BEFORE THE FIRST USE
1. Unpack the device and remove all packing materials. Place
the device on a stable stand with a flat horizontal surface.
Thesurface must be dry and clean.
2. Clean the device in accordance with the instructions in the
"Service instructions" section.
OPERATION
1. Connect the device to the power supply network.
2. Fill the tank with cold water. The water level shall be between the
MIN and MAX marks.
3. Set the current time of the day, the timer mode, the ice cube size
(see the "Control Panel" section).
4. Press the ON/OFF button to start the ice making cycle.

Using your coffee maker
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
1. Unpack the appliance and place it on a durable 25-35” high
stand with a at horizontal surface.
2. Open the water tank lid and ll the tank with cold drinking
water. The water level must not exceed the maximum level
indicated on the water gauge. Do not ll the water tank with
any other liquids for brewing operations.
3. Brew water for several times without coffee powder, then pour
it out. Clean and dry all detachable parts thoroughly according
to the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the water tank lid and ll the tank with drinking water. The
water level should not exceed MAX level indicated on the water
gauge.
2. Place the funnel into the funnel support, make sure it is
positioned correctly, otherwise the water tank lid can not be
closed. Place a nylon lter in the funnel.
3. Add ground coffee into the lter. Usually 1 measuring spoon
of coffee powder per cup is enough, but you may adjust the
amount of coffee according to personal taste. Close the water
tank lid completely.
4. Put the glass carafe onto the warming plate.
5. Plug the power cord into the outlet. If you want to adjust
coffee strength, press “Strength” button once. The “Strength”
indicator will illuminate red and the appliance will brew strong
coffee. If you do not want to adjust the coffee strength, just
follow the steps below to brew normal coffee.
NOTE: Press the “Strength” button again if you want to cancel
strong coffee brewing.

Using your coffee maker
6. Press the “On/Off” button. The “On/Off” indicator will illuminate
red, the display will indicate “12:00” and brewing process will
begin.
NOTE: During the brewing process, the “Prog”, “Hour” and
“Min” buttons are disabled.
7. The brewing process can be interrupted at any time by pressing
the “On/Off” button. To resume the brewing process, press the
“On/Off” button again.
NOTE: You can take out the carafe, pour and serve at any time.
The appliance will stop dripping automatically. But the time
cannot exceed 30 seconds.
8. When the brewing is nished (about 1 minute after the coffee
stops dripping) remove the carafe and pour the coffee out.
NOTE: The volume of coffee will be less than the volume of
water you added, as some water will be absorbed by coffee
grounds.
9. Once the brewing is nished, the coffee maker will enter the
keep warm mode for 2 hours. After that it will automatically
turn off the warming plate, while the display will show the
current time.
If you want to cancel the keep warm mode, remove the power
plug from the outlet.
10. Always turn the appliance off and remove the plug from the
outlet when not in use.
NOTE: Be careful while pouring the coffee out, because it is hot
and you may get scalded.
DELAY FUNCTION
If you do not want the coffee maker to start operation immediately,
you can use the delayed start function. For example, the current
time is 8:10, but you want the coffee maker to start the brewing at
13:00. First, follow the steps 1-5 of the previous section. Then set
the delayed start:

Cleaning and maintenance
1. Set the current time (8:10) by pressing “Hour” and “Min” buttons
repetitively. We use 24 hour time format.
2. Press “Prog” button once and the “Program’’ indicator will blink
white.
3. Set the auto-start time (13:00) by pressing “Hour” and “Min”
buttons repetitively.
4. Press the “Prog” button again, the “Program” indicator will
illuminate white. After a while, the display will indicate the
current time.
NOTE: To cancel the delayed start press the “Prog” button
again. If you want to change the delayed start time, repeat the
steps 2-4 above.
5. At 13:00 the ON/OFF indicator will illuminate red and the coffee
maker will start brewing.
6. Once the brewing is nished, the coffee maker will enter the
keep warm mode for 2 hours. After that it will automatically
turn off the warming plate, while the display will show the
current time.
If you want to cancel the keep warm mode, remove the power
plug from the outlet.
NOTE: During brewing process, the “Prog”, “Hour” and “Min”
buttons are disabled.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always make sure to unplug the appliance and let it cool
down to room temperature before cleaning.
Do not treat your coffee maker with abrasive materials, sharp
objects, aggressive cleaners, gasoline, acids, alkalis or solvents.
Wipe the body of the appliance regularly with a clean, damp cloth or
sponge. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot soapy water.

Cleaning and maintenance
Water droplets may build up in the funnel and drip onto the product
base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with
a clean, dry cloth after each use.
Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming plate. Never use
abrasive cleaners.
DESCALING
If you use hard water, scale deposits may appear on the coffee
maker parts. In order to maintain the operating eciency please
descale the appliance according to the following instructions.
1. Prepare the descaling solution. Usually the ratio of water and
descaler is 4:1, for more detailed information please refer to
the instructions on descaler package. Please use “household
descaler”. You may also use the citric acid (3 parts of citric acid
for 100 parts of water).
2. Fill the tank with the solution to the max level as indicated on
water gauge.
3. Put the glass carafe onto the warming plate.
4. Make sure the funnel is in its place.
5. Turn on the appliance and allow it to “brew” the descaling
solution.
6. Switch off the appliance after it has brewed 1 cup of the
descaling solution.
7. Let the solution work for 15 minutes and repeat steps 4-6.
8. Turn on the appliance and run off the solution until the water
tank is completely empty.
9. Rinse by operating the appliance with clear water at least 3
times.

