll Text Display: On or Off.
Parameter Settings: Brightness, Contrast, Saturation. (50 by default; Selectable Range: 0----100)
Timer mode: Common Mode, Week Mode.
2.1.6. Schedule: Options for AdListManager schedule/ time period:
1) Schedule checkbox unchecked: Automatically play media files in the order they are added
2) Schedule checkbox checked: Valid to all time periods when Date ----/--/--, Time--:-- unchecked.
3) Add schedule period: No overlapping is allowed in date period and time period. A red exclamation
mark will appear when error occurs.
4) When corresponding date or time period is available, play the corresponding media. When not,
playing the media in blank time period;
5) Double-click schedule item to edit schedule;
6) Save schedule: Save the set schedules. Load schedule: Open previously set schedules.
2.1.7. Media:
1. For blank date time period, at least one media item should be added. When no media playback is
available for corresponding date or time period, media in blank time period will automatically play
in a continuous loop;
2. Add media: Corresponding schedule must be chosen before you add media. The added media will
be played during corresponding schedule time period;
3. Delete media: Delete selected media. Multiple media files can be deleted from media box in Create
Card interface. You can select multiple files by pressing Ctrl or using Shift+ Up / Down buttons;
Up/Down: Adjust media playback order in schedule period;
4. 30 schedules at most. Each schedule can have 10 media at most added.
No more than 30 media can be imported.
