explode if recharged, disassembled or

INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on choosing the Gamester DVD
Remote, the ultimate DVD remote for the
PlayStation 2 game console.
CONTENTS
1 x DVD Remote
1 x Pass Through Port Receiver
IMPORTANT
• Before using this product, read the PS2
Instruction Manual for safety, health and other
information.
• This product will only work with the PlayStation
2 game console.
• Make sure you press the G/R button to select
between the DVD Remote and Gamepad
functions. When the DVD Remote function is
selected, a green LED will appear on the
Pass Through Port Receiver.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment
by loosening the screw.
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (we recommend
alkaline) taking care to match the polarity
correctly, as indicated within the battery
compartment.
3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw. Do not
over-tighten.
Adult supervision is recommended when
changing batteries.
PRODUCT FEATURES
See figure 1 for the complete list of functions for
the DVD remote control.
USING YOUR DVD REMOTE
• Power down your PlayStation 2 and insert the
Pass Through Port Receiver into game controller
port 1 (see figure 2).
• Turn on your PlayStation 2
• Press the G/R button to select the DVD Remote
function. When the DVD Remote function is
selected, the green LED will appear on the Pass
Through Port Receiver.
• Insert a DVD.
• When the on-screen menu appears, scroll down
using the DIRECTION keys and select the PLAY
option (see figure 3).
• Press the ENTER key to confirm your selection.
• You can access the on-screen menu at any time
by pressing either the SELECT key or the DVD
MENU key at any time.
USING YOUR PLAYSTATION 2
GAMEPAD
• Power down your
PlayStation 2 and
plug your
gamepad into the
Pass Through Port
Receiver (see
figure 4).
• Turn on your
PlayStation 2.

• Press the G/R button to select the Game
Controller function. The green LED on the Pass
Through Port Receiver will turn off when this
function is selected.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Your DVD Remote is not working.
• Make sure the Pass Through Port Receiver is
firmly connected to the PlayStation 2 controller
port 1.
• Make sure the DVD Remote function is selected.
Press the G/R button to select the DVD Remote
function. When the DVD Remote function is
selected, the green LED will appear on the Pass
Through Port Receiver.
• Reset your PlayStation 2 game console.
• Insert new batteries into the remote.
Your gamepad is not working.
• Make sure the Pass Through Port Receiver is
firmly connected to the PlayStation 2 controller
port 1.
• Make sure the gamepad connector is firmly
connected to the Pass Through Port Receiver.
• Reset your PlayStation 2 game console.