Hints for great-tasting coffee
Important safety instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD:
1. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage
stated on the rating label of the Coffee Maker.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug,
or any part of the Coffee Maker in water or other liquid.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coffee maker is essential for brewing great-tasting
coffee. Regularly clean the coffee maker as described in the
“CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section. Always use fresh,
cold drinking water in the coffee maker.
2. Store your ground coffee in a cool, dry place. After opening
a package of ground coffee, reseal it tightly and store it in a
refrigerator to maintain its quality.
3. For a better coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and nely
grind them just before brewing.
4. Do not reuse coffee grounds since this will greatly reduce coffee
avor. Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its
peak avor immediately after brewing.
5. Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness.
Small oil droplets on the surface of brewed black coffee are due
to the extraction of oil from the coffee powder.
6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffee bins
are used

3. The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended
to t into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify the
plug in any way.
HEALTH HAZARD:
1. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
2. To protect against re, electric shock or injury to person, do not
immerse the cord or plug in water or other liquids.
3. Close supervision is necessary when the coffee maker is in
use or when the coffee is hot. Do not allow children to use the
coffee maker or use near children.
4. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing
cycles.
5. Do not open the lid when the coffee urn is heating, or the
boiling water will spray out.
HOT SURFACE HAZARD:
The surfaces may get hot during the use. Use handles or knobs only.
OTHER SAFETY MEASURES:
1. Unplug unit from the outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning the coffee maker.
2. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in
abnormal state. If its main cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by a qualied person.
3. To disconnect, switch to the ‘off’ position, then remove the plug
from wall outlet.
4. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter,
or touch hot surface.

5. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
6. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
7. Never plug on the coffee maker without any water inside its
pot, or the appliance will turn off automatically, in which case
you must unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Heating
element may be damaged after dry heating.
8. Do not pour water beyond the max level.
9. Do not move the coffee maker while in use or when coffee is still hot.
10. The appliance is not intended for operating by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
11. Don’t use the appliance outdoors.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are
available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer
detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over unintentionally. The electrical rating of the
appliance is listed on the bottom of the unit. If the appliance is
of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounded
type 3-wire cord.

ANTES DE USAR
1. Desempaquete el aparato y colóquelo sobre un lugar estable
de 25-35" de altura con una supercie horizontal plana.
2. Abra la tapa del depósito de agua y llénelo con agua potable
fría. El nivel del agua no debe exceder el nivel máximo
indicado en el indicador de agua. No llene el depósito de
agua con ningún otro líquido para preparar.
3. Prepare agua varias veces sin café, y luego viértala. Limpie
y seque todas las piezas desmontables bien, siguiendo las
instrucciones de “LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO”.
USO DE LA CAFETERA
1. Abra la tapa del depósito de agua y llénelo con agua potable. El nivel de
agua no debe exceder el nivel MAX indicado en el medidor de agua.

2. Coloque el embudo en el soporte del embudo, asegúrese de que
esté colocado correctamente, de lo contrario la tapa del tanque de
agua no se puede cerrar. Coloque el ltro de nylon en el embudo.
3. Agregue café molido al ltro. Por lo general, 1 cucharada
medidora de café en polvo por taza es suciente, pero puede
ajustar la cantidad de café de acuerdo a su gusto personal. Cierre
completamente la tapa del depósito de agua.
4. Coloque la jarra de vidrio en la placa de calentamiento.
5. Enchufe el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente. Si desea
ajustar la intensidad del café, presione el botón "Strength" una vez. El
indicador “Strength” se iluminará en rojo y el aparato preparará café
más fuerte. Si no desea ajustar la intensidad del café, simplemente
siga los pasos a continuación para preparar café normal.
NOTA: Pulse el botón “Strength” de nuevo si desea cancelar la
preparación de café fuerte.
6. Pulse el botón “On/Off”. El indicador “On/Off” se iluminará en rojo, la
pantalla indicará “12:00” y comenzará el proceso de preparación.
NOTA: Durante el proceso de preparación, los botones “Prog”,
“Hour” y “Min” estarán desactivados.
7. El proceso de preparación se puede interrumpir en cualquier

NOTA: El volumen de café será menor que el volumen de agua

9. Una vez nalizada la preparación, la cafetera entrará en el modo
de mantener caliente durante 2 horas. Después de eso, se apagará
automáticamente la placa de calentamiento, mientras que la
pantalla mostrará la hora actual.
Si desea cancelar el modo de mantener caliente, retire el enchufe
de la toma de corriente.
10. Siempre apague el aparato y retire el enchufe de la toma de
corriente cuando no esté en uso.
NOTA: Tenga cuidado al verter el café, porque está caliente y
puede quemarse.

FUNCIÓN DE RETARDO
Si no desea que la cafetera comience a funcionar de inmediato,
puede usar la función de inicio retrasado. Por ejemplo, la hora
actual es 8:10, pero desea que la cafetera comience la preparación
a las 13:00. Primero, siga los pasos del 1-5 de la sección anterior.
Luego congure el inicio retrasado:
1. Ajuste la hora actual (8:10) pulsando repetidamente los botones
