MX NVR Connection
Connect the Ethernet cable, power adapter & HDMI cable (or DVI cable) to the NVR’s ports for the network PoE switch, power
source & LED Monitor.
IP Camera to PoE Switch Connection
Use the Ethernet cable to connect the IP Cameras to the network PoE switch.

Start Up & Shut Down
To Switch on the MX NVR:
1. Connect the power adapter to the MX NVR and an electrical outlet.
2. Connect the LED monitor with an HDMI cable (or DVI cable) and the mouse to the NVR. Then press the Power button on the
NVR system.
3. Switch on the power at the electrical outlet and the NVR will auto start up till the login screen
To Shut Down MX NVR:
1. Press the Power button on the MX NVR front panel and hold for 3 seconds. NVR will shut down after the blue colour LED on
the Power button turns off.
